Historically, Poliani has recorded up to this day more than 45 Byzantine temples while the church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary survives from the Byzantine period with remarkable frescoes of the 12th century.

The sunset from the balcony with a glass of wine is a unique experience that one has to experience as highly recommended!
