This was a great place for our family. Nothing fancy but very confortable. Our kids loved the pool even after full days at the beach. Air conditioning was welcome and we enjoyed all the space. Great view, could hear the waves as we relaxed at night and we enjoyed the hammocks. As well, Perla and her crew were amazing - our son got sick on the day we had to check out and Perla let us relax in another space she had and store our bags while we decided what to do- she would have let us stay if there had not been another booking. Totally recommend, and we will be back!

Private, clean and well looked after. Don’t expect a lot of amenities in area if that’s what you are looking for. Small village with only the basics and few places to eat which may or may not be open. Plan to be self reliant or willing to travel to dine out. Beautiful area.

Our stay at Tres Leches was exceptional. Everything from the property layout and landscaping, to the design details, to the cleaning and care, to the proactive communication were meticulously executed. And the pool was just magic - perfect temp for a cooler morning swim and a warmer evening hang - with a view of the lush nature surrounding. Keep in mind that Zipolite is hot and there is a rustic nature to Tres Leches, very much by design. The units’ walls don’t meet the ceiling so you will see bugs but with a little thoughtfulness (lights off, food away, mosquito net tucked) it’s a fun adventure. We even saw a toad the size of a cat outside one night. It could barely jump up the stairs! The only other thing guests should note is that the hill to get up to the property is quite steep, so be prepared to huff a little when coming back from the beach - great to work off all those drinks you’ll be enjoying. Overall Tres Leches was an amazing getaway, thanks Adam & Faustino for making it!

Beautiful house with amazing view of the Puerto Angel bay. The pool is small but very well kept. The outdoor dining space is huge, super nice having your breakfast there with a view to the ocean. The refrigerator is kind of old, not strong enough to counter the intense Oaxacan heat. Food won't last for more than a day before it goes bad. Drinking water will not be cool enough, but the freezer works fine so you can make ice cubes. The area is super quiet. The downside to this is that there aren't as many shops and restaurants nearby. For that you'll need to go down to Zipolite or Mazunte. If you don't have a car you'll need to use the local taxis which only take cash, so make sure to bring enough cash for this (we ended up spending about MXN$ 600 a day in taxis). Make sure to get back before 10pm, as it's really hard to get a taxi after that.

We aimed for a privare destination with beautiful views, far enough from crowded towns on the coast of Oaxaca. Casa Xida provided extraordinary views of a very special piece of nature…a lovely wide stretch of ocean, great whale watching, and spectacular sunrises. Close access to small, quiet La Boquilla beach which was literally an easy ten minute hike away was so appreciated. The drive to bigger surf Zipolite beach was easy, as was the shopping and varied food scene in Mazunte. Beds were so comfortable, cooking easy in the well-appointed kitchen. Bedrooms provided great privacy. Beli was totally responsive to our few calls. We were so satisfied with our stay at Casa Xida. Can’t wait to return. Millones de gracias, Reto! Buen año. Inmejorable!!! La casa está bonita, pero la ubicación con esas vistas maravillosas lo vale todo. Su alberca riquísima con la mejor vista. Recámaras muy espaciosas y cómodas. Todos los espacios bien pensados para que disfrutes el lugar y hasta pensarías en disfrutar sin tener que salir pero hay muchísimo por conocer! Podría hablar maravillas de la casa pero lo que más me impresionó fue el servicio profesional e inmediato de Alex, el administrador. Quedamos encantados con su forma de administrar, siempre pensando en que hacer para que tu estancia sea inmejorable y sus recomendaciones fueron las mejores. Volvería a esta casa o a cualquiera de las que Alex tiene sin pensarlo. Ese joven va a llegar muy muy lejos. Felicidades!!!

Super séjour. La maison est très dépaysante, on est vraiment en pleine nature et déconnecté. Tout reste très accessible à pied. Très confortable et agréable autant pour cuisiner que pour dormir. Les hôtes sont adorables, très réactifs et flexibles. On a aussi eu la possibilité de louer un scooter directement auprès d’eux. Le ménage est fait tous les jours dans la chambre c’est génial ! On ne peut que recommander !

The setting is absolutely spectacular in person - even better than the images. The house is charming and the walk down the hill to the semi private beach is long but perfectly manageable. The team at the hotel Bahia de la Luna could not have been lovelier. there is also a wonderful outdoor shower that i used every day However, the listing should stress how tricky (steep and rough) the roads are to navigate. i rented a normal sedan car and although it is DOABLE in a regular car, I wished every day that i had a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We also felt that the kitchen could be a little better equipped and the stove/oven were rather temperamental. Given that the position of the house made it hard to go out for dinner at night, it's important to be able to cook. the local market (fish in Puerto Angel or the big municipal market in Pochutla) are wonderful. Last - it would have been good to have some seating on the two bedroom balconies and some extra seating for the dining table

La casa Olalé es un paraiso dentro de San Agustinillo, excelente para hospedarse en su 4 cuartos todos con baño propio y con todas las amenidades necesarias para pasar una vacación increible. Arturo es un anfitrión explendido, incluso nos permitió entrar un poco antes ya que algunos de nosotros teniamos que trabajar

Bianca is an amazing host, so kind and thoughtful. The loft is gorgeous, spacious clean and awesome for exploring Zipolite and neighbouring beaches. Highly recommend ❤️

Sehr besonderes Haus mit unglaublicher Aussicht von der großen Dachterasse. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit Paul & Paco war super und beide waren sehr hilfsbereit & freundlich. Der perfekte Ort um ein paar Tage absolute Ruhe zu finden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr abgelegen und nicht ohne Auto/Taxi zu erreichen.

A great place to stay, it was our kids first experience of the beach and the house was perfect, 5 minutes walk to the beach but also far enough away from loud music and parties. it was warm but the fans and outdoor space really helped, a great cabin to stay in.

Casa Ebano is a treasure. The home is absolutely gorgeous, and the views overlooking the beach from the terrace are breathtaking! It is only a 1/2 mile walk to the beach, but is a very steep and bumpy dirt road. The beach and swimming definitely worth it! We highly recommend having the caretaker, Paco and his wife, Yolanda, cook for you! They prepared us a fabulous fish dinner! We like our stay and you will, too! .

Un lugar excelente, muy cómodo, con buena vista y tranquilo para pasar unas buenas vacaciones, sin duda regresaríamos!

I will definitely stay here again! So peaceful, so private, amaaazing views of the open sky over the valley, the hills covered in beautiful flora, and from certain spots on the property you can also see the ocean! I stayed for a whole week and could stay for a year! The hike to and from town is a great daily exercise! We were traveling on foot the whole time and found the walk from the house to the nearest beach was about 15 min down a steep, yet safe, hillside. Great exercise and a great quiet and nature-filled walk to town! And getting back to the house is also great exercise and at times a bit steep—-all so worth it for the views!! The house has everything you need to cook and prepare anything! Extra linens And towels were a huge plus! And Enrique was an incredible host! He went so far as to answer my questions about the rental before I requested to book! Above and beyond! Thank you, Enrique!

If you are looking for a place away from it all, to observe the power and sound of the ocean, watch whales in the day and the stars at night while relaxing on a hammock/deck, then this property will absolutely serve your purpose. As noted in other reviews, the architecture is stunning and integrated into a hillside, but it's not for those with mobility issues or necessarily young children. My wife, son and I enjoyed the location very much. Prepare and plan for your arrival with food/supplies if you intend to stay in place, otherwise expect some logistics to seek out alternatives. We recommend renting a capable vehicle (SUV), arriving during daylight hours when you first come as the road is rough and a bit off the beaten path, but as is often the case, this is how and where you find unexpected treasures and memorable experiences. Danizhu was an excellent host to deal with and offered good suggestions for accessing local amenities. Cheers, Mike

I absolutely loved the hospitality at this venue—it reminded me of a charming bed-and-breakfast. The staff was marvelous; they were incredibly caring when my husband fell ill during our stay, even suggesting some soup that was wonderfully soothing. Additionally, the location of the place provided a good workout, with its hilly setting keeping me on my toes. The nearby town was also beautifully picturesque. Highly recommend for those who appreciate attentive service and a scenic environment!

La experiencia en esta casa fue inigualable. La ubicación es simplemente perfecta, con vistas impresionantes a la playa y acceso directo a dos playas hermosas. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario y es muy cómoda, con detalles súper agradables. El anfitrión fue sumamente amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudar en lo que fuera necesario. Sin duda, es un lugar al que regresaría y recomendaría ampliamente.

Perfecto desde un inicio hasta que nos fuimos, Sandra y Daniel super amables y atentos en la casa hay un angelito que se llama "san agus" muy cariñosa y amigable, el lugar es muy bonito, como observación hay poca o nula señal de celular hace que te desconectes del mundo

The place is uphill from the beach, but easily accessible by foot. There's a supermarket close by, and a lot of small shops in town. The place was clean, and it had everything you needed to cook food. WiFi was great, the balcony spacious with the views of the street, but private. We were able to wash clothes, and Reyna gave us homegrown fruit - it was delicious.
