Beachfront holiday rental in Mauritius

We have just returned to the UK after a 14 day vacation in the villa. We had a fantastic holiday the villa is beautiful inside and out. Perhaps our favourite area was the veranda. Its wraps around the villa and has many different seating areas. We spent most evenings out there. Garry is an amazing host he met us at the villa and showed us around also providing great information about Mauritius eating out beaches etc. He kindly allowed us to check out a little later. We ate out at Le Meridian and Revive several times they are local and within walking distance. Friendly staff and excellent food. La Voglia Matto Pizza eat in or takeaway is worth a visit. We were two in the house for 14 days and enjoyed the stay very much. We liked the house itself, the huge great garden, the large pool, the location with a view of the sunset every evening, especially the warm contact with Andy and his family. They always responded immediately when we had questions and everything was answered promptly and solutions were found. It should also be mentioned that the house is equipped with a mosquito net and can be ventilated at any time. The rental car will find a parking space directly in front of the house. There are both Euro plugs available in addition to the usual UK sockets, so adapters are not necessarily needed, but Andy would have had them for us. Besley, who takes care of the house, pool and garden, and lives next door, was also always helpful. So for us everything was great and we can highly recommend the house and thank everyone involved for the beautiful time in Mauritius. Andrea and Rudolf

A nice and big studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, if you want to go to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a little louder. Earplugs can help. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

Great stay spend in rodrigues with the host Jean Louis excellent welcome accommodation super well located ..a big thank you to Jean Louis as well as to his sister who welcomed us very very well...small surprise also offered by Jean Louis ..I highly recommend this grass! We'll be back very soon.!

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

We had a very pleasant stay at Belle Haven ! We took full use of the two of the three balconies for breakfast and dinner or just to relax. The penthouse was very nice with some stunning views on the sunset. The equipment and facilities were just as described. Parking is really easy on front of the building woth lots of free spaces. The communication was just exemplary and always on point. Thank you ! We will recommend this place or possibly come back.

The place is huge and spacious. They have cleaner that clean the house every day. Host is easy to communicate and very responsive. Highly recommended

Such a nice place and right by the dock where you can book activities like 5 islands tour. People managing the place just downstairs were really lovely and helpful too, a couple of tiny issues were fixed really quickly and everyone was very responsive - would really recommend staying here!

I have been back home for two weeks, and I am still in awe of my experience; it was truly amazing. I woke up every morning to a beautiful view of the beach and the pool on the property. The food was fantastic, the people were wonderful, and Sally was outstanding. I left Mauritius with new friends, and I would definitely return and love to stay at Sally's place again. While Sally’s pictures are lovely, the place is even more impressive. I genuinely felt at home and at peace during my stay. It was bittersweet when it was time to go. We had an 8 PM flight, so we spent some time at the pool and then sat on the balcony until 4:30 PM when our ride arrived. If you are considering this destination, please do not hesitate. If you are looking for a place to stay, look no further!

The villa exceeded our expectations. The pool with its stunning sea view was absolutely breathtaking, and the entire stay was perfect from start to finish. The villa was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with daily cleaning provided by a kind and helpful lady who took great care of us. The beach was quite coral, so I recommend bringing water shoes. Overall, we were absolutely delighted and I would definitely love to come back in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Stayed for 1 night, amazing place really clean and tidy, good location. The host Hugo is extremely friendly and helpful. Will recommend for anyone looking for a good clean place with really nice pool and view. 👍👌👌

We spent a great holiday in the ground floor Black reef apartment. The apartment is huge & well equipped. Kitchen includes all stuff you need to cook, from pots & pans to microwave & cooking machine. There is a huge fridge, coffee device and all tableware you need. The bedroom is nice and big, as well as bathroom that includes shower & bath tube. Everything is clean and very well preserved, exactly like in the photos. The terrace is opening to the sea and beach, that is very clean, too. There is a heated pool in the garden that is shared with tenants of the other two floors. The beach is nice but rocky, you can go into the water in front of the villa, but is better to use one of the very nice public beaches that are in walking distance. There is a supermarket where you can find almost everything & a very nice beach club (Le Plage) in 10 minutes walking distance and few restaurants closer. Communication was easy with both owner and local responsible person. Everything was perfect & top!

The place consists in a small bungalow in a big garden with a pool. Inside are the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom while outside are covered living and dining "rooms". The inside is very well-equipped. We have never seen such a small place so crammed with all sorts of useful equipment such as a Nespresso coffee maker (capsules provided) and a lot more, so the concept of the house is really good. The outside is also very cozy, perfect for breakfast, sipping a rhum after dinner or simply relaxing with a good book. You can park the car in the garden. A huge plus is that the beach is only a few minutes walking away and you get good snorkeling right out of the beach (beware of the currents). An outside shower is available in the garden as well as drying lines. The corresondence with Elodie and Laurent was very good and helpful. Altogether a great place. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place! Absolutely everything we dreamed about when planning the holiday and decided to visit Mauritius for the first time in our life. Catherine was so sweet to us and did everything for us to feel at home. 20 seconds to an amazing beach with crystal clear water almost just for ourselves. The apartment is super nice and the kids just loved spending afternoons in the pool, after beach. André also helped us to get in contact with a local car rental who picked us up and brought us to Port Louis and back so the “left-side-driving” shouldn’t be such a thing for me when driving on our own. ;) This couple and that place is just fantastic. We’re so glad that we stayed at Andrés and Cathy’s place! Feels like we got ourselves some new friends and we’re absolutely going back soon. / Daniel & Sandra and the boys!

Anne and Jean Pierre's place is quietly located on the small island. We were welcomed by the sounds of nature and felt right at home. The kitchen is fully equipped and contains everything you need. The view in the day and at night is incredible, the starry sky, the bay, the birds. We were even allowed to see glowing organisms in the water one evening. We highly recommend the place to nature lovers.

Wonderful, clean, cosy and very practical in terms of location. Ample parking and great maid service was offered. Would stay again without any hesitation.

the place is ideally located a few steps away from the beach . The house is modern and clean and very functional, nicely decorated and spacious. The outside area is enjoyable at any time of the day thanks to the protected veranda. Nice to have a shower and a water point to be able to rinse and hand stuff from the beach . Airconditioning in each room makes even the hottest nights cool - even though it was not always necessary. Good supplier of kitchenware. The beach is good for kids and water sports, always very quiet even on the busiest days. no noise from neighbors or road as the location is secluded enough. If back to Mauritius, we will be back!

Our stay at Regine’s and Marina’s place was beyond our expectations! We were pleasantly surprised how good the location of this accommodation is. The house is beautiful and has a private access to the beach with great snorkeling! Marina and Regine provided us all the information that we found very useful and helpful! We cannot recommend this accommodation enough and it was our pleasure to be their guests. If you are planning coming to Mauricius you should definitely consider booking this place, because our experience was perfect!:) Thank you Marina and Regina for everything.

Wonderful apartment with exceptional views. Apartment clean on arrival and it's nice to have the cleaning done some days during the stay. Unfortunately, there was an electrical problem in the building which made it impossible to use the elevator, but this does not detract from the beauty of the accommodation.

Stayed here during our holiday to Mauritius, we wanted a night on the west coast for the sunset and you can see that without leaving the balcony. Ms Sheela showed us around and explained everything. Lots of lovely little homely touches like beer in the fridge and soft drinks, toiletries, and even binoculars even to try and spot whales/ dolphins. Patio is huge plenty of space , hosts replied to messages promptly and always answered any questions. Ms sheela and pothano were very accommodating and adaptable to any amendments throughout. We would 100% recommend and happily stay here for a full holiday.

Absolutely loved staying at Antonio's apartment! The view of the ocean from the balcony is spectacular. The apartment is new and kept exceptionally clean. Loved cooking in the kitchen which was well stocked in utensils for all our cooking needs - this is a rare find as most self catering accommodation lacks all cooking essentials. The quality of kitchen utensils was exceptional for a holiday stay, which I personally enjoyed. Antonio is fast to respond to any questions. Also loved the local hospitality of Isabelle and Yanick. This apartment was definitely a home away from home in its comfortably!

My family and I had a fantastic two-night stay at Zaheer’s place, and it was worth every penny! Zaheer is an incredibly friendly and accommodating host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect—steps away from an almost private beach, with tons of restaurants nearby and exciting spots like Rochester Falls to explore. The outdoor jacuzzi was a delightful bonus, perfect for unwinding after busy days filled with activities. The house itself is comfortable, ideal for relaxing after hours spent outdoors. With so much to do in the area, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Great location. We loved the privacy of the place, with the beach in front of the garden. The area is not touristic, which we liked (we had a rental car). Geraldine is a nice host, we had good contact.
