The Potting Shed - cosy country cottage

FlorenceRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had such a lovely stay at the Potting Shed. The location was beautiful- so peaceful and picturesque. The Airbnb was cosy and the bed was extremely comfy. We were there in 30 degree heat but it was lovely and cool inside. Would highly recommend and would love to come back one day and stay again!

Cottage near Bath- private hot tub, pets welcome

ChristianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed our Short (2-Night) stay a lot. Poppy responded Short Term on Any queries we had. Hot tub outside and stove in the living&dining room were exceptional Features you rarely find at places in this Price categorie. Water quality and temperature in the Hot tub were Perfect. Like other guests commented prior, the Noise of the Main Road isnt really a downside, at least not later in the evening. Though it is noisy inside if you Open any window to the road side and entering and exiting the parking area at the House from the Main Road needs some willpower at the beginning. The Region, the Host and the Location definitely deserve a longer stay. Christian, Claudia, Caius & Roswitha say: Thank You!

Entire Guest House, Rural Retreat, Stanton Drew

ChristinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Cute property, clean, no direct access to the hot tub area but it is just across the driveway and is very secluded so wasn't a problem. Downstairs rooms slightly damp feel but then again it is a very old building so didn't bother us much. Very well connected to Bath and Bristol.

The Lodge - Cosy cottage & Hot tub nr Bristol city

ShalayneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Charming and quaint - a great place for families to stay near the Cotswolds. We had a few hiccups on our trip due to things out of our control but the host was super kind and did what she could to make it a great experience for us. The cottage is well kept and has good spaces (bathroom was nice and updated as well as the kitchen) and the bedrooms worked great to fit our family. All in all, I'd recommend a stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay and loved how peaceful it was. The welcome gifts from Joy were great, and she provided us with vegan goodies which was much appreciated. Lots of helpful info provided (like using the hot tub etc) which helped ease us in and feel at home!

The Cottage, Parsonage Farmhouse with hot tub

HarrietRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a really lovely stay here this week. The garden is beautiful, so peaceful and we even saw a woodpecker hopping around the grass one afternoon. Our daughter adored the trampoline and climbing frame, we also really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub each day after exploring. We did day trips to Lyme Regis, Beer and Forde Abbey & Gardens. A perfect, peaceful spot to spend a few days, thank you.

Charming Stone Cottage: Hot Tub, Games Room

MartynRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Very well appointed and great for a family, we had an 18 month old with us. The games room is a little gimmicky but was fun along with all the board games as we had a little one with us so adds a little to the stay along with the hot tub and beautiful garden as couldn’t pop to the pub in the evening. There is also a cache of cars which our daughter loved to play with, it was these nice little touches that made a difference. Some great recommends from the host and the local area is handy and beautiful with a play park just a 10 min walk away. Recommend the Rose and Crown pub on a sunny day, 15-20minute walk, garden is great and little slide for kids. Traffic is the only downside to the area really but the house is nestled away from it all.

Tranquil modern cottage with outdoor bateau bath

BernadetteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Glebe Farm Cottage has been simply perfect during my nearly 2 month stay this May & June with my cocker spaniel. It has everything you need for a relaxed break; incredible views, sunsets, local walks, an alfresco bath in the private gravel garden with lashings of hot water to relax in & listen to the birdsong & the buzzing of the bees. You can lie there sipping your favourite wine and enjoy the utter quiet, interspersed with the occasional air display from nearby Compton Abbas airfield. The village is gorgeous, ducklings on the pond, handy coffee and essentials vending machines tucked just 50yards away from the cottage for you & walkers who visit this lovely place. Tessa has been the perfect host, touching base when needed & providing the softest linen for the most comfortable sleep imaginable. The cottage is wonderfully laid out and decorated & I’m definitely taking some house & garden design tips to my new home. Thank you, it’s been fabulous.

Hill House Cottage

MaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely few days staying in Templecombe. The cottage is very comfortable with a cosy living room, well equipped kitchen and two good-sized bedrooms with really comfy duvets! Our only regret is we didn't get to use the fireplace in the living room as the weather was so nice! James was really accommodating and friendly, and gave us some great recommendations for things to do with our two small children. We loved visiting Stourhead and had a delicious Sunday lunch at the beautiful Story Pig farm. A lovely break!

Traditional Country Cottage

ClaudiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our first holiday with our 3 month old and it was perfect. Carrianne went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even leaving us some nappies! We had plenty of space to cook and relax in the evenings. Brilliant dinner at the pub next door which is worth a visit - very friendly landlord and surprisingly tasty food. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Somerset

DavidRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Clerk Cottage is a true delight, by far one of the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Every detail has been thought of in order to ensure a comfortable stay, very high quality, we loved it. Have to also mention the fabulous shower! Close to some great walks through the church grounds. I hope being right next to a graveyard doesn’t put you off as this cottage is a true gem. So much we extended our stay and can highly recommend, thank you Claire.

PRETTY GEORGIAN COTTAGE IN A VILLAGE NEAR BATH

StephanieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Gillian’s gift of eggs and scones for breakfast was a godsend! The towels were huge, the garden lush. We lit a fire and listened to the doves coo late into the night. We were sore from a week of travel and her cottage was a respite. Thank you!!!

The Stone Barn - Luxury Barn in Rural Wiltshire

MichelleRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a wonderful time at the Stone Barn! Nicky and Mark provided a beautiful home away from home that couldn’t have been better. It’s so peaceful and the views are amazing. The place was clean (beware if you’re not a fan of spiders though as there are a decent amount in corners, bathroom, etc due to the countryside location I’m sure) and they even gave us a lovely welcome package with local food items. They were responsive and made sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to call home in the Cotswolds area. We were within 1-1.5 hrs drive of all the major sightseeing places which was perfect.

Tack Cottage, Honeywood Stables

AuriannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay on Vivian’s farm was oh so lovely! The cottage was everything we needed, including a kitchen filled with everything we needed as people who love to cook (minus an oven) and a washer to clean our clothes as backpackers. The only thing to note is the bed is SUPER soft which may not be for you if you’re sensitive. Her property was so peaceful and her cat, Gingertom, was very sweet! Being within close proximity (with a car) to the sacred sites was perfect. Thanks, Vivian!

Lavender Lodge Corsley | Cottage near Longleat

MarcRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A fabulous, very quiet location for a few days away. This was our second time staying at Debbie's and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. It's a very quiet location, perfect for us, with plenty of walking and just a stones throw from Longleat. We had no problems at all with the home, everything was just as Debbie had described and she even gave a quick knock when we arrived just to make sure we were happy. There's really nothing we would say was anything other than perfect. Other reviewers have commented upon the shower not being very powerful, which is true because of the very rural and remote location, but we found it perfectly adequate for the job nonetheless. We cooked and ate in on two of the three nights we stayed and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you Debbie, maybe we'll be back for a third time next year...although the vandal monkeys at Longleat might be bypassed next time!

Beautiful new studio cottage with off-road parking

MariaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I will come back again and again, beautiful Cabina with everything you need in the kitchen, it also has a washer if you need it, very private, but the best is that it’s across the street from the famous Bath Sky Line, if you like hiking, walking, plain watching the most spectacular view of the town and mountains this is your place! It’s about 20 mins walking to downtown bath and the walk is just the most beautiful, I found it perfect to being close to the town but away enough for some privacy. The uphill is challenging but plenty of cute stops to immerse yourself in the magnificent landscape. I will be back for sure

Beautiful country cottage with tennis court

KarinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My husband and I had the most amazing bank holiday weekend at Olly and Francis’s lovely cottage. Francis was very welcoming from the moment we arrived and was super friendly and generous throughout. The kitchen was well stocked up and they kindly provided fresh sourdough bread and eggs. Francis had also pre-prepared the fire place so that all we had to do was light it. The grounds are beautiful with nice spots where you can sit and enjoy the views. We also had fun playing tennis. They also provided excellent pub recommendations. Overall, we had a very relaxing stay and didn’t want to leave. Thanks again Francis for the great hospitality!

'The Nook', luxury hidaway. Near Bath and Wells.

EliseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A beautiful property in a lovely peaceful village with a shop, 2 pubs serving food and lovely walks around the area. Chilcompton is close enough to major tourist spots including Wells, Bath, Cheddar Gorge and Glastonbury so excellent location for exploring Somerset. The inside was immaculate and has everything you need. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely white linen. Bathroom is downstairs so future guests need to be happy with that. Private garden and lovely covered seating area. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Victoria very approachable and communicated very well. We had a slight issue with some ongoing noise from the plumbing which was dealt with as soon as we mentioned it. Would highly recommend staying here.
