Experience how it feels to live in a typical dutch (Holland) village! We, Peter and Lia, live here for about 25 years with our family. We are carpenters and we sell our handmade furniture in our own small shop at our property. We made our guesthouse "De Gortla". We love to travel and be in our garden (as you can see). In the old core of Hindeloopen is a fisherman's cottage (34m2) that has been converted into a comfortable studio that is equipped with many comforts. The studio has a king size bed, a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and plenty of storage space. Parking is available at the cottage itself, as long as you have a small car. Otherwise, we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking space at the port. You can store your bicycles in the garden that comes with the guest house.

You can buy the tickets at the VVV (2 minutes from the cottage) Also the Zaanseschans, Volendam and Marken can be reached within 20 minutes. The VVV, baker and the butcher are around the corner and by bike (you can use ours, we have two) you can cycle through the unique environment.
