Newly converted hilltop Chapel

RachelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We’ve just come back from a lovely long weekend staying in Gina’s beautiful converted chapel. The property is very tastefully designed and felt very much like a suite in a luxury country hotel. There are stunning walks and rolling countryside from the doorstep and Berwick St John is a very pretty little village. It was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend with our dog and truly felt like a home from home that we hope to return to again.

Stunning barn with own garden

AllissaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Frankie was a lovely Airbnb host and the barn was everything we’d hoped for. Slept our family of 6 (4 kids and 2 dogs) comfortably- so comfortable our kids slept better at the barn then they do at home (7 am wake ups instead of 5:30!) The barn is FULLY equipped with nice appliances and you’re welcomed with some very lovely farm treats and touches. Shaftesbury is an absolutely beautiful town and felt very central for everything we wanted to do. Thank you Frankie for being a lovely all around person and for accommodating our brood x would definitely stay again.

The Hideaway

PeterRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The flat was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We loved the setting – from the balcony looking out over the lovely garden and the fields beyond. Jacqueline was a very friendly and helpful host. We were sad to leave.

The Snug: Dorset hideaway

CameronRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely place to stay. It was very private and cosy, with a comfy bed, large TV, sofa, and a kitchen stocked with cooking utensils. The TV had the facility to watch streaming services on it which was great. The rain shower was nice. Blandford Forum is a nice town and it has lots of independent restaurants and cafes. It was easy to drive to attractions such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove in around 40 mins.

No.8 Parsons Pool

JeremyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Super location right in the centre of Shaftesbury. Morrisons is super close like all the pubs and shops in town. Some nice pubs there and dog friendly too. Only negative if you can call it negative is there is limited parking outside and for 1 hour only. If you had lots of heavy bags you may find it awkward but beautiful location.

Two bedrooms, shower and breakfast

RonaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Three of us, the youngest a toddler, enjoyed very much our stay at Childe Oakford. We felt welcome, very well catered for and relaxed in Rosemary’s beautifully kept house. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and breakfast in the dining room was delightful looking out to the garden. Rosemary made sure we had everything we might need and gave us local knowledge about where to visit. We had a key and felt free to come and go as we wished. Milo the dog was a most congenial host too!
