Monthly Rentals in Mariato District

The two greatest things about Fernanda’s place are Fernanda and Torio. Fernanda is a wonderful host; responsive, proactive and updated us with timely opportunities for eating out and exploring. She had fresh coconuts waiting for us and a bbq that easily handled two big racks of baby back ribs and shrimp. Both delightful as there is not a great diversity of good/fun places to eat, although next time we may bring less of our own food and try more fondas. Torio maintains much of its agricultural/fishing culture and thus was a delightful respite from places like Playa Venado and other regions of Panama that have lost some of their earlier charm for us. So The combination of Fernanda and Torio makes for a solid 5 plus stars.

The cabaña was my home remote-working for a week, and it was hard to leave. Loved everything about it, especially the whole atmosphere of it, the calmness, all the wood, the colors, the view! and Alice! I have hardly met a friendlier person before, her and her husband even picked me up when I missed the last bus. I would come back just for this cabin.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had. The place had extremely thoughtful details to truly make it feel as if we were at home. For example, there were plenty of towels, a washer/dryer, coffee, ice, fans/AC, broom, comfortable couches, plenty of pillows, etc. I really don’t know what I could have done better to improve my experience because it was really great!!

We stayed for 3 nights at Patricia's place. We were at awe from how much we were able to immerse in nature. We loved the sunrise in the mornings and the thunderstorms in the afternoons. We had everything we needed for our stay, and Patricia and Bob were very friendly. We even went hiking on the near by trails with their 3 dogs! That was the highlight of our stay. Thank you Patricia and Bob for sharing Torio with us!
