We had a fantastic stay. Staff is amazing, food was good, friendly and clean rooms with attention to detail.

Superb quiet villa with garden typical of the island in a pretty residence with caretaker, pool and tennis The hosts make everything available for the stay, the amenities and the bathroom are tops Excellent value for money because villa + internet+pool+housekeeper 30/20 in Brenda who welcomed us with a smile and conviviality and who cooks good Indian and Mauritian dishes perfectly. We'll be happy to go back!

A great stay in a family and warm atmosphere. The outdoor communal hall with a magnificent sea view. Simple, healthy and reassuring meals. Hosts who are present and on the lookout. Thank you for this 3 night stay.

Great value for money! Very responsive and professional host, accommodation close to the airport, nice little pool and breakfast included very decent. Only small downside, the floor is the room to be cleaner, the rest was fine.

The accommodation in the Dodolalodge was very nice and corresponds to the description and the photos. Christian is a great and friendly host who is always available with advice and support. Also a car rental was possible without any problems. The lodge is quietly located in a side street, to the beautiful beach and some restaurants it is a 5-10 minutes walk. There is also a supermarket nearby.

The house is in a very good location. Jean Pierre is a very welcoming host and prepares a great breakfast. Possibility of playing tennis and squash as well.

For a first time in Rodrigues… Mrs. Priya received us, able to respond to our requests. The accommodation of La Fouche is located in a crossroads where it is very well served by bus for travel in the 4 corners of the island. The cuisine served every night with local dishes was “tasty and delicious”. Present, friendly, smiling, kind, she gave us plenty of addresses that made our stay very pleasant. We will also not forget all the little touches she had on us. Thank you Priya and see you soon.

We stayed for 5 days with family fantasies, and we will keep with us the memory of this superbly pleasant couples, attentive to others. They built their guesthouse, a second home. Friendly report, very good advisors to get to know the island. Dinners are excellent(Rodriguez meal).

Excellent stay with Zoé, very welcoming and always available. Very hearty breakfasts, and always accompanied by surprises. Likewise, varied evening meals, and accompanied by gourmet desserts. We are very satisfied with this stay, and we would recommend it in a second.

My other planned stays in Mauritius were at large resorts and I was apprehensive that I may not be comfortable or engaged at this cozy spot. However, deciding to stay at The Good Life was a fantastic decision and led to some of the most memorable experiences I had on my (solo) trip. Antoine and his wife were warm and welcoming; he provided me with numerous resources, information and assistance. Above and beyond. My sole minor complaint was the unavailability of air-con during the (hot, humid) days. I appreciate the effort to be eco-friendly, but if you intend to spend time in the room, this is something to consider. That said, both the breakfast area and bungalows are cheery, bright, modern and spotless. The pool and gardens are magical - an absolute oasis. There are numerous thoughtful touches in the design of the rooms, delicious, fresh meals, solicitous service (thank you, Cavita!) and whatever detergent they use smells INCREDIBLE. A small setting of well hidden nature with lush vegetation and beautiful frangipani trees in bloom! Very professional and friendly staff and john felt at home. I would highly recommend it!

At the top, after a second stay Under the Badamier, we can only recommend this hotel! A attentive, welcoming team, full of good places to visit! The room is clean and cleaned every day! The hearty and varied breakfast!

We felt very comfortable. Kevin and his family welcomed us directly in a friendly way and explained everything to us. They gave us a lot of tips on where to eat or what activities there are. The room was very clean and tidy.

Friendly and comfortable. Run by sisters who were lovely. We had the top floor flat (room 7) with living room, kitchen and two bedrooms. Lovely balcony with glimpses of the sea. African coastal vibe. Good breakfast and secure car parking. The fish barbeque restaurant directly opposite was superb. Palmer beach which is 5 minutes drive away is worth it.

Nice place and location

Great stay! Breakfast provided was very nice, always different and tasty. Hosts were very helpful with finding the place with our taxi driver. Great beach within 10 minutes walk at times we were the only people on the beach. Room was cosy and clean, bed comfy and AC brilliant. Every few days towels were changed which is great! The bathroom was big and shower great! Outdoor area was always clean. Pool was nice and clean but didn’t use. With your room you get a fridge which is great. We sat outside in the garden for a couple of nights, Parmeet put some music on and fairy lights which was awesome. Great place to stay!
