Hotel holiday rentals in Maui County

The overall experience was good. Michelle had very good communication throughout the process. Check-in was very easy when we arrived. Th unit (2 bedroom) was clean and fairly well equipped. We cooked in several dinners and I had to improvise some but the unit had all the basics I needed. The bedrooms were spacious and once weekly housekeeping service was included to change the sheets, towels, etc so that was very nice and helpful. This Westin location is very easy for families and the pools and beaches were great. There is easy snorkeling right in front of the Westin and even though it was a holiday week during New Year's it didn't feel too crowded. Parking is free and the location is very close to Lahaina town for shopping and restaurants and also Whalers Village shopping. The Westin has a shuttle that runs to both these locations and their other properties so that was also helpful. Overall, I do recommend this location and Michelle's property for a stay in Maui. Only one thing to note about the set up of the 2 bedroom is that there is a little entry and then the unit has a large studio bedroom + sofa + small kitchen + bathroom on one side with its own door/entrance and then the other side has the one bedroom + living area+ larger kitchen + larger bath. This worked great for us as we had 2 teenagers and put them in the studio but if you have young children you might not want them completely separate from you (although I guess you could prop the doors open to each unit).

Great condo. I wish it was a little closer to the ocean but it seems it’s the luck of the draw.

Book now! This is the place to stay when visiting Maui! The resort is incredible, multiple pools, and right on the beach. The sunset from the resort and beach are amazing - picture perfect! Downtown Lahaina is right down the road for shopping and more restaurant options. Jonathan made check in a breeze with the front desk and was great with communication throughout the booking process. Highly recommended staying here!

Ken was super helpful when booking. There was no need to contact him for our stay, as the staff were very accommodating. Our view and stay was beyond expectations. Definitely would love to book again in the future.

We had an incredible 12-day stay at this Airbnb with my wife and our 8-month-old baby! The property was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which gave us such peace of mind traveling with a little one. The location was great —beach is basically steps off the back patio, shops and the boardwalk—making it super convenient for family outings. The space was comfortable, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for an stress-free stay.

The property and the room was great. We would definitely use Phil’s place again. We had a great view from the 3rd floor of the pool area and ocean view. One thing that stood out was the impeccable service, from the bell hop, valet, or calling guest services for additional supplies for the room everybody was so nice and pleasant. Yes, daily valet is free. We asked for extra paper towels, toilet paper, ice, dish soap and all was brought within minutes. The balcony/lanai was also something that stood out from other properties, it was large with chairs, lounger, and table for 4. You also get access to the Hyatt property next door, which is very nice too. You won’t find a better location, close to other great resorts, restaurants and Whalers Village. Phil was very informative and easy to communicate with, great owner. Just an FYI… guests have to pay the Maui occupancy tax, which ours was $29 a day, it’s based on room size.

Was a bit worried staying at this Airbnb without Marriott being able to confirm our reservation at time of booking, but Catalina assured us that the hotel will have our booking info at least 15 days before our arrival. Apart from the anxiety, everything was as described in the listing with the exception of parking being free or included which originally we were informed was extra. Also, there was the hotel tax of some sort which was minimal - about $9 for 3 nights. Biggest reason why we chose this Airbnb was its location. Having stayed at the Sheraton before which is up the road, the Marriott Maui Ocean Club is right on Kaanapali beach where most of the luxury resorts are and close to Whalers village if you’re looking for good food and shopping. Amenities on the property such as the pool and other activities for the kids were a big plus (see hotels website for more details). As for a the host, she was super responsive and answered all our inquiries in a timely manner. 🤩

This hotel was beautiful and very helpful, the airport shuttle was a lifesaver, especially when our flight got pushed back! Would definitely come back again!

The unit was very clean and had a beautiful view of the ocean. It was great to have the amenities of the resort and to be within walking distance of a grocery store, the beach, and a boardwalk which led to other restaurants and activities. We enjoyed our stay greatly and would love to stay again at The Ka’anapali Beach Club.

This is the 3rd time we've visited Kris's condo, the first being 22 years ago. I can't say enough good things about it. The location, in my opinion, is the best on the island. The beach extends south for almost 2 miles before reaching the Wailea property, perfect for walks or jogging. The views are jaw-dropping. There is a reef literally right outside the back door (you can rent snorkeling gear downstairs), where you can see all sorts of marine life. We saw turtles, a couple of eels, plenty of fish, etc. During the winter months, you can watch humpback whales with the naked eye, or use the binoculars that Kris provides. The condo has everything you need for prepping and cooking meals if you choose to. One more thing to add, which is my favorite part about the place.... it's the sound of waves coming ashore no more than 150 feet away. So soothing and peaceful, and perfect for both the start and end of your days there.

Linda was incredible from the start! She was genuinely excited for our vacation as it was the first time we had been to Maui, a surprise birthday gift for my hubby, and last vacay before our first baby! Linda always answered all my questions so fast too! And my lord the room was more than we could’ve ever asked for! The view was fantastic and had us both considering getting our own place! 🙈 we will likely be back!!🫶🏻

Great place, clean, lovely pools and close to ocean. Yang was very responsive and polite; great host. Just know there are additional hotel taxes charged on site at checkout when you are budgeting.

WOW! This was my second time staying at the Kaanapali Ocean Resort and I do not feel like I could ever risk staying anywhere else. I have tried a few other spots around Maui and NOTHING compares to this place. It has the best rooms, best staff, best pools, best snorkeling 10' off the beach, the best of the best. Close walk to Black Rock, dining, shopping, Jet Ski and other excursions. The rooms have amazing beds, showers, bathtubs, kitchens, etc etc etc etc. Do not waste your time looking elsewhere. Both times I have stayed in the South buildings 3 and 4. I don't have much experience with the North buildings and after a quick walk-through, probably would suggest the South buildings. My opinion obviously. I can't wait to go back and plan to contact this exact host for all future trips. Thank you! BTW, this past trip was May 15-19th, I had 8 in my group (we all stayed at this location). Ages were 9-50. SOOOOOO FUN! I've been back one day and already trying to find the next week I can go!

Great and spacious. Ocean view was great and the balcony super cool- we ate all our meals outside. The resort, parking, pool, beaches, and amenities were great as well. We did not have any issues so did not have to contact the host. Good thing to know- you will not be charged resort fees but still have to pay small local tax (about $16/night) upon check in. Would definitely stay again and had an amazing time! Thank you!

The Westin Ocean Villas in Ka’anapali is somewhere we have stayed before, so we are very familiar with the resort and location. What made booking it thru Gayle stand out is her communication ahead of time, suggesting the best rooms to request as well as putting that request in for us, and her reaching out to us to give us activities/restaurants suggestions for our vacation. We had an incredible stay at this resort in Ka’anapali, HI! From the moment we arrived, the host was exceptional—responsive, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The entire staff was incredibly helpful, respectful, and kind. The resort was spotless, and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job of keeping our room fresh and tidy whenever we requested. The amenities were perfect for both kids and adults, with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Whether we were lounging by the pool or exploring the beautiful surroundings, there was never a dull moment. This resort truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back. We stayed at Quyen’s place for our 13th Anniversary, the pictures don’t do the condo justice. It is new and updated with everything you would need to cook including somethings I didn’t think of which was a nice surprise. The condo is right on the beach with beautiful views of the water and islands especially the sunsets in the evening. There are walkable stores and restaurants. We spent a lot of time on the beach..:there were plenty of beach accessories available in the condo (chairs, umbrella, beach bag, etc) Quyen gave us recommendations on things to see and do and made sure that our stay was amazing which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

This location was absolutely stunning and so close to the beach and great restaurants. The whole resort was so lovely with amazing amenities and a big beautiful heated 24 hour pool. If we’re ever in Maui again we would stay here in a heartbeat!
