Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Megalochori

Our villa was stunning with a most beautiful sea view. It was also extremely private. A short bus ride away from Thira and a short taxi from Oia. The host and her entire team were some of the most friendly and welcoming people we've come across on our travels. It is clear that they have a deep love for Santorini which has definitely rubbed off on us! Safe that when we go back we will be hoping to stay with them again be it in this property or one of their many others on the island. ευχαριστώ!

Great place, excellent pool, and tier own little courtyard with a hot tub .. Megalohori is the cutest village, full of little restaurants etc, cafes, and not overrun by tourists, super quaint <3

Everything was perfect

Avgi’s place was perfect! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Oia but avoid the busy crowds. We stayed 3 nights – the apartment was beautifully decorated, super clean, and had everything we needed. There were 3 of us, and even the sofa bed was huge and comfy! The sunset views were incredible – you can relax on the terrace and snap your photos without anyone stepping into your shot. Bonus: access to the pool at Oia Sunset Villas! Avgi was so lovely and responsive (thanks for being so patient with all my questions 😅), and the receptionist who checked us in was super helpful too. Also, thank you Avgi for the ice cream from Lolita Gelato – honestly, one of the best we’ve ever had! Only tip: rent a car if you can. The walk into Oia is 10–15 mins, and at night it’s not very well lit or signposted. But with a car, it’s a breeze! Overall – peaceful, beautiful and totally worth it. Would stay again in a heartbeat! 💙✨

Our stay at Amantes Amentes was really exceptional! Kostas and his parents are extremely friendly and helped us with all our issues. The apartment was right at the beach, very clean and had literally everything we needed. I recommend anyone who wants to stay here to rent a car to get around because the apartment is far away from the popular cities. Thank you Kostas and big thanks to your parents for everything ♥️

Antonis could not have been more welcoming. And more importantly when needed an urgent hospital visit, insisted on organising lift with friend, accompanying us and then helping with translation in hospital. Quiet, private, convenient for beach, buses and restaurants and excellent bakery also not far. Bonus of bikes and rooftop loungers with sun umbrella. Food and drink in fridge on arrival, Antonis the perfect host.

Magical is how I would describe Pantelis’s place. It is in a secluded cave village and that alone is so cool, but the thought and detail he has put into this space is outstanding. The sunset views from the patio are worth it alone, but you get a peaceful feeling being away from all of the hustle and bustle of town. Pantelis provided me with some food to get me going and invited me to a wonderful homemade dinner with some of his friends. He really made my visit unique and memorable. None of the other islands have compared now! Thirassia itself is small but I really enjoyed exploring it. There is a trail right outside the house that connects you with most of the main sites on the island. I fell in love with the kitties, Agrilita in particular she was such a doll and had three kittens with her. She stole my heart and so did Thirassia. I will be back! Thank you Pantelis for creating such a beautiful space and sharing it with me!

We had a truly wonderful stay! Adele and Antonios were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and helpful throughout our trip. The house was spotless, beautifully designed. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — from arranging transportation to offering great local tips. Communication was smooth and always timely.

Responsive, helpful friendly host and the place is absolutely stunning! Definitely recommend a visit. Just a couple of minutes walk from the supermarket and restaurants / bars!

This stay was an absolute dream — far beyond perfect! The villa is breathtaking, even better than a 5star hotel: beautifully designed, spotlessly clean (with daily housekeeping), and equipped with absolutely everything you could need and even more. The location is ideal, peaceful, yet just 10–15 minutes from all the must-see spots on the island. But the heart of this experience was our incredible host. She is really AMAZING! From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with such warmth and generosity, treating us like family. She had filled the house with an abundance of healthy, delicious local treats and she offered us a cake for a special day. She looked after us throughout our stay, always available with the best recommendations for food and things to do. Her kindness, attention to detail, and care made this place feel like home in the most magical way. One of the best stays of our lives, unforgettable in every sense! Do not hesitate anymore, book this house. You will not regret it!

Absolutely gorgeous place. In a quiet area on Santorini. Host gave great suggestions on places near by to eat. We went to a cute winery up the street with a beautiful view. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. We rented a car to get around that the host assisted us with which was very helpful for us after a long travel day. Would definitely stay here again and bring back the family, this Airbnb definitely has enough space for everyone.

Truly I do not think I could say enough good words about our stay. We visited Santorini on our honeymoon and truly had the most magical stay at Thea!! The spot was perfect: nice and clean inside with STUNNING views, just wow! Maria was also such an amazing host. She had so many recommendations for the island. She also helped arrange all our car transfers (one last minute) with ease. Breakfast was also brought to our room every morning and it was the perfect touch. We felt so relaxed and taken care of during our stay! We will certainly be back 💗

Great stay! Superb location.

George made our stay so great! He brought us fresh eggs from his chickens every day and anything else we needed. We had breakfast every day at the house because George provides everything you need for your mornings. Not to mention all of your toiletries as well. He continued to check in every day and helped arrange transportation, a rental car and even a photographer for photos in nearby Oia. I definitely would come back and stay at George’s place. Stella came every day to clean as needed as well. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time in Oia and the apartment was perfect. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, plenty of amenities, had air con (big bonus as it was hot!) and the view from the balcony was spectacular. We got engaged on the balcony too so that made it even more special! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the town with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, everything we needed was a short walk away. Christina was a very friendly and responsive host, we checked in early and was also offered late checkout which helped massively. I’ve already recommended the place to friends back home and would stay there again myself in a heartbeat. 5 stars all round!

This is hands down the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at. The home was perfect for our large group — we loved the rooms and amenities. The private pool and outdoor lounge space were chef's kiss! Our host, Antreas, made the experience even better. He met with us at both check-in and check-out. During check-in, he gave us a thorough tour of the villa and shared an in-depth guide to the best things to do and places to eat on the island. His food recommendations were spot on! When one of our friends got hurt during a bike tour, Antreas personally went to the pharmacy to get us medication and bandages. He also helped us schedule our transportation every day. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Santorini. I would definitely come back. Thank you again, Antreas, for everything!

Clean, tidy and beautiful home in Kamari, the seaside town of Santorini, very close to the beach, I also liked the design and belongings of the house, it was much nicer than the photos. The host was kind, kind and friendly, we reached out at any time during the stay and he was available for help, I definitely recommend it to those who want to have a beach vacation

Maria is the kindest host we’ve every encountered. She was very thoughtful bringing us fresh food, fruit, and yummy pies. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

The home: Beautiful and extremely clean cycladic house just like the photos in a very quiet neighborhood with killer views. The only caveats are is that the second bedroom is not connected to the main house and is up another flight of stairs which may work for some. The other is there are many steps to house which may be an issue for those with mobility difficulties. However, if you want to experience the cave home in a quiet area, I highly recommend this home. The host: Nikos was an excellent host, extremely responsive, and provided us with a lot of suggestions and information about the area. The area: Not too far from the port and Kamari beach. There are a few wineries close by and within walking distance if you can manage stairs. Also, the bus is close by on the main road, but do recommend renting a car. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Chrisoula was a very responsive host before and during our stay. We had a water leak that could not be repaired and Chrisoula offered us a free night + a trip to another accommodation (Casa Grande). I recommend her services. She also arranged our transfer to the airport. The positive points of listing 1: the beauty / location / large dining table / sitting area / 3 bedrooms / household products available / a tray with treats upon arrival. The negative points of accommodation 1: not enough dishes (lack of a peeler/wooden spoons for example), the two small windows in the front door are simply screened and let in a constant stream of fresh air. We loved Santorini and there were very few people on All Saints' Day (except in Oia). Our family program: Pyrgos / Fira (descent to the port) / Perissa Beach (twice)/ Volcano / Oia - Fira hike. We took the bus.

Casa Nidito exceeded our expectations! We absolutely loved our 20 day stay. Its location is idyllic, & offered a peaceful escape with its beautifully maintained natural garden. The home is so cozy and serene, it felt like a home away home. The garden with its beautiful plants, flowers and outdoor furniture is not only picturesque but just a wonderful extension of the house - we spent hours out there just relaxing and marveling at the magnificent sea landscape. We couldn’t get enough of its beauty, day and night. I see why the hosts are renowned for their exceptional hospitality. While the home is beautiful, what made our stay phenomenal was meeting Juliana & Arsenios. They truly care about their guests, going above & beyond to ensure a comfortable & memorable stay. From providing local recommendations to assisting with transportation arrangements to arranging personalized tours, their dedication made the difference. They are amazing people & we feel very lucky to have met them.
