Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

My comfortable home overlooks Lake Karapiro. It has superb, uninterrupted, water, mountain and country views from the deck and several rooms. Sunsets can be amazing and you can see it all while relaxing in the outdoor bath. The home is very conveniently positioned to many activities and places of interest eg. Waikato River Trails, Hobbiton, Blue Spring, Arapuni Suspension bridge , Sanctuary Mountain, Karapiro Domain, Takapoto Estate, Riverside Adventures and Red Barn wedding venue

Wabi Sabi Cottage

This peaceful location is a 2 min to Waikato River trails. We are on the reserve so you get a beautiful view of the domain to Maungatautari Mountain. Relax in the bath tub after a day on the trails or visiting the many nearby attractions. The Rhubarb Cafe is a few minutes walk. Arapuni Suspension Bridge is in front of the property, you can hear the river from the deck. Jones Landing, Lake Karapiro, Lake Arapuni, Maungatautari Mountain, and Blue Springs are all a short drive.

Hillside Cottage

Nestled between grassland and trees, this guest house is the perfect place to soak up New Zealand’s beautiful nature. Relax watching the birds and scenic hills or get hands on with the family pets. You can feed the alpacas or visit the chicken to collect some eggs. There is always a spare paddock for horsey people visiting the area and plenty of room to park a trailer or boat. We are located 10 min away from Hobbiton, Karapiro lake and 15 min from Cambridge town centre.
