Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Meimoa

This place is an absolute gem. It is one of the nicest places we found in Portugal. The house is located in a small vineyard. Beds were comfortable. There’s a wood fired barbeque a great outdoor covered area and a beautiful infinity pool. Every morning we had fresh bread delivered to our doorstep. We picked lemons and oranges from around the house and had the host deliver us fruit. It was beautiful and quiet. The only negative is that we enjoy the place so much we did not visit any of the surrounding areas😊. If we had any questions, the host was response almost immediately with suggestions for places to go restaurants, markets. We had an excellent day and would return and stay there again anytime. It is definitely a 10 out of 10 definitely highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Graça’s. She was very kind, gave us restaurant recommendations, and even booked our reservation for lunch. After spending the last several days in a busier city, we really enjoyed the slower pace Lousa had to offer. The location was perfect- we could easily walk into town or take a walking path to the castle nearby. We also hiked to a beautiful Schist Village (Talasnal) which was about 2.5 miles from the house. The kitchen was perfect and we really enjoyed eating our breakfast on the patio both mornings. We’d highly recommend staying here. Obrigada, Graça.

It exceeded our expectations! Great location, very comfortable, wide and clean housing. Dona Rosário was impeccable, always helpful and very nice. We will certainly be back!

We cannot say enough about how enjoyable, peaceful, and satisfying our stay was in Fontelo at Marina’s house! The house feels spacious and open, with everything you need to be right at home. The views are incredible and the pool and outdoor spaces are functional and enjoyable. I wish I could go back and have another cup of coffee outside, watching the sun rise over the vineyard hills. A 15-minute drive to the Douro River makes tasting the local wines and Port very accessible — just make sure to check the route before following your GPS or you may end up on a dirt farm road :-) Marina is friendly and responsive, always willing to help with questions or suggestions for where to shop and eat. We are already looking forward to our return!

Very welcoming home. For the winter, very warm with the salamadra in the living room. access to the house is only made, through stairs. It can be difficult for those who have mobility difficulties.

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home! It’s spacious, stylish, and absolutely perfect for a large group. The layout is ideal with bedrooms upstairs and downstairs feels like a dedicated hosting space, perfect for socialising, gathering, a nice big hot tub!!!! The views are truly spectacular we enjoyed barbecuing while overlooking the vineyards, which felt like something out of a dream. It’s even more stunning in real life than in the photos (which is saying a lot!). The hostess was absolutely lovely so friendly and helpful. She responded promptly to every request and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. I genuinely can’t fault this place. If I could, I’d return every weekend! It’s ideal for groups of friends, families. The house is incredibly well-suited for the Douro Valley and ticks every box. Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a wonderful stay! Great apartment located in the middle of the historic section of the city.

Very clean, furnished and located accommodation. Ideal for families with up to 05 people. We stay approximately 12 days and the accommodation has all the necessary infrastructure. Location very close to downtown Coimbra and main landmarks. I thank Paulo very much for the attention and promptness. We hope to return again !

Lovely bright apartment on third floor with great views in the heart of the old town. We enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend this apartment for a stay in Coimbra.

Tough to drive in the neighborhood. The sunset from the patio was sublime. We were there during graduation and you could hear the students singing in the streets. Beautiful antique fixtures and furniture.

An outstanding Airbnb in a beautiful location. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of several different places to sit in the garden and enjoy the spectacular views of the Douro valley. But it's the hosts that make this place so special. Casimiro and his son Manuel represent what Airbnb is all about; they personally welcomed us, offering lots of recommendations for places to visit and local restaurants, but were never intrusive. Casimiro's wife had prepared a tray of 'entradas' - a Portuguese starter of cured meats, cheeses, bread and olives - plus a bottle of local wine. A couple of days later Casimiro appeared with an huge bowl of cherries from their own orchard. This Airbnb wasn't just somewhere to stay for a few nights, but an experience to be treasured.

João was a very kind and gracious host. He was always willing to help and was patient enough to take time out of his Friday evening to tend to us when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a problem with our car and got to walk to a beautiful spot just outside the village and the near by mechanic fixed it super fast.
