Holiday houses in Marion County

So glad to have found David’s place. It was the closest place we could find for an event we were participating in in Marengo. Can’t say we spent too much time at the house except to sleep. But so glad to have the room for the 3 of us when we did. The setting is beautiful. Right on the river. Lots of neat trails to explore!

Annamarie and Jim were incredible hosts and their barn was perfect! The whole family loved it. From climbing up to the tower to playing with the chicks, the dog Mack, and farm cats there was always something to do. We can’t wait to have another trip to Ohio.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cute home! It’s quaint, comfortable and easy access to surrounding parks and restaurants. We will be back!

Only issue I had was the outside key code lock did not work when we got there. Courtney answered call and walked us through it.

What a great addition to downtown Marion! The True was extremely clean; even the couches were vacuumed. The apartment was very nice and had great finishes. They had laundry in the hall. Everything was labeled and easy to find. The king bed is a comfortable foam mattress. The only difficult thing was the stairs are steep, much like any old building around here, but don’t let that deter you if you’re able bodied. There is an LED billboard outside the lofts, but the room darkening curtains are more than sufficient to block it out. If you are traveling with a little one, there is plenty of space in the bedroom for a pack and play. The Archive Lofts are within walking distance of a bunch of cool places like a great coffee shop. The parking lot for The Archive Lofts is one of the main parking lots for accessing a lot of the fun stuff downtown so you’re definitely in the heart of downtown Marion. We will definitely be booking here again for all future trips to visit my family in the area!

Great quiet place to getaway as a couple, yet enough room for a family if wanted. The river was gorgeous and peaceful sitting out on the back porch and the hot tub was clean and hot!

This is one of my fav AirBnBs ever! Beautiful house that is charming, serene, warm, and welcoming. Juli was always helpful, responsive, and flexible. We were there for some sad family events, and it was so wonderful to return back “home” to this amazing location. We truly didn’t ever want to leave! Thanks so much to Juli for making a difficult time much easier to deal with!
