Bungalow holiday rentals in Mekong River

The Bungalow was spacious, clean and had the perfect ocean view. The resort ist cozy and offers breakfast and dinner as well. Would definitely recommend!

Am südlichen Ende der Insel findet sich dieses Kleinod. Liebevoll gestaltet in der Einfachheit des Dschungels aber sehr gut . Das Personal zuvorkommend stets hilfsbereit und freundlich. Essen und trinken sehr lecker . Wer auf All-in Tourismus keine Lust hat und eine individuelle Unterkunft sucht ist hier zu 100% richtig. Jederzeit wieder !

Beautiful and quiet! Quick walk to white sand beach through a place called the beach bar just north. Would definitely stay again!

This is the perfect place to disconnect. The bungalow is exactly what you expect from the photos, simple but very cozy and clean. You get to go to bed every night and wake up every morning to the sound of the waves. The island is amazing, Alexandre is super kind and helpful, and the highlight is the staff at the restaurant: the food is amazing, good music is always playing and the volunteers have a great energy. The only bad thing about this place is that you eventually need to leave and go back to real life. Just some practical infos: there's no wifi for the guests, but we had a Cambodian SIM card and it worked the entire time. But to be fair, the best thing to do here is turn off your phone and enjoy your stay. For transport in and out of the island, there are two boats a day, but if you need a different time, a private boat can be arranged for a bit extra (be prepared to get wet up to your waist in the process). There's no atm on the island so be sure to bring enough cash (and plan to bring extra, because trust me, you will want to extend your stay).

This Airbnb was truly something special — set on a quiet, breathtaking beach with everything you need for a perfect stay. The resort staff were outstanding: warm, attentive, and full of great recommendations for exploring the island. We’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. Much love, Phil & Paula

I stayed with a friend and we both agree that it was an excellent place. One has to be aware, as I was, that it is a rustic and simple bungalow -internet is quite unstable (but who wants to be hiperconnected when you look for relax?) and there are not much than a wonderful, very confortable bed. (I would recommend to bring your own shampoo and soap.) The fan was enough to stand the heat. The place is beautiful, confortable , and the host responsive, friendly and helpful.

Wie waren für 5 Tage bei Trung und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist bissel abgelegener, was für uns aber wirklich Perfekt war. Wir können die Unterkunft nur Empfehlen für alle die mal runter kommen wollen. Bis zum nächsten Mal LG Frederik und Vivi

We LOVED our time at Cay Sao. A fabulous family-run business that never failed to take care of us. Yo Yo was our expert driver on several excursions , Nhu Nhu was always there to assist(and is a great chef) Nhu Nhu gave great recommendations for excursions and arranged everything. I did not catch the name of their Mom, but she made the best cha gio (deep fried spring roll) I have had in Vietnam. We ate all of our meals at the resort and didn’t come close to trying all of the tasty dishes. The resort is on the quieter side of the island (we loved the peace and quiet) but the activities and excursions are easily accessible by chatting with Nhu Nhu. Felt like a home stay with resort amenities! Perfectly suited to our more laidback style and an amazing value. We recommend the resort heartily!

Super hôte ! Pont qui peut conduire à la ville mais en reconstruction qui nous a fait faire un détour . Suchin très rendant service nous a conduit à Phimai si besoin . Retours en taxi moto faciles . Phimai super ville de l’Isan !

at first i was a bit skeptical as the tuktuk took a long time to get to the place (no fault of the airbnb, it’s easy to find if you google map ‘the basket homestay’) but wow what a place! if you hire a scooter it’ll be easy to get to and from town and it’s seriously worth staying here if you visit siem reap. the staff who work here are also so lovely and helpful. they really made our stay here so much better and we even got to try the disc golf which my boyfriend really enjoyed! if we come back to siem reap we will definitely be staying here again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans notre joli bungalow bleu. Loïc nous a donné des conseils très utiles dès notre arrivée qui ont rendu notre séjour agréable. Nous avons particulièrement aimé la proximité de la plage et la possibilité d’utiliser la cuisine.

We had a great time at Do Anh’s place. The location is beautiful and the bungalow looked like the pictures. The pool and breakfast were also great editions. The bungalow is a bit outdated and doesn’t have insulation, so it’s very noisy at times. I used earplugs at night to help with this.

la grande piscine est très appréciée pour quelqu'un qui aime nager. La cuisine aussi avec des marchands de fruits, légumes et poissons et fruits de mer tout proche. Le marché en direction de l'aéroport juste en face du site Sunset sanato est un super bon marché pour le poisson ou les écrevisses. La mer pour se baigner est a 500m en direction de Phu Quoc city où il y a un peu plus loin a 4 kms un grand centre commercial pour tout type d'achat alimentaire ou vestimentaire. la location de scooter est nécessaire pour faire tout ça.

Un hébergement propre, où l'on retrouve tout le nécessaire. On s’y sent à la fois chez soi et en toute intimité. Le jardin et les jeux pour les enfants est un vrais plus. Un peu éloigné de la rue principale mais relativement proche 15min à pied environs

Amazing hosts! I can’t say enough good things. Food was great. The apartment was perfect for a family 4. The kids loved the pool. We also enjoyed the feel of being snuggled in the jungle. I will say that my favorite was the drinks and conversation before/during/after dinner (and on the way into town)! Highly recommend!!

A really beautiful little spot along the river for a bit of respite from the big city. Enjoyed watching the sunset and playing cards on the balcony, and taking out the bikes to explore along the rivers. Breakfast was delicious too!
