Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking & stunning views of the local lake & Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with a double bed upstairs & sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a series of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high without guardrails, there is also a shallow pond.

The Historic Masbury Station Signal Box, originally built in 1874 has now been sympathetically restored and converted to create an idyllic, remote getaway. This private, self contained accommodation surrounded by ancient railway & woodland offers a gorgeous interior with log burning stove, a tranquil setting to get cosy, relax and unwind. With stunning walks on the doorstep and many nearby Somerset landmarks to explore, this is the perfect unique escape to retreat or enjoy time with loved ones.

Wren's Nest, studio in wildlife friendly garden

Located in a small hamlet, close to Cheddar, Wren's Nest was designed by an artist as a rural retreat in a tranquil location. The accommodation has a light, airy feel and has been thoughtfully created in a contemporary style with quirky, personal touches. It is located at the end of our wildlife friendly garden. There is a designated area with table and chairs in front of the studio. A pizza oven is available to use on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. ‘Bertha’ is a 1947 restored Showman’s Wagon. Set in its own private garden, surrounded by secluded, beautiful, AONB countryside, situated between the villages of Cheddar and Draycott. The site is an ideal retreat for nature lovers, walkers, or those who wish to enjoy and explore the Mendips, the Somerset Levels, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and more. Lake Loft

Lake Loft is a self-contained room above a recently built oak garage overlooking Blagdon Lake. Set in the grounds of our home in the quiet but beautiful village of Blagdon, we are about 20 mins from Wells, 25 mins from Bristol and 45 mins from Bath, there are plenty of things to do and places to explore. The room is open plan, with a king sized bed, sofa, table and chairs and shower room. Whilst there is no kitchen, there are excellent pubs and cafes close by perfect for a relaxing break.

The Beehive, at Snatch Farm, Ubley is a new refurbishment of old farm buildings, tucked round the back of Snatch Farm. There is 1 double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, open plan sitting /dining room and bathroom. Surrounded by countryside this is a truly peaceful place. Perfect for couples or individuals to explore the beautiful Chew Valley and Mendip Hills and the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. The Beehive is next to our family home with access via our garden. The Studio in Blagdon

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Directly opposite Blagdon Church, with beautiful walks to be discovered nearby and of course a stunning view of Blagdon lake. The New Inn Pub (next door) is run by Yeo Valley, offers lunch and dinner as well as breathtaking panoramic views of the lake over a drink in the gardens. The Studio is a 5 minute drive from Combe Lodge and Aldwick and a 30 minute walk away. Perfect for wedding guests. Bristol Airport is a 10 minute drive away

Wood stoves for those chillier nights to keep things cosy , we provide all wood/kindling . You will need to manage the stove yourself , a relatively easy task .
