We loved the accommodation, super attentive host, we loved everything

We had a fantastic family stay at Casa da Ti Dores in Cativelos! The house is full of charm, beautifully restored, and very comfortable for families. It had everything we needed — cozy rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a peaceful setting. The warm pool was the highlight for all of us — absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area. Our kids loved it, and so did we! The village is quiet and welcoming, and it’s a great base for discovering Serra da Estrela. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing, authentic getaway. We hope to return!

Ana’s place is charming and comfortable. The view from the back terrace is spectacular. Ana kindly made a dinner reservation for us nearby and supplied us with freshly baked bread for breakfast. She is an excellent host and her place is perfect for relaxing in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We wished we had time to swim at the nearby river pool which looked amazing. Maybe next time! Thanks Ana for a wonderful stay!

Very welcoming home. For the winter, very warm with the salamadra in the living room. access to the house is only made, through stairs. It can be difficult for those who have mobility difficulties.

Hello Cristian! We loved being in this refuge in the middle of nature, it was exactly what we were needing. It rained a lot and the house was really a welcoming shelter for everyone, our children loved "the wooden house in the countryside, magic"! We slept very well and it was a privilege to enjoy this experience of living in a medieval village with so much history and beauty. We love the shower! We liked the stay very much. We were able to rest very well and there was an incredible amount of space. Everything you need was available and the neighborhood was super nice. It is a tiny village, but from the description and the previous reviews we knew what to expect. You can take really nice trips within a 40-minute radius by car.

If you want quiet cute old village stay. We stayed for a month and enjoyed watching the river and the start of the changing of the leaves. The house is ready to move in how ever long you want to stay with everything needed. The host is very nice.I would come back

Our stay was 5 stars. Carmo was always available for whatever we needed, even after check-out. it's a 5-star host too! The house exceeded our expectations, it is excellent to receive a large group like ours, very comfortable and with all the necessary amenities. We wanted to come back!

We were very happy with our stay at Antonio & Carola's apartment. We really appreciated the warm welcome by Albino, who was always available with tips and advice. The clean and spacious apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by a wonderful garden (also highly appreciated by our children) and we had a sublime view from the apartment's large terrace. We can definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if we ever were to visit the region again.

Great space, nice, we were during the blackout that struck Portugal and Spain and we were super quiet and safe. The hostess super worried and super attentive all the time. we feel more than at home. the place is beautiful and with easy access to all the areas of the star saw and around it. the scenery is amazing and the wonderful place. for sure we will return. it has a fireplace, air conditioning, heating, a wide and super clean place. Beautifully cared for. Wonderful! No words! There was no way to be better. best stay, we felt all the time safe and at home!

Diogo is just a genuinely kind person, and from the moment we arrived he made us feel completely at ease. His hospitality and kindness were especially meaningful during such a special time in our lives. We couldn’t ask for a more special place to celebrate, and we are already looking forward to the day we can return!

Rustic and charming cottage in a classic Portuguese mountain village. Beautifully renovated and equipped with all comforts. For me as a tall Dutchman, it was a small challenge, but it was not a problem. I highly recommend this or one of the other cottages in the nearby area.

Extremely calm site, with total privacy and all the comfort necessary for a quiet and relaxing weekend. The house is equipped with all the amenities and the terrace, with jacuzzi at the ideal temperature, provides a breathtaking view. The owner was always very accessible and attentive, giving helpful suggestions on places to visit and where to eat nearby. Access is easy and there is a supermarket nearby that offers home delivery service, which has made the stay even more practical and comfortable. An experience we recommend!

Bucolic and isolated site with its own access to the clean water stream. At the end of the day, two Serra da Estrela probably attracted by the smell of the barbecue 😆
