Holiday rentals with a fireplace in McQueeney

Absolutely amazing stay! The nature itself is breathtaking and the cabin is so cozy and clean. Not only did it match the description and photos perfectly, but they also go above and beyond with the amenities they provide.

Place was cozy, very nice view, and very clean. Overall plenty of parking, perfect spot in between San Antonio and Austin. Pool was perfect temperature and clean, hot tub as well. Will be coming back for sure.

We love this place right on the river. The house is roomy, comfy and has the best scenery. There is direct access to the river via the back yard. The beds are very comfortable, and we had all the needed amenities. Hope to stay here year after year. (This was our 2nd trip to this house).

This house was perfectly located within 30 minutes of just about everything. The natural caverns, drive through safari, legoland, the river, New Braunfels, etc. there were SO many things to do and nothing was unreasonable! We spent a couple days at Guadalupe river state park for some relaxing water time, that was the only time we had to drive but the comal is extremely close we just wanted more of a family friendly vibe. If you’re going to float the river on comal or visit new braunsfels it’s within 30 minutes! The kitchen had everything we could have needed from pots and pans and dishes to a blender and bbq pit outside. Our children loved the playset and it made it nice to have something for them to do while we were at the house, we had a 3 and 4 year old and I didn’t feel like I was having to constantly chase them and keep them from breaking things it is a very family friendly stay. Some homes, as parents know, can be covered in toddler dangers lol this one was not. 10/10 trip!

We’ve stayed at this Airbnb several times now, and each visit has been consistently excellent. The space is always spotless, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable. It’s clear that Kelly put a lot of thought into making guests feel welcome — from the thoughtful touches to the fast communication. The location is perfect for tubing, boating, or a quiet weekend getaway, and it truly feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next stay!

The property was exactly as advertised and Austin did a great job with proactive communication to ease the check in and check out process. Although the river was a bit low when we visited, the house is driving distance to multiple points of interest.

My siblings and I truly enjoyed staying at Lenny’s and Teresa’s house! There was plenty of room for everyone and the pool was so much fun! We definitely recommend this place to anyone trying to escape the hot Texas weather! It is close to stores and restaurants! The beds are super comfortable and the blackout curtains in the room let you sleep through anything!! We look forward to staying at their place again in the near future!!!

Beautiful, quiet location within minutes of Wimberley. The apartment was comfortable and private. We appreciated Terry checking in on us shortly after we arrived and giving us local recommendations. A book with instructions and local information is also available.

This place is great and the hosts are amazing. Very well thoughtful additions to the Airbnb like snacks, cold drinks, coffee, and don’t forget the cookies waiting when you arrive. The house is super clean and private and exactly what we were looking for. Would stay there again without hesitation!

We have stayed in dozens of home. This ranks up there in the top 5, but the host is #1. What set him above the rest? I asked for an early check in. He said he would need to get back to me as the previous guest will be checking out the morning we are arriving. He advised that he put a reminder in his phone. Friday morning arrived and I didn’t need to follow up with him, he followed up with me just as he said he would do. That kind of follow through is HUGE! I am very happy with Jay! The place was immaculate, penthouse decor. Picture perfect!

Second time staying at this AirBnb and I have to say my stay only got better the second time around. Luis Daniel G are a great host and definitely one of the best hosts on AirBnb at the moment.

This place was perfect! It slept 7 of us very comfortably and was perfect for our weekend trip. It’s in a perfect location in town. Very close to downtown but also not far off the interstate. It sits on the Guadalupe and is just a couple of minutes to the Comal. The complex was gated, so it felt very safe! We were extremely happy that we found this place! Kristen was very responsive and extremely easy to communicate with. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Our stay was so peaceful and pleasant! The homemade Greek cookies were the icing on the cake! Short drive to downtown, minimal street traffic and the cowboy tub was the perfect temp for an evening hangout! Will stay again!

House was beautiful and clean. Just as pictured. Host was extremely responsive and kind. Within 10 minutes to downtown, river walk, Japanese Tea Garden, and great restaurants. House is located by railroad tracks, so not ideal for a light sleeper, but our family didn’t mind. Neighborhood is not ideal for walking around, but we always felt safe and didn’t need to venture out unless we were getting in a car. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great updated home. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Appreciated all the recommendations for things to see/do - San Antonio is an amazing town with much to enjoy! This location is SO convenient; literally 8-12 minutes to most places. We stayed for a month & always something to do. Also has wonderful dog-friendly trails and parks close by. Marcus and team very responsive to questions. Thank you!

Great hosts. Great place. Great location. There’s so much do to here and it’s so close to other popular surrounding areas. Didn’t wanna go home. Our family’s 3rd go around at this location with Leavetown as our host and they haven’t disappointed.

It would be difficult to find a place so close to one of the biggest cities in the country, yet at the same time feel like you have a view of nature as far as you can see. During our stay we saw deer, armadillos and foxes. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and split layout. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning home! Our check is was smooth and the host was great. It was super spacious, clean and well maintained. The back yard was big and secure for our pups. The hot tub was the star of the show and the pool house was equipped with fun family activities. Overall an amazing stay, would definitely stay again!

Great experience! Our original place had an issue with the pool, so Sheila was quick to upgrade us with this listing. The house was clean and able to accommodate all 12 of us. It was close by to everything we needed and the pool was great for both kids and adults. We’d definitely stay here again.
