Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Manzanillo

We had such a great stay here! The space is lovely and the surroundings felt so peaceful. Meg was a great host and would recommend!

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our two night stay. The location is secluded away from the hassle and bustle of Puerto Viejo but close where you can take a Tuk Tuk or bike ride (easy to rent nearby) to the center. Playa Chiquita is the closest beach but you can also visit Cocles and Punta Uva (our fave). The Airbnb has all the amenities you need and the host, Stephanie, was very responsive. We hope to return to this hidden oasis soon!

Wonderful place to stay in Puerto viejo. Everything is in walking distance and the cahuita national park and manzanillo Refugio are just 20-30min by car. Our host was very nice and reacted very quickly and relaxed when we locked us out one time 😅 I can only recommend this place to everyone wanting to stay in the area.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Sie liegt mitten im Grünen mit toller Aussicht in die Natur. Die Faultier und Affen konnten wir von der Terasse aus beobachten. Es ist ruhig, sicher und alle Ziele in Puerto Viejo sind gut erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist toll aufgeteilt, sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Bei Fragen gibt es auch eine sehr nette Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort. Das Highlight der Wohnung ist die schöne Terasse und die praktische Küche. Wir haben uns rundherum sehr wohl gefühlt, es war wie nach Hause kommen. Wir können die Unterkunft für einen schönen Aufenthalt in Puerto Viejo nur empfehlen und werden bestimmt mal wieder kommen. First time in Costa Rica, and I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was attentive, and the beach house was more than expected. The private beach was less than 2min away, and breathtaking. The included breakfast was disappointing at first: fruits, bread, butter and jelly, but it was filling. I loved the guava jelly, and my boyfriend enjoyed the fruit. I would recommend this to anyone looking for privacy, tranquility, and nature. Best place to stay on the Caribbean coast.

Erin and her husband are incredibly warm and welcoming people who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The house is beautifully laid out, especially for a family with young children and perhaps grandparents as well. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are conveniently located close together on the lower level, and there is another bedroom with a private bathroom upstairs. There are two spacious terraces — one on the ground floor and one upstairs — perfect for doing yoga or meditation while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The pool and house offer complete privacy, which made our stay feel truly relaxing and secluded. At the same time, it’s reassuring to know that Erinn and her husband live nearby, always available to help or offer great local tips. Both are incredibly kind and helpful. The pool is fantastic — you can keep an eye on the kids. We felt incredibly comfortable and were warmly welcomed by Erinn and her husband. We will definitely come back on our next visit!

Beautiful home. Dawn, the host and owner, lives downstairs and she was incredibly kind and helpful. Pictures don’t do the home justice - it’s stunning - with an incredible yard. Used the pool and meditation deck daily, both of which were amazing.

Un lugar paradisíaco, muy privado , limpio, una hermosa experiencia con la naturaleza da mucha paz el poder disfrutar de los árboles,animales , la lluvia.. Recomiendo el lugar .. y yo segure llevando amigos a que vivan esa experiencia.

Excelente ubicación, cerca de restaurantes, supermercados, playa y tranquilo. La casa esta muy bien equipada, limpia y todo funcionó muy bien excepto el televisor. Jose el anfitrión, muy colaborador y amable

For us this was one of the best experiences we ever had on Airbnb. Nice, spacious house with a large porch and balcony. Aurelia welcomed us at the house and made us feel at home right away. The house is only a ten minute walk away from the beach (Playa Negra) - perfect. In the garden you find a spacious and well-maintained pool - great to cool off. Best of all though - in the very same garden you find lots of different species of wildlife. We had many different types of birds including some beautiful hummingbirds, howler monkeys, agutis and even a number of poison dart frogs - normally very hard to spot in the forest. Basically you can just sit on the porch and wait for the animals to come by - great experience. If we get the chance we’ll definitely come back … Thanks again Amelia for being such a kind host …
