Holiday rentals with a kayak in Merida

Hicimos un viaje en familia extendida donde pudimos convivir todos ya que los espacios son muy adecuados para alojar 16 personas comodamente y los amenities de primera. El área de Tulumcito te permite resguardarte del viento y le da un toque muy comodo sin tener a restaurantes. El servicio de Victor y Concha (que se tienen que contratar aparte) fueron muy utiles y su ayuda a cocinar y mantener el orden fueron de gran ayuda. Asi mismo nos permitió hacer actividades en grupo de Padel y foot ball asi como kitear desde la comodicad de la casa. Recomiendo ampliamente este lugar, todos los que estuvimos en el viaje (desde 85 hasta 8 años), estuvimos de acuerdo que mucho del exito del viaje fue haber elegido el lugar correcto. Volveremos el proximo año. Gracias!

Bonita casa, con cocina / utensilios, y kayaks para la playa. Zona tranquila, puedes sentir la privacidad y disfrutar de la playa. Siempre atentos y responden rápido a las dudas que puedas tener... Buenas recomendaciones para tours y restaurantes.

Herman’s house on the beach in Chuburna is beautifully designed and thoroughly comfortable. I chose it based on reviews, its unique appearance, privacy and location away from touristy areas. Progreso, however, is 20 minutes away and offers a supermarket, restaurants etc. Having a car is highly recommended for those who want to visit points of interest in the Yucatán, such as the Mayan archeological site at Uxmal, the flamingoes in the Celestun biosphere. and various cenotes - all experiences well worth the drive. The Mayan museum in Mérida is also wonderful to visit. Herman’s onsite list was very good guidance for what not to miss. Thoroughly recommend this house. Linda

Honest review: it's fair to say it was a fantastic stay. Amazing sunsets. The hosts were very responsive both before and during the stay. The place is down a long and narrow dirt road but once you get to the home, it's true paradise. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out, and there is plenty of room for parking. This home is truly steps from the Gulf and there's ample patio space. I loved the thatched roof area with the table, which had lights for the evening. Wifi was strong. Things to keep in mind (some of which are out of the owner's control): having a rental car is a must, it's down a long road that is a fair walk from main road. Air conditioning is present in every bedroom, but not the main living space/kitchen, which can get warm in hot weather even with the large ceiling fans. There is not much beach in front of the home, and barely any in neighboring properties - it's not an area where you can go for long walks on the beach. Rent this place for a quiet beach vacation!

Came for a girls trip and we had the best time. The house is nice and the ac in the rooms work well. We spent the entire trip by the pool and on the beach. The cabana is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee while soaking in the beach. We had someone cook for us while we were there and just ran to the store for snacks and anything we needed. Maria was easy to communicate with and assisted us with any request we had. This was the perfect beach getaway. I would definitely go back!

Todo excelente, todo el tiempo hubo buena comunicación desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos. Muy buenos anfitriones y el lugar está muy bonito, sin duda volveré muchas gracias por sus atenciones.

Una joyita para desconectarse con la playa a unos cuantos metros, la casa impecable, con todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones formidables

What an incredible stay! The house is exactly as described- directly on the sea. Every morning it was calm as glass until 11:30a- could walk 60+ft out to a sandbar. It’s a small beach but you can walk along the coast to collect shells/look at the other beach homes. AC is only wall units in the living room, kitchen, bedrooms- it was warm in the afternoon or when cooking. The upstairs unit couldn’t keep up so we slept downstairs instead. But nothing to worry about. Spending each sunset on the rooftop was our highlight. And the pool when it was windy in the afternoon! Add 2 cholorine tablets daily to keep the water blue. Chelem is a tiny charming town. Chedraui in Merida and Progreso are best for groceries. Try Pescadería Cristo Rey IN Chelem- there is a Cristo Rey in Chuburna but it’s not as good. Plan for takeout- we had the best camarones ceviche and pescado frito. Also book a trip to Isla Los Columpios, ojo de agua, and Playa los Carbonaras! We already want to come back!!

This is the best place to be right in front of the water. Quiet spot , clean pool and great view of the sea.

Execelente ubicación, es una zona muy tranquila para disfrutar de la playa o la piscina. El servicio del chófer fue execelente, muy amigable y nos proporcionó información importante y precisa de la casa. En cuanto a la casa todo en orden y cómodo

Miguel’s place is wonderful, it was beyond our expectations and even more beautiful than what we expected. It was all clean and put together, Juan who is the person in charge is great and very helpful. We will be back definitely as we had a very pleasant stay. Just worth notice if you need to get to the little towns surrounding the place I would recommend renting a car. Great great location

Tiene todo lo necesario, no esperaba despensa pero sí hubo y todo en la cocina bastante bien equipado, las camas limpias, los servicios no fallaron, la playa muy tranquila y excelente para niños solo hubo bastante aire algunos días pero se disfrutó bastante, estacionamiento techado y amplio se agradece, la distribución de habitaciones es buena. Pensamos que piscina pero es jacuzzi y de pronto nos quedó pequeño, pero es agradable
