Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Mangualde

The place was basic and clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. I was shown around before handed the keys. Parking is free around the apartment but tight so be careful with hire cars (mine was scratched). It's about a 10min walk into the town area, there is a great family run restaurant to the right of the apartment and a few bars nearby. The nearest big supermarket is about 3mins drive away.

As fotos não fazem jus à beleza e à área do casarão! Espaço muito bonito, com várias áreas de lazer, pátios interiores, decorado com muito bom gosto! A zona onde está a piscina, (a 500 metros do alojamento, num parque muito bonito) é enorme, com trampolins, baloiços, camas de rede e mesas para refeições. A localização de Juncais é perfeita para passeios a outras localidades da Serra. Adorámos!

Place is great in a quiet location in the countryside with good ammenities including pool and outdoor seating. The third bed option could be a bit more comfy (pull out bed) but otherwise everything was wonderful. João is a really friendly host and allowed us to pick blueberries for breakfast which were delicious. Recommend staying here!

Vasco tem um excelente espaço para estadia e lazer. Quintal completo com churrasqueira e piscina é ótimo para momentos em família e com amigos. Casa perfeitamente limpa, ótimas casas de banho e cozinha bem equipada. Vista linda para a Serra da Estrela e não muito distante desta. Super recomendado.

Local ideal para repor as energias. A área da piscina é ótima para relaxar. A casa é confortável e tem tudo o que é necessário. A D. Teresa é muito simpática e está sempre disponível para ajudar. Recomendo.

The place was better than expected. Joao and Susana make sure you feel at home, weither it is in communication or in the well equipped house with attention to detail. (In real everything was more beatiful than in the pictures). The farm is situated in between small hills, far from city busyness into a calm oases. We recommend taking a walk up the hill behind the house untill the top, it's an easy walk with an amazing view. You need a car to get there, for dinner you would have to drive 15-30 minutes (or ofcourse cook at home). Google often says a place is open, but often it is not :) Susana can give you the right places. There were cats walking around which was a big plus for us. They show you the way around a bit and they ofcourse like the attention. Unfortunately for us the weather was too cold for a good swim, but the pool is quite big and we would love to return to try it for a little bit longer ;)! We were surprised by this place in a good way, it's another beautiful part of Portugal and staying at Joao and Susanas place, makes it perfect.

Foi uma estadia fantástica, num espaço diferente mas muito acolhedor e perfeito para fugir à cidade. A casa era linda e todas os espaços comuns também. A piscina ótima e perfeita para relaxar com privacidade e no meio da natureza. Obrigada ☺️

Foi uma estadia muito agradável! A casa é muito bonita e fica numa aldeia espetacular e no meio da natureza. Ótimos acessos para mercados e restaurantes perto. Casa ideias para férias em família e com amigos. Recomendo

Nous avons passés un séjour exceptionnel dans ce lieu paradisiaque. À notre arrivée, Olinda avait eu la douce attention de nous préparer des petits gâteaux qui nous attendaient sur la table. D'une bonté sans nom, des belles histoires à raconter, des recommandations... notre seul regret a été que le séjour se termine. Le logement est parfaitement adapté pour un couple et 4 enfants, la piscine naturelle est agréable et offre une très belle vue. Merci encore nous espérons vous revoir !

Séjour très agréable ; très bon accueil de Viriato et de sa maman , cadeaux de bienvenue avec bonne confiture , fromage de la région . Maison avec piscine, isolée dans les collines , au calme avec vue sur les montagnes . Ideal pour le chien ! Très satisfait.

A lovely house well located for Serra da Estrela - we drove from there on a very winding road to Manteigas and then on to Torre at the top. Good equipment in the kitchen for cooking. A nice lounge on the lower ground floor. Layout has entrance with double bedroom ensuite on ground floor with additional bathroom, first floor has second double and bathroom, dining room through to kitchen, then further beds in attic at the top. It works pretty well overall. Lovely and quiet with great views from the bedrooms across the valley. Comfortable, good sized beds. Clean and the Christmas decorations were a nice touch, thanks for a lovely stay

Susana was so helpful and welcoming. The village is perfect for a calming, peaceful stay. We had everything we could have wanted and more. The bathroom and kitchen are very well appointed and clean, the dining and living area comfortable, cozy and warm in the evenings, the views from the terrace are stunning and the beds were very comfortable. Perfect if you want to be in nature, surrounded by fruit, flowers and trees with big sky and beautiful vistas. Would recommend a car to stay here. We had an amazing stay and we’ll be going back!

Everything was perfect! The jacuzzi and the wood-burning stove were undoubtedly the highlights of the house! The house was very cozy, impeccably clean and well-equipped.The peaceful surroundings were perfect for a stroll and exploring the area. Angelina and Dominic were incredible—always available, kind, and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The home baked minicroissants of the breakfast were delicious! We truly appreciated their warm hospitality and attention to detail. We will definitely be coming back!!
