Access to laundry facilities in main house if required. 1 minute walk to beach, 1 min. drive or 10 minute walk to large selection of restaurants in Orewa. Five minutes from motorway, 30 minutes from Harbour bridge.

The West Wing

Quiet rural setting overlooking the Mahurangi River ,Te Kapa inlet and farmland .Lots of native bush and wild bird life . Matakana area has wineries ,restaurants ,art galleries ,beaches ,regional parks and a farmers market . As it is West facing we are often treated to spectacular sunsets. The apartment is spacious with a sitting room and is separated from the main house by a double garage . Suitable for wheelchair users . We are down a 2 km gravel road but the views are worth the drive.

A modern guest suite set in tranquil and spectacular surroundings. Lots of facilities including spa, swim spa, charcoal bbq, garden furniture all set on a large deck. A well equipped suite with everything you need. A comfortable double bed and pull out sofa bed for extra guests. A fully equipped kitchen including fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob. All cutlery, plates, cups, pans etc. Tea and coffee also provided. Modern bathroom with shower. Towels, toilet roll, shower gel provided.

Our space is great for travellers who enjoy wineries, cafes, beaches, walks, a boutique cinema, Matakana market on Saturdays, Morris and James pottery and the variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have an adequate shopping centre and local pub within walking distance.
