Cabin holiday rentals in Merritt

We stayed at the Dollhouse for 2 nights and had a wonderful time! It was gorgeous, the property is well maintained and pretty private. Some things to note: It's not 100% quiet and peaceful. There is a worksite in the next lot, but it wasn't too loud. The loudest thing that isn't nature is the highway, you can definitely hear it all the time. that being said it was still well secluded visually from neighbors and the roads. And we had some excellent bird watching from the hot tub! There is NOT a bathtub, so if you have small kiddos that need a tub I don't think this spot will work for you. The owners had bird seed available and a small variety of movies, board games and books. Overall it was a great stay and a lovely birthday! The spot is close to Bellingham and some natural areas and parks. I would definitely recommend couples, small groups of friends, and families with older children to stay in this beautiful little cabin!

We went for a peaceful weekend getaway and got exactly what we wanted! The kitchen was well stocked, the hot tub was clean and relaxing, and the mountains were gorgeous. Easy to get to from Seattle with amazing hikes, local food, and beer. What more could you want? Will definitely stay again. Sherry and Stu

Had a great stay here for a couple of nights. The cabin was really clean and well stocked. Beautiful quiet area up above Penticton. Hot tub was a really nice feature! The hosts were very responsive to our questions. would recommend!

Beautiful cabin with so much to do! Such a comfortable get away with a peaceful neighborhood. The cabin was close to trails and delicious restaurants. Salena was so quick and responsive to any questions we had and was an amazing host! We will definitely come back again!

When we found the listing for The Nixon Cabin and saw the photos, we were very intrigued by both the cabin and the location. I read almost every review that was posted about the cabin and noticed that nearly all of the reviews had one thing in common. The reviewers all talked about how their experience staying at the cabin exceeded their expectations. Knowing this, I already had high expectations when we arrived for our stay. This place did not disappoint! It far exceeded my expectations even though they were already set high! We enjoyed it so much that we found excuses not to leave the cabin to explore the Fraser Valley. We had an extremely relaxing time! The cabin is very comfortable and charmingly rustic, the location is secluded and private, and the views from the deck and hot tub are spectacular! We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone and would love to stay there again. This place is a real gem!

Booked this cabin for the second time, and it was just as magical as the first. The vibe here is the real deal.

Incredibly peaceful place to relax and unwind, just what I needed for me and my dog. The cabin is gorgeous, well outfitted! We were mesmerised daily by the wildlife around the lake, staring at the jumping fish, the eagles soaring and the loons… if you need to recharge and unwind in peace this is the place!!

We love this cabin so much!!! It is a gem!!! Lisa is wonderful and very fast responding!! It’s perfect for a couple! We also have a small dog we always bring with us! She is family!! The walk to the park is just perfect for her! It’s our home away from home❤️

This is a super cute cosy cabin with every attention to detail from extra linens to the most comfortable bed and futon! So cute with all the decor and nearby pond makes it the most beautiful spot here! So much attention to detail, for humans and dogs. Kelsey was so friendly and super responsive, We were very, very happy and would love to return again.

We spent 2 nights here for a ladies weekend with 8 of us. The cabin was cozy, super clean, kitchen well stocked with all essentials, and beds were comfy! The outdoor space was magical and the whole trip felt like a home away from home. We will definitely be back here again.

We loved staying in the barn! Colleen was very generous in providing us with eggs, cookies, fruit and bagels. She even brought us a bottle of local wine to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The setting is beautiful with a walking trail very close. The goats are incredibly friendly and fun to hang out with.

Amazing location right on the lake with all the water toys you could possibly need. Close to mountain bike. Wonderfully furnished and an all around perfect place to stay for a week in Bellingham.

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin, with amazing forest area, it felt very secluded. The inside of the house had plenty of room and was a very comfortable stay.

This cottage is outstanding. The view, the river, arnie… thank you for everything my friend. Your an outstanding host and enjoyed every bit of being there and getting to know the community there. This cottage was so pristine, cultural and rustic. It had everything that a person needs and more. The dogs are great and protective of the area. The wood stove is huge. Such a nice heat, the cottage was super clean as well. Again, thanks arnie and all for making this a very comfortable stay. Cheers!!!

Best hosts I’ve had so far! I recommend getting your groceries before arrival because it’s so peaceful, you don’t want to go back to town. Clean, helpful, and peaceful. 10/10. Would stay again!

Very nice cabins on a beautiful lake. Each of 3 couples had their own cabins. Big grassed area for lawn games. Big firepit area. Our dog loved to roam around after birds and the furry critters. The main cabin is a lovely home away from home withe everything you need.

Ideal place for those looking for a quiet getaway. The Place isn’t too isolated but quiet enough for a relaxing stay. Loved the cedar wood interior and its scent. Campfire in the backyard was great, loads of wood available for use. The place had all the things we needed to cook, eat, clean, shower, and sleep. Sofa was just enough for 3 adults. There’s construction happening right next site, but nobody was there during our stay. Would consider coming back for another stay in the future.

Brian was really responsive during our short stay. We loved the property, everything was so beautiful and cozy. It was in the perfect location for our plans in the mountains.

An absolute Gem of a location and cozy cabin in a quiet remote location. I listened to the coyotes yipping. The birds were singing in the early morning. I will be staying there again recommend it to everyone.
