Both the living room and the kitchen have a wood-burning stove, in addition to floor and wall heating. The kitchen has a 6-burner gas stove, a large oven, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher and various appliances. The designer bed is in the living room. On your private terrace is the outdoor shower. In the garden overlooking the Rhine, there are various seating and BBQ areas.

From here, you can endlessly walk through the forest and explore the surroundings, for example, towards the hills near Groesbeek. We border on various hiking, cycling and mountain biking routes, such as the Walk of Wisdom: a pilgrimage route of 136 kilometers around Nijmegen.

The Oude Glasfabriek can be found in the popular Nijmegen district "Oost". The property is located on a quiet path where you can mainly hear the birds. Yet, it is in the middle of the neighborhood. Within a few minutes' walk, you have a wide choice of cozy cafes and restaurants. The city center, the Waalkade, the Ooijpolder or the woods are nearby. Radboud University and the University of Applied Sciences of Arnhem and Nijmegen (HAN) can also be reached by bicycle within a few minutes.

Centrum Nijmegen is ongveer 15 minuten rijden. Een bushalte met directe busverbinding naar Station Nijmegen en Radboudumc ligt op 75 meter van onze woning. Diverse voorzieningen, zoals supermarkt en horeca, zijn op loopafstand. Thermen Berendonck bevindt zich op 14 minuten rijden.

In the immediate vicinity you will find several nice restaurants. The fascinating hilly landscape in which Berg and Dal and Groesbeek are hidden, are easy to reach by foot or by bike as well as the sandy beaches of the river Waal where you can swim. The studio is accessible for disabled people with a wheelchair.

Our place in the countryside exudes tranquility and a relaxed atmosphere and is located in proximity to forests and recreational lakes. The house is luxuriously furnished, equipped with comfortable beds, rain shower & dishwasher. In the summer, there is a swimming pool of 5 m x 10 m in the garden (1.30/1.40 m deep), where you can swim.

Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
