Windmill holiday rentals in Mediterranean Sea

Amazing!! The photos don’t do this place justice. It is so quirky and unique staying in a real windmill and we loved it. The spiral stairs, the round beds, the views… the location is fantastic, you can walk to the beautiful town of glaxidi which we loved and also the beach - both on paths through pine trees and also while we were there we had the swimming pool all to ourselves! Thank you for a memorable stay xx

We loved our stay at the Windmill. When we arrived both Mary and Madgalina greeted us, walking through all the amenities and property, then sat with us providing maps and great recommendations. The property is so peaceful with beautiful views of the sea and town below. We loved relaxing and enjoying. The fridge was fully stocked. Complimentary wine, water, juice, coffee, milk, local cheeses, meats, tomatoes, melon, oranges, jams, honey, pastries, bread,. We were able to make breakfast and pack a cooler to take to the beach for light lunch. We walked around Ano syros enjoying drinks and a great dinner. They also helped us secure a car rental which was brought up to the windmill for us. So helpful. Waking up in the windmill with fresh breezes and a window looking out to the sea was so charming and delightful. This was such a unique and incredible stay for us on our two week trip. Syros is a great locals island and staying at the windmill brough us such happiness

Unser Aufenthalt war super. Nicht nur die ruhige, aber dennoch zentrale Lage haben überzeugt, sondern auch die überragende Gastfreundschaft. Da wir die einzigen Gäste waren, konnte wir die gesamte Anlage nutzen. Dimitris hat uns sehr gute Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants gegeben und war sofort zur Stelle, wenn es ein kleines Problem gab. Das Abschiedsgeschenk, das wir am Abreisetag erhalten hatten, war eine rührende Überraschung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können dieses Apartment uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The traditional windmill was my best experience on Airbnb. The windmill is in an amazing location with a 360 degrees view over Paros island - you almost feel alone on the island ! This is a Perfect location to visit the island. The windmill is just above Lefkes village which is so nice and preserved. The outdoor kitchen is very useful and nice. Everything was very clean !

One of the best holidays 4 of us have had and this was a big part of it. Massive thank you to Alex and Akis who run the place and made the holiday better. Property was so clean and we got a daily clean of the apartment with sheets and towels which we didn’t expect. Pool area is amazing with unreal scenery and so clean with a great restaurant area to match where you can get really affordable food and drinks made to order. Every place we need to go to was a short drive away. Can’t recommended this place enough and thanks for the memories. Will be going back for sure!

Warm hospitality, great atmosphere, and an unforgettable Easter! We had a wonderful stay in a very friendly environment with excellent service and truly heartfelt hospitality from everyone! We celebrated Easter by cooking our meal together, surrounded by laughter, music, and great conversations. I would definitely go back! The house we stayed in is beautiful and worth visiting, though a few small improvements could make it even better. It’s peaceful, yet conveniently close to the town center and the main square. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay! Thank you!!!!

My Husband and I stayed in the Windmill for our honeymoon and it was absolutely magical. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. the home itself is super well equipped with everything you need. It is decorated so lovely, makes you feel right at home. Michel who greeted us at check in was lovely and very informative. Julie was also extremely polite to communicate with. Magnifique gîte, magnifique environnement, magnifique accueil. Erwan présente le gîte, l'environnement, la région avec passion. Son sourire, sa disponibilité, sa sympathie, son envie de tout faire pour que le séjour soit agréable, participe au plaisir du séjour. A souligner la qualité de la literie, le souci du détail dans la décoration, les différents petits espaces extérieurs qui permettent de profiter d'une vue magnifique. WOW, our stay at this experience was simply amazing. We can’t thank the hosts enough for their amazing hospitality and recommendations. Gorgeous views with an incredible location walkable to both Apollonia and Kastro villages, the windmill is the perfect place to spend your time in Sifnos. We loved our time lounging by the pool, exploring the island, and making great memories. I cannot recommend this enough for travelers to Sifnos, it’s beautiful and fun!

Abbiamo passato 5 giorni stupendi nel mulino di Christos, arredato con cura ed eleganza nonostante i piccoli spazi. Il mulino è unico come posizione, ottimo per rilassarsi e godere di una vista mozzafiato, fuori dal casino del centro, ma allo stesso tempo a 5 minuti dai ristoranti e dalle più belle spiagge. L’host è stato molto gentile e premuroso. Spero di tornarci!
