Cottage holiday rentals in Mediterranean Sea

If I could move in here permanently, I would. What a gorgeous stay with responsive and respectful hosts. Everything was as described, the hot tub was glorious, and we loved looking through the binder of photos of painstaking restoration over the years.

We were warmly greeted by Alain and Clair on arrival – they couldn’t have been more welcoming, and their kindness really set the tone for our stay. The setting was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, a real escape from the hustle and bustle. The highlight for us was sitting and looking out at the river and waterfall right next to the property – the view was stunning and the sound of the water was so soothing. We left feeling completely relaxed and recharged. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful week in Gloria's house. Our four-legged friend also felt totally comfortable in nature. The house is small but nice and has everything you need. The property is a nice size and is perfect for eating outside, relaxing in the hot tub or just lying in the sun. The way to the house is a little challenging, but with a normal car and a little driving experience it can be mastered. Gloria was always available to us and gave us good excursion tips for the area in advance. Even with any inquiries, she always reacted very quickly and helped us. It is perfect for simply getting out and enjoying the nature and tranquility of Tuscany. We will be happy to come back!

The house is an absolute dream! We spent 1 wonderful week with our two Ridgeback ladies. The host is very hospitable and accommodating. A bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us at the reception, which we immediately enjoyed in the beautiful garden. The first dinner was also provided, as well as breakfast. The garden with the pool is simply fantastic. The two dogs also felt very comfortable and could play freely in the completely fenced garden. The house is very well maintained down to the smallest detail. Due to the seclusion and tranquility in the place, we were able to relax here. Our stay was absolutely lovely! The space is exactly as pictured and advertised. We used the pools, games, and enjoyed private space. Although the property is connected to the family’s private home, you feel secluded and privacy while safe knowing you’re close to them as locals - they did an incredible job designing the space. This spot is the perfect location to explore Provence. Morgane had great recommendations and set us up for a wonderful trip. Cucuron and Ansouis are within 5 miles and perfect for food or pastries. The peacefulness, opportunity for adventure inside and outside the property, and Morgane’s attentiveness make this one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at. Would highly recommend this beautiful property!

The old oil mill has been restored with great attention to detail and you live in incredibly beautiful rooms. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations! We loved that the contact with the landlords was very private and individual. We felt like we were part of the family, which made our stay special. The hosts are relaxed and accommodating, give great tips, help with problems and are very generous. The location is unique, the sunset from the pool or bedroom is breathtaking and the view of the sea is picturesque. The fishmonger arrives in the morning directly in front of the house - pure Italian flair! We would have liked to stay longer and would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was absolutely perfect! The villa is well equipped with everything you need for a week-long stay (or longer), and situated very close to shops in Lavrio for groceries. Waking up everyday to the beautiful sunrise over the sea with mountains in view was amazing. We were able to very comfortably fit our whole family here without any issues and there was still more space we could have used for additional people if needed. We definitely plan to come back here for more family vacations.

We had a perfect stay at Dimitra’s beautiful house. She was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. The house is spotless and has all the amenities you need. The location is peaceful and secluded but also easy to get to nearby restaurants and beaches. We wished we could spend the whole summer here!

Need more time here!!! My regret is not booking another night here at this wonderful place! Check in was easy with the help of Mirjana’s dad, Shinisha. He made sure we knew everything we needed to know and was available if we needed him anytime… Mirjana made an excellent recommendation for lunch before we arrived and was delicious 😋 Mirjana’s place is perfectly located for peace and quiet and the views are spectacular. Make sure to bring your binoculars… The house was immaculate and very comfortable and we had everything we needed .. lots of different areas to sit and enjoy the view…a lot of time, effort and love has went into creating Falcons nest which was very appreciated by us…

Milos was a fantastic host, very friendly and welcoming, and flexible regarding the check-in and -out times. His brother even brought us to the location with his own car, since I don’t drive, which was really great. The Old Mill is such a gem, it’s very authentic and the views from the balcony are just breathtaking, especially at the sunset. The pool area and the garden are also a very unique and a beautiful addition to the whole experience. Having a car is advisable, but if you don’t drive (like myself) there are local drivers, which will bring you to wherever you wish for a reasonable price.

Lovely and magical spot in a unique cove on Mallorca’s magical west side. The drive down isn’t for the faint of heart, but I quite enjoyed it. We loved walking into the port to eat or enjoy sunset. Also, the outdoor spaces are incredible!

WOW WOW WOW!! What can I say, we absolutely loved it, Jean Marc and Lottie were so lovely and very helpful. They have and continue to work so hard to make this the most perfect and beautiful retreat. Lottie’s breakfasts are absolutely delicious. We will be back, thank you both for such a wonderful stay at the idyllic little house .

This place cannot be fully described in words. It's is much more beautiful than the pictures. It is so very relaxing and I have never felt so in sync with nature. I and my husband felt we needed more days to stay and would love to come back. Andrea and Chandra have really build something amazing here. Sebastian and all who work there are extremely friendly and helpful. We took the pottery lesson with Chandra which was really great. She is an amazing teacher. The food made by Andrea was very very tasty. Overall, we had fantastic time at Il Baciarino and it was the perfect way to end our vacation feeling very calm and relaxed. I would recommend everyone to experience this wonderful place!

We spent a wonderful 10 days in the cottage as a family. What a lovely and beautiful cottage. Not super big, but enough space for outdoor living, because you can do that fantastically well there. A wonderful swimming pool, outdoor shower (lovely in the early morning between the bird sounds showering) beds, hammock, chairs, cozy speakers outside for a background music, you name it. An excellent base for various cities, villages and beaches. Beautiful environment (due to a lot of sun, but dry). The only downside is the barking dogs in the neighborhood. They can't do anything, but you can hear them going off quite a bit from time to time. But good for the cottage and the area, you really don't have to leave it there. In the morning, you will be awakened by the singing birds, the peacocks nearby and occasionally the donkey further on. Wonderful sounds! Highly recommended for a short, but also for a longer period! Santorini Sky was the most idyllic, dreamy destination that you could ever imagine. The villa and the associated views were absolutely phenomenal. The reception team were so welcoming, informative, and completely went out of their way to ensure that our stay was the most memorable you could possibly imagine! The on-site pastry chef prepared the most delicious, fresh, local breakfasts, drinks and midday snacks that you could ever imagine, she passionately captured the flavors of the island with her food every day. The cleaning and facility staff, were unbelievably discreet, considerate, friendly and above all extremely thorough with their services. I completely lost myself at this place and didn't ever want to leave.

We had a lovely stay at the Petros and Clives Shepherds Hut. They provided a very warm welcome and gave local recommendations. the location is stunning and private. The most wonderful stay ~ peaceful, wholesome & authentic. The house has been renovated to an incredible standard - it’s beautiful. We liked the remoteness of it & the booklet of recommendations was very helpful. The one minor negative was that the pool wasn’t that clean, but despite this, we would love to visit again.

This villa is absolutely beautiful. It is better than the pictures even show! The views are incredible and everything is so tranquil. There is one restaurant within walking distance, but with scooter rental and taxis, everything was accessible. Valentino was a great host and helped us with whatever we needed (restaurant reservation, taxis, etc). It is a beautifully maintained property and I highly recommend staying here!

We had a great 10 day stay at Stone Lake Cottage. Everything was just as we expected - peaceful surroundings, great view, all we needed in the cottage, really helpful and responsive host. We loved exploring the local village and were made to feel welcome in the local bar, restaurant, café and taverna 😊 There are bus services to the main towns but we found a car very useful to explore the wider island. We thoroughly recommend Peter's property.
