An amazing castle like home over a very large olive gorge overlooking the ocean. Absolutely stunning scenery all around us. Home had all the amenities one would hope for and then some. Very large space for our family of 9. Pool and hot tub were a hit plus tons of games including foosball and ping ball. The upper deck was perfect for sunsets. And while we did not use they had this amazing wood fire BBQ and sitting area one could use. The location was great. We were basically on side of mountain in a secluded area but close enough to small villages and beaches. Lots of tavernas within 10 mins…4 tavernas within 1/4 mile (although 2 were closed due to slow season). Getting into Kalamata city center was about 25 mins and well worth it. Ann provided several suggestions on her Airbnb page. While there is taxi service i would highly recommend having your own vehicle Ann has a local host, Joanna, helping out and was super helpful and very responsive. Don’t hesitate to rent this place!

Don’t hesitate to book, such a beautiful spot. The flat is elegant and even better than photos. The terrace looks out over the new town of Mystras and the stunning hill and ruins of old Mystras and around to Sparta. Easy to get there and visit sites by car. Old Mystras is fascinating ..visit early morning for the castle and go back later in the day to avoid the coach tours .. Sparta although modern is also well worth visiting ..especially restaurant En Hapti. To sit under the scented jasmine with great food . The flat is completely self contained, spacious enough for two couples and private, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Spyros is lovely and lives in the basement quietly and has a gorgeous dog called Roody. If in the area this is a truly magical place to stay. Thank you Spyros so much for sharing it.

Sowohl die Unterkunft, woe auch die Lage und das wunderschöne Dorf mit einer fantastischen Taverne haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Eir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kamen als Familie hier in Drosopigi zur Ruhe. Herzlichen Dank!

The house was clean and comfortable, with a wonderful garden. Elias gave us great tips about the area and was available whenever we needed anything.

Το σπίτι της Μαρίας ήταν πολύ καθαρό και φιλόξενο. Όλα λειτουργούσαν πολύ καλά. Βρίσκεται σε όμορφη περιοχή λίγο πιο έξω από το κέντρο και έτσι μπορείς να παρκάρεις εύκολα. Για ένα ζευγάρι με αμάξι θεωρώ ότι είναι ό,τι πρέπει!

Beautiful house made out of rock in the heart of Taygetos' mountain. The nature around it is amazing and there are many pathways if you want to explore the mountain. Pantelis was a great host and the whole experience was amazing.

Das Haus ist ein Traum! Das Haus ist fantastisch in dem alten Teil von Monemvasia gelegen und besonders schön! Es war herrlich ruhig und schön, auf der kleinen privaten Terrasse zu frühstücken. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen.

2 semaines de vacances magiques au bord de l'eau. La maison est très fonctionnelle et la terrasse avec vue sur la mer est fantastique. Les hôtes sont très disponibles et nous ont proposés à plusieurs reprises des activités journalières ou des restaurants. Je recommande vivement cette adresse pour des vacances à Leonidio !

Es ist ein schönes Haus mit großem Garten und tollem Pool, eine richtige Oase, ruhig gelegen aber trotzdem ist von dort aus alles (Strände, Ort, Restaurants, Geschäft...) schnell und gut erreichbar. Für uns also die perfekte Kombination. Wir (4-köpfige Familie) haben dort unseren Sommerurlaub verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber auch für ihre Hilfsbereitschaft bei allen unseren Fragen.

This is the second time we've stayed here, and the fourth time in the area. It is an absolutely beautiful location. Perfect weather and everything within 10 minutes drive. The house itself has everything and is flawlessly presented. We'll be back again.

Words can't describe this place and Dia our hostess. Before we got there, Dia went above and beyond to help us with our plans, both on our travel there and during our stay. From the minute we stepped in we felt right at home. Everything you need is there and the surroundings are simply magnificent. From the view from the apartment to the private beach below. It was everything we could ask for. A true paradise we would like to keep to ourselves for future trips.. and of course Dia who made our vacation even more enjoyable and made sure we have everything we need. Thank you Dia!

My best recommendations! A beautiful and charming place - wonderful pool, view and garten.

We had an amazing stay. We had the ground floor apartment of a three storey property where Stathis family resides- even though this was the case, we had our own privacy to the grounds and the pool. The family were extremely lovely and we hardly saw them. The property was spotless and the grounds were extremely beautiful and peaceful with the fruit and herb trees surrounding the property. The kids had a great time in the pool. We loved our stay and we loved Kalamata!

We had a fabulous few days at the end of our road trip, a great place to relax. The location is fantastic, just a short walk away from the tavernas and shops. The apartment contained everything you could need including the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The pool was warm, situated in a lovely well kept garden with beautiful lighting at night. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived and it was great knowing that Eleni was close by in case we needed anything - but we didn’t! Highly recommended. Greece at its best ❤️🇬🇷

What an incredible oasis! We stayed at Fenia’s with our family for a few days before we got married at Petra & Fos Boutique Hotel & Spa a couple minutes’ walk away. It was idyllic! We loved our little hideaway. Fenia and the local host Dimitra were lovely and very helpful. The house is spotless and the location spectacular. Dimitra was always there to help and provided us with some local treats on arrival “. It is useful to know that you need to tell the hosts in advance if you need linens on the sofa bed on the mezzanine as they aren’t readily available. A strange smell at some points during the stay and some electrical issues but honestly neither detracted from the stay. The pool is beyond perfect and we would love to come back again!! In fact, if we could buy our own exactly the same, we would :-)

What a truly incredible place! It feels so peaceful, with stunning views surrounding you, while still just a stone's throw from the beach and delightful taverns. Niko and his team were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home! We had an unforgettable experience and are already dreaming of returning.
