There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance too and the famous wine producing town of Limoux is a 10 minute drive away. There is a tourist office in the town.

Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. There is a wood stove for the winter. We deliver a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

Wildlife is omnipresent and easy to observe. Numerous hiking or mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Our hamlet enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located 40 minutes from the ski slopes and one hour from the sea.

The estate also welcomes mountain bikers as well as horse riders and their horses.
