Beachfront holiday rental in Malia

we had a great week at Maria's place. The covered terrace is the most beautiful room in the house with a magnificent view of the sea. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away, but beware, for people who have difficulty walking, the slope is rather steep to climb. Maria is very responsive and responds very quickly to messages. Agia Pelagia remains a small seaside resort very well located to visit the north of the island. Beautiful discovery

The pictures don’t do this view justice. It’s breathtaking! The home is gorgeous and the outdoor space is wonderful. It was too cold for us to swim but we still enjoyed time at the beach. Most of the immediate area was already shut down for the season during our stay but there is a lovely area about a mile walk away. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the coffee shops and restaurants. The house and rooms were fantastic and there was more than enough space for everyone to relax. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we left some glasses at a restaurant. Thank you so much for a great stay!!

The apartment is immaculate, inside and out. We were greeted by Stella's kind father who showed us around the property. The kitchen and fridge were stocked with basic pantry items to get us through until we could go to a grocery store. We were celebrating a birthday and in response Stella had a bouquet of flowers and a greeting card set out. Such a sweet and personal touch. The beds were comfortable and the towels were soft. The washing machine was nice to have, especially with soap and softener readily available. The internet connectivity was fantastic. There is a small grocery store nearby (but the walk is uphill). Restaurants are a bit further. We rented a car so it wasn't a big deal for us. There is also a small beach a short downhill walk from the property. There are chairs and umbrellas available to rent. There is also a boat and paddle board rental on site. Overall, our stay at Stella's was amazing. We had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this property.

Athina and her family are great hosts, very warm and helpful. They do it with heart, you can tell. There's no better way to do it! They are also available at any time if you have questions, just great! The place is as shown in the pictures. We were there with our little son and dog, both were very warmly welcomed. For children, there are toys, high chairs and a paddling pool. We also received some great gifts, which is also very nice. (Fruit, olive oil, wine and homemade snacks) Parking spaces can always be found, either on the property or on the street. You can reach many great restaurants and a great sandy beach in a short time by car. The neighbors are also very nice. We can only recommend it for families!

Amazing place to stay and Jekaterina is the BEST host! She was so attentive to our needs and made such fantastic recommendations everyday, which made our stay even better. Thank you Jekaterina! We hope to see you again soon!

Had a great time here! Vasilis was very accommodating and the place came as expected. Clean, great views of the water, and centrally located to the shops and restaurants in town. Highly recommend!

We will miss it. The house and pool were great. We had a wonderful time there. We also took the cats to our hearts right away.❤️ In 2 years we'll be back.

This quaint AirBnB was not only comfortable but also a stone’s throw away from the beach. We felt right at home and enjoyed every moment - would totally recommend! (Side note: Crete is a gorgeous but absolutely HUGE island, if you want to get around easily and visit other beaches you should definitely hire a car) 🇬🇷

The villa is good, but not very clean and not maintained very well (door handle broke, the shower hole was clogged). The pool is great and shared with the other condo's and villa. There wasnt a problem with the host, but he doesnt go the further step to communicate with you. The communication is very basic. The location is ok, about 20 minutes walk from the main port, 3 minutes walk from the nearest beach, but the beach is not very nice. The only main problem is that the double beds are small, and not very comfortable for 2 adults. Over-all for the price, this place is good.

Everything was super positive and there is nothing to complain about. Only to note is the parking situation. There is no reserved parking space.

The stay was good, private and secluded. All listed amenities were present. Pool and BBQ were crucial to us, also worth to mention: there is an A/C unit in each room. Wifi was perfectly stable. You can hear the road noises, but it is manageable, it didn't affect our experience.

Dora and her family were so friendly and helpful. Dora collected us from the bus and arrived the next morning with a pot of soup. Delicious. Everything about the accommodation was amazing. A lovely apartment nice pool area , nice walks. Bravo restaurant and staff are fantastic. Antonis is so friendly and welcoming. It’s our favourite restaurant. I would highly recommend this Airbnb

Had a great stay! Thank you for your warm hosting, as well as your responsiveness and flexibility. The Airbnb is very well located: about 20-25 min from Heraklion by car and 10 min from the center of Hersonissos. Not having a vehicle, I got around by bus or taxi. There is a stop right in front of the accommodation (at the Zorbas Village Hotel) or another stop about 15-20 minutes walk. It is better to have a car to get around, go shopping because the Airbnb is a little out of the way, there is no hypermarket nearby on foot, it is a tourist area with many hotels, the molo café opposite offers free deckchairs. The location is very nice and safe, there are a lot of buses, taxis, cars but it's not too disturbing. The sea is right across the street, not even 2 minutes away, the view from the garden is great (of the sea and the mountains). The accommodation is comfortable and perfect for one or two people. I would definitely stay again.

Great place! Beautiful view. Wonderful outdoor area with pool. Paying extra for pool heating was worse it. Sea shore across the street from the villa but might need to walk couple of minutes to sand beach with umbrellas. Grill was available per request. Some restaurants are within walking distance, but I would recommend renting a car. Hosts are very responsive.

Very spacious, modern apt with a beautiful balcony. The street noise below made it difficult to sit out and talk there, but the view of the ocean was very nice. Well appointed kitchen. Very clean and neat. Mihalis gave us a great recommendation for dinner nearby that was lovely. We had a nice stay here

Great! Go for it! The accommodation: Wow! Clean, cozy, comfort. A magnificent terrace with a private jacuzzi that we enjoyed a lot and a breathtaking view of the small port. A kitchen with everything you need (fridge, dishes, cutlery, etc.). 2 beautiful bathrooms with everything you need (towels, products, etc.). Comfortable rooms. A living room with Netflix, for those who want to relax a little in the evening. The welcome: Wow! Harry was waiting for us with a smile, despite our delay (plane, car rental, the vagaries of travel🤣). On site a lot of things to start our vacation well: fruit, cold cuts, bread, water, coke and lunch (jams, honey, coffee...) The big plus: Thanks to Harry for his good advice (places to visit, restaurants, taverns, beaches...) and his constant availability and speed to respond during our stay. The place: Very nice port, a little noisy and lively in the evening. A good start to travel.

It was perfect. Very very friendly host and a great studio with direct views of the sea. Clean and large. Many nice touches in the fridge when we arrived. Thanks a lot for that. The location is perfect with restaurants and a mini-market nearby. Air conditioning works very well. Beautiful bathroom. In the kitchen it has everything you need. (Sandwich maker, toaster, kettle, hotplate, filter coffee maker) We were in Stalis for the third time. This room was the best of all.

We were perfectly happy here, everything was as described, the hosts were super friendly and helpful, the house is perfectly equipped (we made heavy use of the sandwich toaster), there is more then enough room. The surroundings are perfect as well, it's quiet, and the beach is very near, there are also some nice restaurants there. Plus there is a bus to Heraklion that goes every half hour. There is really nothing to complain about, we felt immediately welcome, and had a great time.

Niki and Cristos were really lovely and friendly hosts. Fresh flowers, homemade biscuits and cake, wine etc were provided and left in the apartment. The apartment was bright and clean. They treated us as family and really made us feel at home. Surrounded by the most amazing mountains. Beautiful people on beautiful Bali. What more could you ask for? Eif charisto! Our stay at Katerina’s place was nothing short of perfect! She is a great host, very kind and helpful, the place is stunning, with a beautiful view of the sea and walking distance to the beach. We felt right at home, the apartment was spotless and we immediately fell in love with her dog Marcos, so adorable! I would definitely come back asap. Thank you!

The Airbnb was perfect! Everything as described, literally 1 second away from the beach, there are many restaurants and bars close by. The view from the balcony/rooftop was incredible, the sunsets were to die for! The communication was very quick and friendly. All in all I recommend this Airbnb to everyone who wants to have a good time in Gouves. Thanks for everything and we will definitely come back!!
