Beachfront holiday rental in Makarska

Beautiful location idyllic garden surprising down to the smallest details. Cottage very nice bedroom upstairs difficult to reach but possibly you can turn the sofa downstairs into a bed. Friendly welcome and very helpful, cozy city. Certainly repeatable!!!!

A truly idyllic place to unwind. We had a lovely week of swimming, kayaking and relaxing away from people (the property can only be accessed by boat so it is very peaceful and quiet). The host was very communicative - we can definitely recommend and would love to return to this unique property again!!

This is a great apartment, well located for all amenities and the beautiful beaches. Igor is a great host, with good communication and nice restaurant tips.

We loved our stay on Hvar at Anamarija’s apartment. It is a relaxing, stylish space and the views from the balcony are beautiful. We really appreciated the extra treats that were left in the fridge and the warm welcome. I would definitely stay here again if we came back to Hvar.

Maya, her son, and father are amazing!!! Very friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time here during our 2 week Euro trip. Fantastic views from the balcony and a great place to relax with lounge chairs and a table to eat at. Right on the water with a great walk down to the shore where you can jump right into the sea! Space was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was SO nice. By far the nicest bathroom of anywhere we stayed. Maya's father took us out on his boat with his beagle. It was amazing. He knew the best spots, shared cool information/stories. It was a very authentic/non touristy experience. Maya let us borrow snorkel gear and that was beyond awesome because we snorkeled in the sea by the house but also on our boat trip which was truly special. She also provided homemade olive oil which was divine. WONDERFUL experience and stay.

I felt so comfortable in Mirka's beautiful apartment. It was just lucky to stay right on the water with such a fantastic view. In addition, amenities, communication and cleanliness were great - always back and thank you to Mirka.

Fabulous beach house vibe. We absolutely loved staying right on the beach - beautiful sunlit mornings, spectacular sunsets and easy to swim (even if the water was a little chilly!). Short easy walk into the chilled out village of Drasnice with relaxing seafront cafes. Excellent location on the Makarska Riviera with easy access (by car) to amazing beaches like Punta Rata at Brela. If you fancy a bit of adventure, it's also convenient for the Bikovo National Park with its dramatic Skywalk. Emi was a very kind host, giving us homemade bread and cookies and even a souvenir gift at the end of our stay. Her son Rato was also very helpful and quickly responded to our request for more towels. The house is a cosy beach cottage, quite rustic but very cute. The kitchen is small and doesn't have an oven so it challenged our cooking skills a bIt but we got on fine and there is a dishwasher, washing machine and great shower.

Perfect place for calm and quiet rest. Beach 7 min walk, beautiful swimming pool, super friendly host.

I came to spend a few days with my mother in Tafra's accommodation, it was a great Airbnb with an incredible view. The pool and hot tub are a real plus. The accommodation was very clean with everything you need in it. We can't wait to go back.

The villa is fantastic and the local area is quiet but has enough restaurants and bars to keep you busy. Getting in and out of Split is easy and Uber is very good value (do not use local taxis). The standout feature of the property is the outside area including the views. It is easy to access the sea and beach, and the water is beautiful. The only potential to the villa is how it is split across two properties. This was not an issue for us at all, and for some people this may be a bonus, but worth noting.

This apartment was perfect, one of nicest I’ve ever stayed in! It was beautiful, spotless and with the most incredible setting! Elma and Nives were both super helpful and responsive! The pool was also spotless and perfect for cooling off! The area is stunning! We hiked in the mountains behind and swam in the most beautiful sea I’ve ever seen! Stomarica was blissfully quiet and a lovely walk along the promenade to Brela! Cannot recommend enough!

We really enjoy our stay. Everything clean, modern, absolutely perfekt. The apartment, the view, the pool, ... . The owner was helpful and communicative. Last but not least, excellent conditions for charging our electric car. It was wonderful, we would love to come back.

Our stay at Vlado's place was really great and met (and exceeded) all our expectations! on arrival we were kindly welcomed and shown around the apartment. To our happy surprise it was not a partial swimming pool but private only for us, what a luxury! elek day was checked if we needed anything else and if we had a good time. We were also spoiled several times with delicious homemade cakes, and fresh grapes from the garden. When you leave, you will also be pampered again and given 2 presents for home. makarska is also a great beautiful place with plenty to do and plenty of good food. We will definitely come back! Everything about the house was great. However all local restaurants and bars that were walkable were shut until next year which we didn't expect. Also although their websites say the are open many supermarkets were shut on the Sunday - had we known in advance we would have bought more on the Saturday. These things aside - the house was lovely, clean and everything we wanted.

We were a group of ten people on vacation, including 5 adults and 5 children. The apartment was clean and had enough space for all of us. The large terrace area, swimming pool and hot tub were in heavy use. The apartment is located on a slope, but it was a suitable 15-minute walk down to the village. A warm recommendation for the place if you are going to Makarska!

We loved staying a bit out of the main town as the beaches were quieter and we really enjoyed the stroll into town along the sea front. We really enjoyed boat and ferry trips out along the coast and to the islands of Hvar and Korchula. Lots of opportunities for walkers and mountain bikers in the area. The flat was spotless and we loved the balcony, especially watching the sun come up over the mountains in the morning. Although we did not use it there was a lovely little garden and barbecue area that we were free to use. Marino and his mum were super hosts, we really appreciated pick up and drop off from the bus station. Thank you

Jozo was an excellent host and you can clearly see the love that he’s poured into Love Hvar’s penthouse. Every detail is thought of and takes advantage of the space perfectly. Additionally the space is spotless and well kept. It’s a great location and walkable to all of Hvar town. Thanks, Jozo for an amazing stay.

Rest in this house is super comfortable and cozy. Perfect place for family vacation with children. We are sure that we will return here next season.

Fantastic apartment with a great view. Perfect location, literally right on the beach. Hosts were caring, kind, and communicative. Great stay, we hope to come again! 5 stars.

Beautiful villa. Clean and well organised apartment. Spacy and with lovely view on west: beach and Adriatic Sea. Every day you can watch sunset directly from the beach just in front of villa or from your balcony. Every morning you can enjoy having breakfast with the sound of waves gently washing stones on the shore. Hosts are very kind and caring. You cannot see them here and there watching out and chatting with neighbours and guests. The place is directly at the promenade, on its calmer end. On the promenade you’ll find choice restaurants and bars to spend evenings.

This was an amazing stay! Exactly what I was looking for- private, peaceful and beautiful. The view was amazing from the room and then you go down to the private beach and its just serene. On the way down to the beach Damir let us feed the tortoises! Might be silly but that was definitely the highlight they are so cute. We really appreciate this experience and recommend everyone to come stay if you are looking for relaxation. I will warn though you should probably rent a car for this stay, its better so you can come and go as you please and not wait so long for public transportation. We also enjoyed driving around the mountains and seeing the Centina River Canyon and its not a bad drive to Split and other places!
