We had a wonderful stay at Starlight Villa. Nestled beside Mount Kinabalu, the setting is serene, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. One of the highlights was the private stream—perfect for a quiet moment or simply enjoying the sounds of flowing water. The villa itself was cozy and well-maintained, and the host was incredibly easy to communicate with, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. On the whole, a truly relaxing getaway in a beautiful location. Highly recommended!

Staying at Mt. Kinabalu Homestead was simply great. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. My family absolutely loved it — from the cozy rooms to the thoughtful touches throughout the home, not to mention the garden at the back where our children could explore. Margaret was an exceptional host — warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She gave us wonderful recommendations on places to visit and even helped arrange a private taxi for our family. Her hospitality and care truly made our trip extra special. We’d definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

overall great private villa for family stay, great view from the balcony and amongst the green. Location is a bit far out from Kundasang town

place is new and host is extremely responsive. if you are looking for a place that can fit the whole family, then look no further. infact they have a connecting doors to the next houses. place is clean too! we had a really nice stay
