Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mata de Plátano

My family really loved this place it was very peaceful .You can hear the coqui and roasters .There was a friendly dog that like to come around wich we brought dog food for. My grand daughters loved the pool that was a plus.We met the owner he was very nice.All the beds need a update they are hard and the pillows were very flat.But other than that i would love to stay there again.This house is for people that love nature and the the beautiful coqui and roaster singing everyday.Also the grill was good too and when you want to chill just go relax on the hamaca. Get ready to injoy beautiful PR and its nature.

Our stay was from Friday June 6 to Sunday, June 8th, 2025. Travel group of 14 people. Lawrence is a Super Host that accomoadated all our needs for our stay to be pleasant. He will always be a phone call away if needed. Great in all aspect in maintaenance of the property. Care for the environment as to Energy efficient conservation. Highly reconmend this Super Host and our group was very please with the amenities and blown away with the house. Definately we will come back to this beautifual house, and highly reconmend this property to others.

The place was exactly as described, very clean and welcoming. Amenities for everyone in the group. There was no getting board at this place. The outside kitchen and pool area was a huge plus. We enjoyed every bit of this house. Hosts were extremely helpful and answered within minutes when we had any questions or concerns. This will definitely be our place of choice whenever we return to Puerto Rico!!! Recommend 100%!

One of the best vacations home we had stayed. Fully equipped house with all you may need. Private location, great pool and the patio all around the house. We will definitely recommend this property to everyone. We will come back again.

Our stay at this property was absolutely beautiful! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the pool and the incredibly comfortable bed—it made our trip even more relaxing. Even with the unexpected island-wide power outage, the experience was still amazing. The host was outstanding—super responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond, especially when my son’s birthday ice cream cake was ruined due to the outage. She made sure he still felt special, and that meant so much to us. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. We’re giving it a solid 5 stars and would definitely stay again!

Pedro and Marisol were exceptional hosts from the first inquiry to after we had checked out. They were so attentive and helpful, even sourcing a Christmas meal for my family as we arrived late at night on the Holiday. They had set the table specially for Christmas dinner and their passion and care for the property throughout was evident. It was comfortable, not too much decor and not overly themed. The aesthetics were appropriate for the property while clean and simple. We found the property spotless! The check in process was tricky, until we carefully reread the instructions, where Marisol and Pedro walked us through. I appreciated the security of the property, I was traveling alone with my kids and felt incredibly safe. The kitchen is well stocked, and we made use of the two kitchens for meals at home. Plenty of space to spread out, and the views of el Yunque from the balcony were stunning. The gentleman who came to care for the horses was respectful of our space and no issue.

Alejandro’s place is absolutely beautiful. We loved staying there because it was very close to everything. He was very responsive and assisted in anything we needed. We are planning on returning back to PR soon and will be booking again.

Maria's house is amazing. The house is very modern but cozy. The rain showers are amazing. During a power outage their solar system and backup water tank worked perfectly. The location is secluded but close to supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities. Their response rate is impressive! I would definitely stay here again.

This apartment is great for being able to walk straight to the beach. Also a great place to be able to taken in other sites. You will need a car to get to other places. Wonderful place with a great outdoor space.

This resort was amazing. The views and surroundings were everything!!! The staff on the property were amazing and nice. I really enjoyed my 40th bday here!!

Our first trip to PR and we had a great time. The studio was exactly as described and the resort area was even better than the pictures. 3 pools, one adult only, and the beach area was pristine! Nice golf course on the property. Multiple restaurants on site, we ate at Roots and the food was delicious. We also had lunch by the pools, two different lunch spots/menus and we tried both- excellent food and drinks. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It's across the street from the rain forest so we spent a morning hiking and one morning exploring old San Juan. We also tried a couple of local restaurants and food was great! We definitely recommend getting a car. John was a super responsive host throughout the process. It is part of a resort, Wyndham/ Margaritaville, so even though we had a 4PM check-in we didn't get our room until 5:30. This seems to happen at every resort we go to, so be prepared to wait. We just grabbed some cocktails and snacks by the pool.

Great pools, beach acess, lots of restaurants and things to do on property. Wonderful place& kind host!

Yomary's place was excellent. It was easy to find and conveniently located near restaurants, the beach, and shops. The area felt very safe, and the accommodation had everything you need for a great stay. It was also very clean. Yomary is an outstanding host who communicated exceptionally well throughout my stay. I highly recommend her place; as a host, she deserves a perfect 10/10 rating.

Sheryl was very responsive. There was an oops at the beginning with wrong booking dates but she went out of her way to fix it and made sure I got the booking dates I needed. She made my vacation happen…highly recommend as host! Thank you.

The best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It’s surrounded by nature, it’s absolutely gorgeous, it felt like home, it has everything and more. Loved the sound of nature at night. I loved everything about this Airbnb.

I highly recommend this stay if you are looking to be surrounded by the sound and feel of nature! It is private and in perfect location to all the main attractions and beaches! Amazing food nearby and a very friendly community! The host was very responsive and helpful, they made us feel very welcomed. The property is exactly as described but I promise it will still take your breath away! We loved the view and the pool! We Spent many hours swinging in the hammock! A hidden gem! This rustic cottage in the middle of the countryside but at the same time close to everything was the perfect escape. Surrounded by nature and incredible peace. My stay in this cabin was wonderful! I hope to be back soon!

Eunice's home was the perfect, relaxing basecamp for our time in Puerto Rico. 35 minutes to San Juan, 30 minutes to Piñones & Luquillo, 45 to El Yunque. The last 10 minutes of the drive are up a countryside, we recommend reserving at least a small SUV; our Hyundai Elantra was not a fan of some of the bumps/getting in the driveway. However, the space and amenities 100% make that drive worth it. The pool and outdoor space was amazing and the small, indoor kitchen was just enough. Not to mention we had an intense pickleball tournament and game of horse on the courts on the property! Absolutely recommend!

What a gem! We had an amazing time at this beautiful home. We had to adjust travel plans and booked this last minute. The home was ready (early!) and Eunice was very helpful. The place is charming, relaxing and the has most beautiful views. Only about 25 min from San Juan with some tricky mountain roads at times, but absolutely worth the drive! Eunice was an excellent host with great communication. We loved our experience & hope to return soon.

I had a fantastic stay at Marilyn's Airbnb in Gurabo, Puerto Rico! The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking, and the ambiance is serene and welcoming. Marilyn and her husband Johnny were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. I can't wait to come back and visit again!

A quiet place surrounded by nature. It makes you feel at peace. I asked her to decorate for the birthday celebration and Ashley (the girl who cleans the airbnb) decorated it and every detail I asked her to do was beautiful. Everything was clean, I loved the campfire.
