Cottage holiday rentals in Marin County

My family had a great stay. This included my 90 year old parents. The location is nice; close to Marshall's restaurants and the view of the Bay is wonderful. We were attending a family wedding just a couple of miles away and this was a great place to be able to kick back when not involved in wedding related activities. Definitely would consider a future stay.

A wonderful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great place for relaxing with the family, no electronics, just plan good conversations and lots of games. The place has everything you need down to the pots and pans, coffee makers, and the beds were better than any 5 star hotel! Excellent for our needs on this trip. Thank you!

What a beautiful place to stay! It has everything you need and is steps away from Sonoma Plaza , full of fun shopping and dining! The host was so nice and everything was very clear and easy. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful house with a spectacular view! Watch the sunset and fall asleep to the gentle sound of the ocean. Incredible hiking / running just out the front door. Kids (aged 10-15) loved the glamping tent! Wonderful hosts did everything possible to make our stay perfect.

We loved staying at the Dipsea Cottage. It’s a beautiful, calming, and comfortable space. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the beach, restaurants, playground, and shops. We look forward to coming back here again!

Great neighborhood. Back yard was beautiful. It was also private, for being in a neighborhood. Kitchen was stocked minimally, but enough for the basics. Master bed was so soft, it didn’t have enough support for us. The other bed was very firm, but too tall for my wife to get on.

My husband and I (along with our 6 month old and our dog) enjoyed a perfect Fathers Day/Birthday weekend at Dennis's cottage! The location couldn't be better - so easy to grab provisions or a quick bite around the corner at the general store, and amazing to be able to walk to the beach in just a few minutes. The cottage is cozy - just the right size for two adults and a dog - with everything you need. Having a washing machine was extra convenient, and the balcony and fire place made for relaxing evenings. We love Dillon Beach and are so happy we found this place! Don't hesitate to book :)

Very comfortable quiet and warm

We had a wonderful time at Kathleen’s cottage. It was so close to the beach that we were able to take a sunset stroll every night. The cottage itself is so cute and warm and welcoming. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay at Valerie’s place! I truly can’t say enough good things about it. The place itself was perfect for us. The kitchen and bathrooms were so well appointed, everything was absolutely spotless, the beds were comfortable, and it was wonderful to have a private backyard. Valerie was so responsive and kind. She thought of absolutely everything, and we were so grateful for her flexibility with our checkout time. We will definitely be coming back!

This sweet little artist cottage was just perfect. Mindy has put a lot of effort and energy in making sure there are so many things available for her guests: Kitchen Staples, along with different kinds of coffee and coffee makers. There were fresh eggs and beautiful chocolates, and so much more which made our stay extra special. The cottage is surrounded by a small yard and lovely trees. There is a dedicated parking spot, which was so nice. Very quiet, clean, and the furnishings are just beautiful. Will definitely book again. Thank you for being an exceptional host!

Loved our stay! Nice little house, close walk down hill to the beach. Had what we needed to cook and it was clean. The beds are very comfortable.

Jon and Priscila are very friendly and helpful. Their place is probably the best place I have ever been. Extremely clean and comfortable home. Really enjoyed this stay, will definitely come back again. The surrounding is very quiet and beautiful.

This cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway with me and my partner. We were able to walk to the beach with our surfboards in less than 10 minutes. The outdoor porch was nestled amongst so much greenery and made for the perfect AM coffee spot. The outdoor shower was luxurious and the studio was cozy for watching movies in bed at night. Would def recommend to another couple looking for an easy getaway at the beach!

The school house was more than we could have ever expected. It took our breath away the second we pulled up to the property. The kids loved walking up the long drive way and exploring the tree grove. Everywhere we looked there was something even more beautiful to discover. The house itself was stocked and cozy. We felt at home immediately. Steve's place is very well-organized. The design and layout is very intentional, like a good host that anticipates and meets your needs and questions as they arise. The bedroom was very quiet, we couldn't hear any road noise or the neighboring rooster. We felt the home exceeded our expectations and will return.

This is a great little stay right outside of San Francisco the location is a great area very private very quiet tons of cute plants the house was super clean neat very organized very clean bathroom overall this is a great stay and totally worth it Infact I think it should be more it’s super cute private parking and even friendly cats that come to visit in the morning, if you meet chase she’s super friendly and loves to be petted

What a super convenient location for our needs between Ross, Mill Valley, San Fran and Sonoma activities. Mona dropped by at our convenience and gave us a quick very informative overview. Such a kind human! Worked perfectly for our family over Thanksgiving. In floor heating takes awhile to heat, but we managed just fine. Mona spoiled us with amazing coffee…..many thanks! Enjoy this wonderful location.

You won't find a more peaceful place for a getaway. If you sit in the rocker on the front porch and look out a the mini vineyard, the view will mesmerize you. If you want a more active stay, downtown Sonoma is only 10 minutes away. The kitchen is well outfitted, and there's a grill out back. The grounds are filled with flowers, there are olive trees lining the property (you'll find olive oil from the fruit of these trees in the kitchen cupboard!). Katherine is a wonderful host: warm and friendly; responsive; thoughtful . There are many nice touches around the house, which is comfortably furnished in all the rooms. Loved this little casita! Felt right at home and private. Loved the deck and the beautiful garden. Short walk to a Michelin rated Mexican restaurant. Short drive to Sonoma square with all the things to do. Will definitely stay here for every trip to wine country!
