Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mansfield

Our large extended family (5 adults, 3 children and one dog) had a wonderful stay at Rosedale. It was absolutely perfect for our needs and was warm and cosy with many thoughtful touches. The gardens are beautiful and the setting perfect, just a short cycle ride from Mansfield and a perfect to end our family trip along the Great Victorian Rail Trail.

'Micks place' - what a great space! Short walk to the local "Tatong Tavern' which is awesome for a drink and a meal. Furniture and style is welcoming and it all still looks like new. The beds are really comfortable as are the kitchen chairs. Excellent amenities and nice and clean We loved it, we will be back Trace and Co.

We had such a wonderful stay at Two Rivers Lodge in Acheron. So quiet, peaceful, homely and relaxing. The property was beautiful inside and out. I think I found my happy place here. My family and I will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful night stay at Paul’s tiny house. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning views of the countryside. Paul is a lovely host, very welcoming and easy to communicate with, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The tiny house itself was spotless and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Although there is one other tiny home on the property (around 15 metres away), it still felt private and secluded. We loved waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature and taking in the lovely outlook from the deck. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a charming country escape.

Lovely place very clean. Surrounding very relaxing and quiet. Loved the fireplace giving it a cosy feel.

Bonnie Doon is already a absolutely great destination & Petes hideaway particularly was the best hideaway with the lot ive ever stayed at maybe our host Ryan had much to do with that too.thanks Ryan I left you a small list off your grocery things we used & ran out off. thanks to your welcome chat. We stayed for two weeks and really enjoyed our time—the home is beautifully curated, cosy, and well-equipped. It felt like a home away from home, which is why I’m still giving 5 stars. That said, for the price, we expected more. The house wasn’t cleaned to a high standard—we had to wipe down the fridge, cutlery drawers and dusty surfaces on arrival. Roadworks outside disrupted access and caused loud noise, with no notice given, and the back door didn’t lock securely—both issues that should have been communicated or resolved. There’s also only one aircon/heater in the lounge, which left the rest of the house cold during our winter stay. Plug-in heaters were provided for bedrooms (and needed), but bathrooms remained icy. The house itself is lovely, but housekeeping and property management let it down. Some better communication and accountability would really lift the guest experience.

Wonderful place to stay We were lucky enough to have warm weather so spent the whole time down in/ by the river. The kids and adults loved the location. Everything we needed was there and the large dining table seated 10 comfortably. Just be aware sprinkler system goes on where the seating area is so don’t leave towels or anything overnight Will definitely be on my top list of holiday spots to revisit

It was great to stay at Kerrin’s cottage. The place has breathtaking views for sunset and is very close to Great Victorian Trail. Absolutely loved staying here.

Wonderful winter stay at Upper Lurg. 3 couples could not have loved the house more on a cold weekend. Facilities and space were amazing with everything you could need. The pool looked a bit cool at 7 degrees but we could see outdoor summer entertaining being amazing, the spaces, the outdoor cooking area all looked amazing, was ready to crank up the pizza oven. If only the chickens were laying eggs. The location was amazing for the King Valley Wineries. Easy drive to all the Valley. Will plan another visit.

Really nice place, incredibly comfortable bed and great range of pillows for people like me finicky about pillows. As we were there in the dead of winter, a very effective heater was also a pleasure to get back to. Veronica’s home-made muesli was a great treat too and it was a pleasure meeting her. Definitely would stay again.

Great weekend at Mansfield. The property was lovely, big enough for all 9 of us we felt we could relax and had no issues, the whole family including grandkids enjoyed the experience. Pool was great after a day on the boat at lake Elidon Overall terrific weekend away .

Great peaceful place in the forest, the ride to the place was bumpy but other than that everything was fine

Karen's place is truly amazing. The apartment is modern , comfortable, clean and very private. It was kept warm inside day and night (ceiling duct heating) in entire apartment. That was fantastic considering winter temperatures. We found everything what we needed during our stay. The fire pit outside gave us a special atmosphere at night , and the open view up to horizon night allowed us to admire sunrise and sunset. It was amazing.we also loved company of 2 golden retrievers and calfs behind the fence. All of these made our stay very relaxing and special. Please accept our big thank you, Karen.

We enjoyed very much our stay at the 3BlackSHEDS. The accommodation is very neat and clean; the bed is cosy; and the place is peaceful. On top of these, Alan and Rowena got everything well prepared for a comfortable holiday away from home, yet just like at our own home. We love the food and beverages they supplied for breakfast: fresh, nutritious and delicious. The communication with them is also great, too, as Alan alway responded promptly and provided the supplies, answers and information we needed. All these reflected that Alan and Rowena are the caring and thoughtful host who made our holiday extra enjoyable.

A lovely place with gorgeous surroundings. We loved the rooms and while it was very cold the heating worked great. One of the fuses tripped a few times but Michelle was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend for anyone wanting some peace and quiet in a lovely area.

Stayed a few times here now, always peaceful. Lovely.

Yuchen’s place was terrific for a weekend away with a group of friends. It was supplied with everything we needed and the lake was so nice to enjoy with our kids. We had a wonderful time. Yuchen was also very happy to answer any questions I had about the property. Thank you.

The house was every bit as described, it felt like a home away from home. Tim was inviting and accepting of pets, most say they are but have massive restrictions in place, Tim allowed us to have our fur family member included in the whole experience. I can not reccomend this accomodation enough.

Andrews place was amazing we had a great time exploring around the vic high country and always had a warm dry and comfortable place to come back to.

Beautiful home, great location and easy communication with the host! Would definitely stay here again for another ski trip!
