Cabin holiday rentals in Marshall

This is our third year coming to Karen’s home and it’s simply amazing. The views and location are stunning. We will definitely be back for year 4 next year!

I wish we could have stayed an entire week! The cabin is wonderful. Cozy, clean, with the right amount of magic to make rustic feel luxurious. Theresa and David are wonderful hosts and stayed in communication during our travel snags and cancelled flights. I am already looking ahead at my calendar and trying to decide when I might be able to return. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful spot.

My wife and I had a great weekend getaway. The house had incredible views from every rooms’ giant picture window, easy access to multiple hiking trails and nearby campsite amenities, and only four minutes away from Hot Springs. We cooked dinners and used the hot tub and had a lovely, romantic few days.

Everything about 13 Dark Hollow was wonderful! The cabin was easy to drive to, with lots of foliage to keep it private outside. The cabin itself was a great blend of rustic with modern conveniences. The kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked some great meals there. The living room had a great automatic fireplace which made relaxing by the fire super easy and carefree! The hot tub and unique shower room made it feel like a spa retreat. Erica and Richard were great hosts and always made themselves available if need be. Overall, I would highly recommend 13 Dark Hollow to my friends and family. Can’t wait to come back! :)

The cabin was just like the pictures; serene and beautiful. The view was absolutely amazing to wake up to. It’s the perfect distance from downtown to where everything is nice and private , but still a quick trip to get to where you need to be. We will definitely be back!

We loved our time at the cabin and would totally come back again. It was uncluttered, super clean, very cozy, the bed was amazing, kitchen stocked with essentials. We cooked our own dinner over the fire and in the stove and it was perfect. We loved the record collection! Such a fun touch. We hope to come and stay again soon.

Shealy and Eddie are wonderful hosts! Their home is beautifully decorated and well-thought out - perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin is peaceful with numerous areas for reading or socializing. We loved our stay. Shealy and Eddie are very responsive and were available throughout our stay. We would love to visit again!

We stayed here as a quiet getaway after a very busy wedding. Charles and Lisa gave us amazing local recommendations and communicated clearly and in advance of what we were to do to check in. The drive to the cabin is not for the faint of heart. The twists, turns and scenery is picturesque, but if you get motion sickness then you better be prepared to take breaks. It is not the easiest to locate or navigate to the cabin especially for a beginner at roadtrips like myself. However, Charles and Lisa gave us amazing detailed instructions which made it a breeze to navigate up through the back roads. Once we arrived we instantly agreed it was worth the drive and sitting on their porch viewing the mountains and listening to only nature and no busy traffic was the best way to escape and rest. Sitting on the porch we did not use bug spray and it was still very enjoyable we just had to go in occasionally as the carpenter bees and gnats were quite active. We highly recommend this as a getaway!!!

The view from the porch was really beautiful, it wasn't a very walkable place though, but it is located on 209, the Rattler Road, famous for it's scenic drive, very popular with motorcyclists. We had some good ping pong matches on the back porch as well. It was good fun

We stayed here during a hike of the Appalachian trail and we're able to get some much-needed rest. It's a small town that shuts down early so the smart TVs and internet were also great to have.

The house is a very cute out in the mountains! The creek in the backyard and the sauna are easily the highlights!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Felt like we were the only ones on the mountain - no cars, no people. I choose this place because of the two recliners. Seating isn't always the most comfortable in some airbnb's. Had the comforts of home. Very communicative host. Will stay again if we travel to the area.

Property (farm) is beautiful and well kept. Cabin is modern, well appointed, very clean and well cared for. Open views of the surrounding mountains, fields, river and farm animals is so nice it almost seems unreal. Note: there is not a full kitchen but instead a make shift kitchenette area with a portable burner, microwave, toaster oven, etc - fine for preparing simple meals. Excellent host. Good, fast, spot-on communication. Overall a quiet, ideal place to get away and relax.

Great tiny home up in the mountains. Lots of privacy, kept very clean. Great view, especially when the mountains got all smokey. The only thing would be if you're a tall guy just know you're going to have a hard time with the shower, it is a tiny home, so kind of expected. 🤣 The Host was great about communicating, and responded in short amounts of time as needed.

The place was simple and clean, perfect for a long weekend getaway with the dogs. The cabin is set up like a studio and was perfect for two adults, there is a loft too but it’s kind of small which wasn’t an issue for us since we didn’t need to use it. The place was very clean on arrival and everything was in working order. The cabin is smaller but it’s cozy and quiet! If you plan to spend most of your time outdoors then this works perfectly as a home base to soak in the hot tub after a long hike and get some shut eye. Neighbors are close by but we never really saw anybody. Asheville is a pretty close drive and there are hikes within 45-60min. The host was very responsive before and during booking. We would definitely stay here again!

Guys, I know airbnbs are in the hospitality business but Chuck and Valda take that concept to new heights! We had delicious homemade strawberry ice cream made by Valda waiting for us in the freezer and incredibly tasty homemade chocolate chip cookies along with a hand written note welcoming us by name. Chuck went out of his way to welcome my wife and I and fill us in on the amazing history of the area. We were sad our stay was way too short but we did take the time to rapel down the hill side to the creek and then take a hike down the old buffalo trail. This place is a must stay if you're ever in the area!

Incredible location and fabulous host! Debra was very kind and quick to respond to all questions. She was very thoughtful and left a surprise for us in the fridge. The water running behind the home was peaceful and the outdoor seating was plentiful. The town of Hot Springs is charming and walkable. There are a few restaurants in town and they were all delicious. Great, short stay here!

We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful area, peaceful surroundings and we loved the screened in porch. The road to the driveway is steep and a little worn down but we had no issues in our small SUV. Great place to watch birds and wildlife.

As we were driving down the driveway to leave my son said ‘that was funner than fun!’ That definitely sums up our time at Sweet Janes! It’s such a wonderful find and cool concept. The whole property was good vibes and it was a perfect weekend getaway. We stayed in Rise and the cabin was wonderful. Even as a family of 5 we all fit easily and comfortably. The cabins were modern and artfully decorated, with a view of the woods. The bed was super comfortable, and usually I have a hard time sleeping in beds that aren’t my own! Lizzie was welcoming and fun to chat with. The community kitchen was really well stocked and lovely to use. I highly recommend a stay at Sweet Janes. We’ll definitely be returning!

Jaclyn’s place was gorgeous. It was exactly as described—spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The view is spectacular. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. The cozy living area made it feel like a home away from home. The host was very communicative and gracious. I would highly recommend the wonderful home.

We had a fantastic stay at Kathleen's "Field House." The location and views are stunning, with the numerous (large) windows really showcasing the mountains from every part of the home. It was super comfortable, quiet, and exactly the mountain getaway we needed. It was also only 15 min drive from the Laurel River trail, which was a wonderful playground for us and our water-loving dog! We're gonna try to plan another trip to come back soon!

It was very peaceful. Loved being out in nature but close enough to the small towns in the area. A lot of places to go for hiking and good restaurants close by

We had the pleasure of experiencing Winter and Spring here and both seasons were so special! If you come during the winter the sky is so beautiful and full of stars through the bare trees. You can sit on the deck, warmed by the fire and gaze for hours. The forest is so quite and peaceful. We had some of the best sleep of our lives here, the beds are perfect. Spring was magical, the trees awakened and almost overnight everything was so lush and green. The sounds of birds during your morning coffee on the deck starts the day off just right. If you are looking for privacy, magic and deep soul healing this is your place! Weaverville is an adorable little town a quick beautiful drive away with many great restaurants. The home has everything you could need and Brenda was always responsive and friendly.

We love this place! Catherine is a wonderful host. She went above and beyond in hospitality and in communicating with us. When we arrived, we found fresh donuts and popcorn from local businesses awaiting us as well as complimentary beverages in the refrigerator. Lovely smelling bath salts and robes provided, made a delightful hot tub experience. The bed, linen and pillows were dreamy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
