Miller’s Rest is a self-contained one bedroom cottage with private parking and 2miles from Orton, 5 miles from Shap. The cottage is peaceful with plenty of space and all modern amenities. The bespoke kitchen is well equipped, living room has a log burner effect electric fire for those colder nights. The bedroom has an ensuite shower room and large wardrobe. There is a small stream running alongside the garden lovely for sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine, relaxing and watching the birds.

Unwind in the roll-top copper bathtub, elegantly set upon a mezzanine platform. We are located in a peaceful village, so ask guests to be mindful of noise. Town End Barn is a spacious apartment in the pretty village of Orton. Situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Lake District National park is on the doorstep too. The Lodge is on our 50 acre smallholding so although it is on its own it is not isolated and is within 200m of our farmhouse. Well placed for walking or exploring the quiet Eden Valley, and the Pennines, The Lakes and The Yorkshire Dales are within 30 mins drive.
