The home was absolutely beautiful. As a host, David stayed in contact through the entire process, and including through out our stay. We highly recommend David and his property. We will be visiting again and staying at David’s place.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The home was beautifully decorated with custom murals, an art deco aesthetic, and was very updated inside. Everything inside and outside of the home was very clean and well kept up. The backyard and pool were stunning and the landscaping was so beautiful we thought the plants were fake! The neighbors were friendly and the home felt safe with extra security. Our host checked on us via messages consistently throughout our stay and responded quickly to any questions we had prior to our stay. The homes location did require us to drive to Bourbon St, Frenchmen St, and Jackson Square, which we knew when we booked the stay and did not bother us. We definitely recommend staying here if you want to have a blast in NOLA!

Very responsive host. The place was in a good location and clean. The shared amenities were a different experience. It’s a small area so you are in extremely close proximity to another group if you are both by the pool. Not able to fully relax but maybe that’s just me.

The pictures don’t do this place justice me and my family are from Louisiana and we loved the vibe of this house. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We will absolutely stay here again.

The location of Jason’s house was great - we were within a 10-15 minute drive of just about everything we wanted to do. The house looked exactly like the pictures but was bigger than the pictures make it look. Jason was very responsive when we had questions and provided local recommendations.

This was our second time staying at one of Thomas' properties, and we had another great stay. The home is beautifully decorated and maintained, and has everything you need for an easy and enjoyable stay. Thomas was very accommodating with check-in time and our last-minute request for a pack n' play -- a fantastic host! We found the neighborhood very friendly, and enjoyed the proximity to the Lafitte Greenway (access is just a block away -- we didn't even realize this when we rented the place!) and local businesses like Flour Moon and the Broadside. Highly recommend!

First of all, Robert was a great host. He was proactive in his communications and very quick to respond to mine. The house was charming and easily accommodated the seven of us. The full kitchen allowed us to have healthy, home-cooked family meals together. The adorable back patio and pool were an added bonus. Robert made sure that our stay was easy and comfortable. I highly recommend Robert was a wonderful host.

We had such a wonderful stay. It was a spectacular home, walkable to magazine street with all the shops/restaurants. We made so many special memories. I would absolutely recommend staying at this gem.

Gracious hosts and fantastic location for soaking up the charm of Abita Springs! This house is stylish but still cozy-we felt so welcome & comfortable here.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The place was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with all the essentials (and then some!). The location was ideal—a quick drive to great restaurants, shops, and other local attractions. This stay exceeded my expectations in every way, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend it to others. Thank you for making my trip so enjoyable!

Beautiful property, even beyond the pictures. Very private, peaceful, clean and spacious. Our three girls were in heaven watching the wildlife off the high deck. We bbq and had family over, there was room for everyone and all our friends and family said it was a rare find of a property. We will definitely be back, and host extremely friendly and responsive!

Great place to stay! There were 6 of us staying in the house and there was plenty of space. The house was super clean. The beds were comfortable and we felt right at home. The bathrooms could use fans of some kind. It gets a little stuffy in there, but not a deal breaker. Great piece of property with lots to do! Heather was super nice and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

100 recommend this host and property. The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful scenery, peaceful and private location, and historic charm of this place. Stephen and his family are extremely hospitable, very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We hope to come back again very soon!

We had such a wonderful time at John and Karen’s place. They are wonderful people and great hosts. We had an amazing time with them as they took us around Madisonville, showing us a few great spots. Their place is so beautiful and relaxing. It’s magical. We came from California so staying here was an adventure, so different from what we are used to. We fell in love with Madisonville. This little green house is small but so cozy and perfect for a weekend get away. It is set on a beautiful piece of property that is private, yet not isolated. We very much enjoyed both the amenities of the house itself as well as fishing in the pond, thanks to the very well equipped fishing supplies on site. The kitchen is perfect for cooking a small meal, the bedroom is cozy and comfortable, and the decor is very cute. We cannot wait to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Madeline’s place. It is better in person than the photos- pristine clean, beautiful kitchen, and lovely screened in porch. We felt very comfortable and had everything we needed. It is super close (less than 4 min drive, 25 min easy walk) to downtown Covington where you’ll find cute restaurants and our favorite, Haven coffee shop. The area felt quiet and safe.

The space was charming, well-kept, and created the most intimate and romantic setting for our special day. I’m incredibly thankful to the host for honoring my request to have the grass cut before the event—it made the entire area look picture-perfect and ready for guests. We love booking Ms. Susie’s place. Being there so close to our family, feels like a home away from home. The artwork that she has done is displayed throughout the home and it truly adds that extra something special to the cozy vibe. Booking a stay at the Core Homestead will not disappoint!! My wife and I stayed in this Air BNB in Slidell for our anniversary trip in May of 2025. We had an awesome time! We’ve stayed in a lot of places and this one hands down has been the most at home we’ve ever felt. The house was clean, welcoming and so peaceful. Stephanie was wonderful to interact with. If you are looking for the perfect getaway, this place offers all the bells and whistles. Let me start by saying our host Chris was unbelievable. He offered some of the best customer service I have ever received. Anytime we needed anything, he responded immediately. The house itself was amazing.The pictures don’t do it justice. The house itself offers a huge living room and kitchen. But the best part of the inside of the house, would have to be the master suite which is enormous. But by far and away the best feature of the house was the pool. It was like your own private resort pool and you had it all to yourself. The pool had lights, waterfall, and a swim up bar. The outside area had plenty of comfortable seating. It also had a great place to grill and an ice machine that made ice shaped like a top hat. It also offered a dock in a no wake zone to tie your boat up. Overall this place was amazing. This was one of the best family vacations we had, and we will definitely be back!
