Holiday houses in Mavros Kolimpos

Unsere Woche in der Unterkunft war einfach traumhaft. Die Unterkunft entspricht den Fotos in vollem Umfang. Die Ausstattung ist top und der Blick aus den oberen Schlafzimmern ist herrlich. Man kann auch über einen kleinen Pfad zur Bucht unten gelangen. Claudia war eine tolle Ansprechpartnerin, antwortet schnell und hat uns im ihren Tipps einen tollen Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Sie hat auch Restaurants für uns reserviert. Die Unterkunft ist eine 10/10 und wir (7 Mädels) können sie voll weiterempfehlen.

Dieses kleine Bijou ist ein echter Traum. Schon bei der Ankunft haben wir uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend, und wir haben es sehr genossen, in nur einer Minute zum Steinstrand hinunterzulaufen – sogar ohne Badeschuhe kein Problem – und danach den Aussenbereich in vollen Zügen zu geniessen. Das Badezimmer ist zwar klein, aber dank der Aussendusche hat uns das überhaupt nicht gestört – im Gegenteil, wir waren rundum happy. Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall von Vorteil, da fussläufig keine Tavernen oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten erreichbar sind. Georgia war eine wunderbare Gastgeberin und hat uns mit liebevollen Willkommensgeschenken überrascht: frisches Obst, Saft, Schokolade, Wein und sogar Spaghetti. Auch das WLAN hat bestens funktioniert. Im Nachhinein sind wir fast ein wenig traurig, dass wir nur vier Nächte dort verbringen konnten. Der Ort lädt einfach zum Geniessen und Entspannen ein – und der Blick aufs Meer wirkt wunderbar beruhigend.

Wir haben uns unheimlich wohl gefühlt und die Terrasse war größer und schöner, als sie auf dem Bildern aussieht - sowieso der wichtigste Aufenthaltsort überhaupt. Die Nähe zum Strand war unbezahlbar und wir haben beim Meeresrauschen besonders gut und tief geschlafen. Danke Zampia, für diesen unvergesslichen Urlaub

Wir haben unglaublich schöne drei Wochen in der Villa Olga verbracht. Zusammen mit meinem Mann und meiner 10 Monate alten Tochter konnten wir uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlen und den Urlaub sofort genießen. Das Haus liegt zwar an einer Straße, aber das stört nicht. Die Lage und die Nähe zum Meer sind super und das Haus ist toll ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, von Musikbox, TV, Küchengeräten, etc. war alles da. Die Küchenausstattung hat uns besonders gefallen, da wir gerne viel kochen und dies war hier bei Olga auf jeden Fall möglich. Der Whirlpool auf dem Dach, die Außendusche im "Garten" und den Luxus von 2 Bädern hat unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht und den Abschied um so schwerer. Wir können Olgas Villa wärmstens empfehlen und hoffen im kommenden Jahr vielleicht wieder Urlaub in diesem schönen Haus machen zu können:)

We had a wonderful stay at the Seascape Villa! The views are truly stunning and the photos do not do them justice! Maria was an incredible and caring host/ point of contact and was so responsive, providing special tips and recommendations to make our visit enjoyable! She’s happy to help, and even called ahead to restaurants for vegan options for us - thanks! The separate and very private bedrooms with their own entrances are great for sharing the space. Lots of outdoor places to relax and enjoy the view. The secluded rocky beach is breathtaking and absolutely worth the hike down and up - more for the adventurous type but absolutely doable and worth it! So peaceful and gorgeous down at that beach. Sometimes there is some noise from the neighbors and their dogs, cats, and from the road behind the house which is normal/ typical if off a main road and with neighbors - just flagging that although it is private and somewhat secluded it can get noisy at times. 100 percent would return!!

Wir waren zum zweiten und bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal in Katerinas Haus. Wir genießen dort die Ruhe und Privatsphäre sowie den wirklich kurzen Fußweg zum Strand! Katerina hat uns wieder sehr herzlich und mit vielen Aufmerksamkeiten (z.B. riesige Obstschüssel, selbstgemachte Konfitüre ihrer Mama sowie Grundzutaten für das erste Abendessen) empfangen. Für uns der perfekte Ort zum Abschalten vom Alltag, wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder. Danke Katerina!

This is a wonderful flat to stay in, you can see the sun rise every morning and it has a lovely see view. The place is very clean, tastefully decorated and with all facilities you will need. It is very spacious and has a large lounge/ kitchen/ dining area. There are lovely beaches nearby, the most practical for a swim is probably the one in front of the Gallini beach bar/ restaurant down the road (you can walk to it), but there is also a beautiful secluded beach in front of the house if you can manage the rocky path down to it. There are two bigs towns nearby, Ierapetra, which is very modern, and Makry Gialos, which is the most wonderful 70s style beach town. The food in the area is excellent, we ate very well at Kallionitza in Koutsouras, just before Makry Gialos, as well as at Stratos, just before the port of the same town. The landscape is very hilly and rocky but the roads are in great condition. Kyriaki and Georgiou (hope they forgive the spelling) are very helpful and generous hosts, and will make your stay a very friendly and relaxed one. This was possibly our best Airbnb experience so far, and we’ve had quite a few!

This was a brilliant place to stay and recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in South East Crete. The house is 10 minutes away in a car from the main Makry Gialos village resort but there are also a few hidden beaches only a few minutes away. We checked out other apartments of similar prices within the resort but none of them would compare with the quality and space provided in this house. The sea view is from each balcony was spectacular to wake up to every morning. We also discovered a delightful nature walk behind the house in the hills which gave an opportunity to discover pomegranates, lemons and other exotic fruit within touching distance. Will definitely be coming here again!
