Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Menton

Erwin and Liliane are very friendly hosts, they live ‘next door’ but never intruded on our privacy. They were very helpful when we asked about anything (how to work the gas plancha, which villages to visit) The view is absolutely stunning. We had a large terrace plus the pool area to admire it from and of course the pool itself which I used every day. The area is a mix of busy coastal towns and quieter mountain scenery and villages. Great restaurant nearby. The apartment itself is a little old fashioned in places, but it had everything we needed. We were very happy there. Thank you Liliane and Erwin!

Our stay at Carina's was perfect! The accommodation is exactly as described and the loft is superbly equipped! Carine has thought of almost everything in the furnishings. The outdoor area and the pool were also great. Thank you for the lovely holiday :)

Raymond and his son were lovely hosts. Our stay in menton was great. Their house is easy to access via the bus route. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The outdoor area was relaxing with lovely views. We would recommend, and we would stay again!

Had a fantastic stay at Jon's place in Villefranche. The house is set up perfectly for a family gathering and stands up to the pictures. Well located in the hills above Villefranche-sur-mer, it served as a great base for our family to explore the area around Nice.

A rare place that doesn’t feel like a rental — it truly feels like being a guest at Celine’s home. Authentic, full of soul, with incredible attention to detail and a perfect location. I hope to come back again!

I cannot describe in words how beautiful and amazing our stay was, but I will try. The location: Beautiful place. House located uphill but there are buses from the centre (close to the beach) that leaves you close to the house. We just walked uphill each day and cooled off in the pool later ;) Sergia was kind enough to offer picking us up from the centre a few times too but the walk is quite nice. The house: Exactly as described and as in pictures. Serene garden, cute pool, well stocked kitchen and cozy interiors. This villa comes with a terrace with a sea view, a beautiful front garden. The other villa has a slightly larger front garden. Since no one was in the other villa, Sergia let us go in there as well. There is a common garden out front with the pool. Everything was beautiful and cozy. The hosts: Sergia and Orso were so kind, I cannot explain it. Sergia baked us some cake and cut us some fruit. Because we were late to get there, Orso even went grocery shopping for us.

Absolutely loved staying in the tent although it was so lovely it seems a little dull to call it a tent! Loved the location so peaceful and relaxing after a few days sightseeing. The site itself had everything you could possibly need lots of great little touches.

Great place, very convenient location and splendid garden.

Great place with all amenities for our group of 4 couples. The walk back from town for restaurants (over 400 steps is not for the faint hearted) but overall the view and amenities top class. Two very good bedrooms, one ok and one poor, but pool superb with outlook. Good kitchen. Plenty of crockery cutlery. Pool towels provided. Free parking good as car is a must. Very responsive host. 4 bathrooms good but inability to put paper down toilets a bit of a drawback.

Alfredo is the best host you can imagine. Friendly, helpful and communicates quickly and easily. He really goes the extra mile for you as a tenant. Top marks! The apartment is very nice with incredible views as it is so high. Proximity to both shops and transport, such as trains and buses, really makes life easier. The accommodation is high up, so you have to walk up a hill, but the view makes it worth it. You can hear the traffic, but it is not disturbing even though you are in the middle of a city. The walk down to the old town takes about 10 minutes and then you reach all the small shops, restaurants and of course the sea. The bus that takes you to, for example, Monaco can be found just below the accommodation in only a couple of minutes. The bus to the flight also goes there. We usually chose to take the train, which is a walk of about 6 minutes, as it takes a simple and quick route along the entire coastline to both Italy and the entire French Riviera. Menton, in fact, is a cozy little town. We highly recommend Menton and especially Alfredo as a host.

The view is just stunning, we enjoyed breakfast and evening meals on the balcony; with views like that we preferred to cook ourselves in the evening, after long days exploring the area we wanted to make the most of the peace and the sound of the sea! The apartment has everything you need for a fantastic stay, kitchen very well equipped, including basic condiments. Bed was super comfortable. Lift to the small “wilderness” beach directly below the property is an experience, it does cost 45€ extra (payable on arrival), but you can ride it as many times as you want! Beach very quiet during the week off season, but we arrived on a Sunday and it was packed. You definitely need a car if staying here, car parking is very secure. There are a couple of restaurants less than 10 mins walk, and then a few more in the port, but Ventimiglia Alta does feel quite “tired”, probably a different vibe in high season though! We would definitely stay again, a great base, very relaxing. Thanks Cristina

If you want to have Monaco in the palm of your hand, enjoy breakfast with French baguettes, cheese and grapes, and sip wine on a balcony overlooking hills and yachts — this is the best choice. Stop searching and book this place now. The friendly approach of the host, Martin, was incredible. Martin feels like a close friend who’s always available, ready to recommend places in the area, and his place is a true game changer in Monaco. I’ll definitely be back soon. I give it 11/10.

This was our second time staying in this apartment, and once again, everything was perfect. First of all, the location is excellent — in our opinion, the best area to stay in Menton. The apartment itself is very comfortable, with large windows and a lovely balcony overlooking a quiet inner courtyard shaded by palm trees. Despite being in a lively area, the apartment is surprisingly quiet, which we really appreciate. The flat is clean and well-equipped with everything you might need — there are even portable beach loungers, which came in very handy. Another great feature is the subscription parking card for a nearby garage. The area is popular and the garage can get full, but there’s usually an attendant at the entrance, and with the card, you’re always let in and can find a spot. Ada, the host, is always quick to respond and communicates very clearly — it’s a real pleasure to deal with her. A wonderful place — we’ll definitely be coming back!

Yevan is an amazing host. The apartment was very clean and nice. He even managed to arrange that we could check-in earlier than planned. He’s also very responsive, whenever we had questions he replied almost immediately providing support. Thank you so much for the great care.

It was one of the most beautiful air bnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The views were incredible and it had such a cute kitchen. It was the perfect location to many restaurants and many beaches.

If you are reading this, just go ahead and book Francois’ apartment right now. This apartment has an amazing terrace overlooking the beach and Mediterranean, is right on the promenade for walks/runs, is basically next door to the Negresco, and is a short walk and even shorter tram ride into town. The apartment was spotless, air conditioning worked well, and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The large memory foam mattress was comfortable and the rain shower was very nice after a hot day walking around. The beach is literally less than a minute from the front door and you have the choice of public beach or private beach club (where you can order a spritz right to your beach chair). Francois was a great host — he sent video instructions before check in and was flexible when our travel got delayed last minute. The only minor thing to be aware of is the restaurant downstairs, which can get noisy on the weekend (but is generally very manageable). Overall a great value & highly recommend.

Great place to stay next to the beach & walking distance to the city center. All though next to the Main Street the place has a double sliding glass window to keep the traffic noise out and a shade system to block the sun if needed. I will stay here again
