This house is absolutely wonderful, warm, clean, and very comfortable. It’s perfect for families with both kids and elderly guests. The Matt has clearly put a lot of thought into setting up the space. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including cookware and kids’ utensils. There’s even a high chair and a baby cot available, which made things so much easier for us. There are lots of toys and books for children, and the trampoline in the backyard was a big hit! Our whole family really loved staying here. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Huge thanks to Matt for such a thoughtful and well prepared home!

A lovely spacious home that felt very homely! It was super private and close to everything we needed. We had our little baby with us and Joan was lovely and left out the porter cot and crib. We usually stay in the city and don’t usually have parking so that was a major bonus. We just made use of the parking space as our truck was a bit big to fit in the garage but this was not a problem for us at all as the front door is right there. Joan was a lovely and responsive host!

We had travelled a very long way, the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, a very good nights sleep. The place was so lovely we added an extra night.

John’s place is a wonderful spot in the heart of the city centre. Everything we needed was in walking distance from restaurants, cafes, clothing stores and much more. It was peaceful and quiet and had perfect amenities for the cold nights e.g. heated bathroom flooring. Highly recommend John’s place to stay!

We had the best weekend in the city celebrating a birthday and just loved Sue and Jeff’s fabulous apartment. We arrived to a birthday card and a bottle of bubbly, such a thoughtful touch and we loved all the other little extras that were provided. It was the most perfect location and we loved coming back to our warm, cosy and very relaxing abode at the end of the day. We will definitely return. Thanks Sue and Jeff.

This place is a gem! It had everything I needed for my 5 night stay. And so many things are within easy walking distance (cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, parks, museums). If I ever return to Christchurch, I’d love to book it again.

This apartment is charming, clean, quiet, and conveniently located. There are numerous excellent restaurants nearby, and the city center is just a 10-minute walk away. It provides a homely atmosphere that we truly appreciate. We adore this place and will certainly return. Highly recommended.

This was a beautiful place to stay with everything we needed. The drinks and breakfast food provided was super delicious. Incredible view over the beach. The spa was fantastic and private. Bed was comfy. Host is very friendly and we loved that we could bring our pooch with us too. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience.

Josie’s apartment is in a great location, within walking distance of the city centre and the main tourist attractions and has a number of bar/eateries and a great bakery right next door. Josie is also a clear, concise and responsive communicator. I had a great week and would return again. Calvin

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway! Just my wife and I. Great set up with everything you need. The view is incredible. So nice to wake up to the scenery. Highly recommend and will certainly return for some RnR. Great host with clear communication which made arrival super easy

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Susan’s! The house was spacious and adequately equipped. It was also very well located as it’s a very short drive and probably about 10-15min walk to the central city! Susan was also a great host — she’s very quick to respond to our queries, gave clear and easy instructions for checking in/out, and overall made our stay very enjoyable!

This is an absolute gem of an Airbnb, beautifully decorated has everything you need, and a five minute walk to the city. Everything is super convenient and Lily, our host, was quick to respond and patient. I will definitely come back!

We had a great stay overall—the home matched the listing, was clean, and check-in was hassle-free. The only downside was that the heater in one of the bedrooms wasn’t working, so that room got a bit chilly at night. Everything else was just as described, and the host was friendly and responsive. Once the heater’s fixed, this place will be perfect!
