Casa Tulum was everything the photos and description promised. It was the perfect place for a week-long summer getaway with six family members ranging from age 17 to 89. The house has multiple spaces to relax and gather, all comfortable and pretty with trees to all sides, making it very private. We could walk to a friendly local bar, well-stocked store, cute restaurant and beautiful lake, all within 15 minutes. Oh, and the kitchen is exceptionally well-furnished for real cooking, with a full set of pots, pans, baking dishes and utensils. We had a wonderful time and hope to come again!

Arrived in a sublime home for a weekend getaway with the family. The cottage is perfectly located among the trees with a terrace overlooking the river, no opposite! Everything was clean and tidy, so yes there is no internet and very little cellular network but just what it takes to do the minimum. And finally it feels good to really pick up! The place is on the other hand quite remote so nothing nearby, there is a convenience store 10 minutes to the south but I recommend moving to the village of "la tuque" to the north it is a small 30 minutes and there is a maxi and other shops to refuel the cottage if needed. In addition, for the outings we strongly recommend the small park just before "la tuque" because there is a health trail around a beautiful waterfall as well as a children's park and cabins with stories about the local history so very interesting. A real little cocoon! The place is cute, cozy, with beautiful river views. Ideally located a stone's throw from the village, it is a perfect place to recharge your batteries. The kitchen is small but very well equipped, there is everything you need. The host is super friendly and welcoming — you immediately feel comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful apartment in St-Ferdinand! Very clean and welcoming, Joel and Mary were very accessible throughout our stay. Access to the lake, boats and the small fire pit at the end of the dock were perfect. Definitely recommended!

Always available and attentive, they did not hesitate to lend us personal belongings, to help us in different situations and to ensure that our stay is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Their generosity and hospitality really marked our time here. Beyond their incredible helpfulness, they are people of great sympathy, with whom it is simply nice to exchange and share moments. What a beautiful chalet!! It had almost every single thing we could've possibly needed. Secluded, far away neighbours (exactly what we were looking for). Gorgeous hot tub, cozey and clean kitchen, living room. Had 1 issue with the lock combination not working, but didn't last too long. Living room bug screen had holes, and there were dirty "leftovers" in the washing machine's filter from previous guests (floss stick, hairs). Otherwise, very clean!! Several towels available after all, so we didn't have to bring our own. LOTS OF MOSUITOS & INSECTS!! Please come prepared lol. Overall super happy with our stay, very very nice cottage, sould love to go back during another season with less bugs. Merci Daniel! :)

Very comfortable stay in the heart of nature - waking up to bird calls and rabbits prancing around the backyard. Really well equipped cottage - and they thoughtfully provided towels and treats for our dogs. A short drive to several charming lakes and towns . Highly recommend, and would love to stay here again!

Was unfortunate that we only had one night here - would have loved to have stayed a bit longer to make use of all the facilities and see around the neighbourhood, however what we did see/do was great and the house is gorgeous! Nancy was extremely responsive and helpful. Would love to come back one day.

Excellent family stay, perfect for 4 adults. Beautiful setting, peaceful, clean, recent furniture and with everything you need, great bedding. We had a good time and beautiful evenings on the terrace with the brazier. We have a hard time leaving this magical place, but we will come back with great pleasure! ✨
