Monthly Rentals in Matterdale End

Beautiful little place, very cosy and just what I needed after a few days in Lake District camping. Place was very clean, host was great and i definitely would stay again.

I have stayed a couple of times over recent months on the way to and back from Scotland. Such a great find. Lovely place to stay, easy to find and great value for money. Highly recommended. Great communication and really lovely hosts. Thank you Hazel. 🙏

Superhost doesn't capture it. It was such a pleasure to stay at The Byre and lovely to meet Victoria. We can clearly say it was the best Air BnB experience we've ever had. Such care must have gone into the renovation and furnishing of the property, from the large airy upstairs kitchen/diner/living room to the handcrafted live edge furniture. The location in Matterdale End was beautiful. We were even able to go fellwalking directly from the house - just a few feet up to the church, then left onto the public footpath and on up to the top of Sheffield Pike and many more summits from there. We can recommend this Air BnB venue wholeheartedly. Thank you Victoria and Jim!

It was a pleasant stay in Cottage. Too beautiful surroundings and cottage was clean and well set.I will highly recommend if you are going to explore Lake District.
