Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Manchester

We had the pleasure of staying at John and Dorothy’s wonderful home and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We were shown to a spacious and beautifully presented room with our own private bathroom, along with access to a comfortable and well-kept reception room. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable—we had a fantastic night’s sleep. The following morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring fresh strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, accompanied by yogurt, a generous selection of granola and cereals, as well as toast and a variety of jams. It was a lovely and thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. John was a friendly, attentive, and gracious host throughout. Comfortable accommodation within a charming period property in a lovely village. Lots of local attractions, went to Wirksworth, Haddon Hall, Melbourne church and Calke Abbey in the two days stayed, all stunning … and lots more attractions in easy reach. Duffield is charming and has ample eating and drinking establishments plus Co-Op and newsagents in the village only steps away.

Had a fantastic stay at Pondon Mill this weekend. We were made to feel so welcome, the breakfast was fantastic. We did establish our dog is scared of cats, but as Barbara suggested we just need to get one of our own to train him. We will definitely be returning. Amazing setting, lovely people. Fantastic place to stay with so much history. Thank you for having us!

Tina and Jasper were lovely hosts, very responsive and helpful for minor issues that occurred during our stay which they quickly resolved. The apartment was beautiful, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The surrounding land is lovely and quiet, great for walks even in the rain! Highly recommended hosts and location. Would love to stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Ed and Charlottes, the perfect spot to explore from. The cottage was spotless and exactly as listed with lovely scenery and stocked with the essentials for our stay we were even treated to a delicious bowl of fresh strawberries on our final morning. The place was easy to find and the prearrival instructions easy to follow and had really helpful information on local taxis and places to eat nearby perfect for our stay. A'Dell has a beautiful Victorian townhouse in a delightful leafy area of Stockport, full of original details but sensitively restored and updated. I had a very enjoyable and comfortable one-night stay, A'Dell is very helpful and made me feel welcome and relaxed in her home. The room is well equipped and quiet with a view of beautiful gardens and parkland, you will sleep well! The guest bathroom is exceptionally well designed and equipped with traditional roll-top bath and spacious shower. Don't stay in a soulless hotel room; stay in this lovely comfortable home!

Mandy was great. She was super friendly and made every effort to make me feel comfortable and accommodated my bike which I needed for the Ironman I was in town for! The complimentary breakfast was a lovely touch. Had everything I needed. Clean fresh bedding, the whole place smelt clean and fresh. Great short stay for a solo traveller!

A Wonderful place which is located in lovely town! Even if it's a bit far from the Manchester city center, the town has lots of good pubs and cafes so you can enjoy all in town. I was lucky to see the flea market on Saturday which was held just in front of this Inn and it was so interesting. The room is also well equipped just as you can see in pictures. If the weather was more warm and sunny I would definitely enjoy the balcony too. It was pleasant stay in general.

Great cosy stay, very warm & the bed is super comfortable!

Fatima's home is very nice and cozy. A friend and I spent a weekend there and were very comfortable. It was super cold outside yet the house was always very warm! Her family also made you feel super welcomed and even made us some food! Would recommend staying here if you're spending a few days in Manchester. 💕

Good location for pubs and restaurants around Didsbury. Really clean and cool basement flat. Nice touch with snacks and cereal.

Jenny was a great host. Thoughtful and responsive. Great location for an easy walk into Hebden Bridge - right next to the canal towpath. Good public transport links too.

Enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night. Very conveniently located in town and is in a lovely peaceful setting. The room was very nice and very comfortable in a nice garden setting. The parking space was good. We had a good evening meal at the Rutland arms just up the road. The fully cooked breakfast was plentiful and tasty and worth the short walk down the road. We would definitely return again. Thank you.

The canal Inn is the perfect place to stay. We loved the accommodation and everyone who worked there was very friendly and accommodating. Great atmosphere and lovely locals too. Got to meet Lola a local dog would give her 5 paws too if we could. Would definitely recommend for all ages and types of stay. We stopped breifly on our way up to Scotland and would definitely come back again and spend longer.

Leanda & Nigel are incredibly gracious hosts, it's clear that their BnB is their joy and passion. They genuinely care about their guests' comfort and enjoyability throughout their stay. The house itself is absolutely stunning, with pristine gardens and incredible views. The area is also very beautiful with lots of walks and wildlife. Leanda is a very talented cook, so the breakfast was really amazing, we felt so lucky to have stayed several nights to enjoy it! The room we stayed in was super comfortable and well-equipped, with everything we might have needed on a rainy day - TV, tea, coffee, biscuits and delicous cakes (though we were lucky with the weather!). It's so quiet and peaceful at night that we had some really restful nights sleep. Leanda & Nigel really have thought of everything in terms of making it a comfortable stay. This was, by far, the best experience we've had on AirBnB for a long time. We'd do it all again in a heartbeat, and would highly recommend it to others!

I came to Amal’s place after joining the LFC parade. Can’t ask for more in a cold and wet night - a hot shower and comfortable bed just healed me. Host is friendly and helpful too.

I stayed at Riverdene for a weekend and enjoyed a lovely stay with Mark. The bedrooms are modern, clean and tidy and the bathrooms are very smart. Good quality breakfast every morning. Location is also very central in Bakewell. Mark is also lovely company and accommodating.

Primrose Garden Studio is a beautiful place to stay with everything that you would possibly need included. Inside was extremely clean and decorated to a high quality with all the amenities you would need (fan, hoover, towels, speaker were just fantastic extra that we were not expecting). Oscar had prepared the studio before we arrived and showed us round, giving us useful information. He informed us of local amenities and recommendations and communicated well throughout our stay. The private outside area was also beautiful. I would highly recommend anyone to come and stay at Primrose Garden Studio and we are looking forward to going back and staying here again, this time longer to visit more local attractions but mainly to enjoy this beautiful location.
