Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Large gîte on 1320 m2 surrounded by forest, next to the town hall. House for 12 people maximum for your sole use (not suitable for people with reduced mobility). The Sheepfold – The Laurel

La Bergerie a été entièrement rénovée dans un style traditionnel. Le Laurier et 3 autres gîtes (Thym, Romarin, Mûrier) bénéficient d’une entrée séparée, de la climatisation réversible, d’une vaste loggia avec une vue magnifique et tout le confort moderne. En commun, piscine (14x7) ouverte de mai à septembre, ping pong, baby foot dans un cadre calme et verdoyant. Les propriétaires, présents occasionnellement, occupent une partie privative de la bâtisse avec un accès totalement indépendant.

Welcome to our gîte 'Les Hirondelles' in the Cévennes. Converted in 2016 from an old barn, the property is self-contained and perfect for 5 guests. It has a big swimming pool which is exclusive for your use, completely private and not overlooked. There are also 2 covered outside dining areas and a big, shady yard. There is lots to do in the local area for all ages as well as being within easy reach of the Cévennes National Park and historic sites such as Nîmes, Uzès and the Pont du Gard.
