Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mariagerfjord Municipality

My Family and I stayed here for 4 nights for a family wedding, everything was perfect. The house is very spacious the host is quick to respond to any questions I would definitely recommend especially to a larger group of people who are visiting Aalborg

We had a fantastic stay, really cozy and charming old house, in fantastic surroundings, it was totally balm for the soul to be there, I can really recommend it, and we also had our 3 year old son with us and he was also absolutely wild about it. If we need accommodation around Viborg again another time, it is the first place we will look for if it is available again another time 🤩

Hanne's home is a cozy place far out in the countryside with lots of space, good bedrooms, spacious living rooms, and a well-stocked kitchen. Beautiful views, lovely garden and huge activity room. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility. We enjoyed an extended weekend despite sustained rain ☺️ Hanne was super helpful every step of the way. Linda Bertelsen

We had a wonderful vacation at Børge's. The house is wonderfully quiet, so we could completely relax. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and very well equipped. The terrace is fantastic. You can walk very quickly to the harbor. Børge was easy to reach as he lives next door in the house. A very kind person. We will definitely be back!

An incredibly beautiful place, with huge bolting space for the kids. Short distance to the beach and Djurs summerland.

Elin was super welcoming and hospitable. If you are looking for a quiet environment far out in the countryside, the farm is the perfect place - and Elin is a very sympathetic and lively host. We will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay with Hanne in her lovely cottage in the middle of the beautiful surroundings of Dollerup Bakker. The cottage is cozy, well-equipped and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. But what really makes the place unique is the stunning view from the wooden terrace - a breathtaking panoramic view of hills and forests that you will never get tired of looking at. Hanne was a warm and welcoming host, who made us feel very welcome from start to finish. A really wonderful experience - we will be happy to come back!

A lovely place, with tranquility and nature, right outside the window. Helle and René are extremely welcoming and we felt welcome. We brought 2 dogs, and they also felt welcome. They used the area as it was their own. We'd love to come again.

As you can already see from the pictures, this is not a top modern vacation home, but a slightly older one - but with charm! Before we arrived, Gert had already thrown on the fireplace and the heater and it was freshly mopped. As already described in other comments, there are radiators in the bedrooms, which were ready there. You have to be careful not to have heaters and dishwasher running at the same time, because then the fuse often flies out. However, there were enough replacement fuses on site, so we had no problem. Best we found the location of the holiday home! The garden/property is large and well screened. You can walk to the fjord in a few minutes and take a great walk there. It was also an advantage for us that over New Year's Eve there was hardly any fireworks etc, which the three dogs were very happy about. The communication with Gert was straightforward and very friendly :)

Jan was super proactive. Provided us with great tips and the cottage is just so incredibly beautifully located. Quiet and with a fantastic view. We had great days and will definitely be back! Many thanks to Jan for everything!

a beautiful place, right on the water and forest. The cottage was functionally furnished, and had everything you need to spend a few carefree days. With a dog, it's a perfect place to let your mind wander. Everything is in harmony with nature, simply fantastic. Only the beds could be a little more comfortable🫣. But we felt very comfortable and welcome, and are already planning the next visit. Thank you for letting us be in this enchanting place.

Everything was very nice

A particularly welcoming summerhouse, with lovely decor. There were all things you could want during the holiday, such as lots of outdoor furniture, barbecue and kitchen utensils, Chromecast, etc. However, we found the beds to be of poor quality, which challenged sleep during our stay. We want to come back because of the charm and possibilities of the house.

Inside theblack cabin : a whirlpool and tastefully decorated living quarters with fireplace . Outside: Swimming-pool . All around :marshes , woods , dunes and beaches full of wildlife . Very family-friendly .
