House holiday rentals in Metairie

My family stayed here for a weekend-long celebration of my birthday, and it was perfect for 10 adults - large well-provisioned kitchen, ample bathrooms, and large comfortable bedrooms. It's worth noting though that 3 of the bedrooms are attached railroad style, which was fine for us. The pool area was also beautiful and chill to relax after a few long days of being out and about. Highly recommend a stay here!

The location of Jason’s house was great - we were within a 10-15 minute drive of just about everything we wanted to do. The house looked exactly like the pictures but was bigger than the pictures make it look. Jason was very responsive when we had questions and provided local recommendations.

This was our second time staying at one of Thomas' properties, and we had another great stay. The home is beautifully decorated and maintained, and has everything you need for an easy and enjoyable stay. Thomas was very accommodating with check-in time and our last-minute request for a pack n' play -- a fantastic host! We found the neighborhood very friendly, and enjoyed the proximity to the Lafitte Greenway (access is just a block away -- we didn't even realize this when we rented the place!) and local businesses like Flour Moon and the Broadside. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience. Rob and Crystal were very welcoming and communicative throughout my stay. Location was great in regards to distance from the main attractions. My friends and I had a great stay and would stay here again if ever back in NOLA! Thank you

Sara & Mark are New Orleans to the core. They keep a lovingly decorated and beautiful historic house, they love their city and they want you to enjoy yourself. So kind, so accommodating, so thoughtful. They're a class act all the way. The house is but a few steps away from one of the most beautiful parks in the country, and well-situated for exploring the most fascinating city in the country. Do yourself a favor and bring (or rent) a bicycle, and pedal all over the area.

Comfortable and perfectly located in a great area! We had everything we needed for a family vacation. The pool and spa worked great and we just took one morning to swim, relax, and visit with each other in that awesome tropical backyard. We had a car so we didn’t need transportation but we did walk to the streetcar one day, plus it would be easy to Uber/Lyft from Gary’s place to the popular locations in New Orleans. We didn’t cook, because, frankly, why would you in food paradise when the local restaurants do it so well, but the kitchen was well stocked should you want to cook. We had fun using the game table, TVs, and sound system. Everything was a hit with our kids who were with us to celebrate their recent college graduations. We would stay here again for any occasion but the end of May was the perfect time for warm weather AND the end of crawfish season which we were thrilled to miss. Thanks, Gary!

Perfect is how I would describe the home, 15 minute drive to the airport, 20 mins into down town, 5 mins to the causeway bridge. The house is in a cute neighborhood that’s quiet, the backyard is filled with birds and plants. It’s kind of perfect - you are to everything, but you feel very relaxed and secluded in this quiet neighborhood. Tons of food delivery options close, as well as places to eat out, not to mention the gourmet kitchen at your disposal. Beds are comfortable, good water pressure in the shower. Host really does want you to feel at home and there are little touches like shampoo/ soap / conditioner. Sodas and waters in the fridge, dimmable lights… everything about check in and out was clear, communication was perfect. It was perfect spot for us.

Not only was this Airbnb one of the most gorgeous and thoughtfully curated that I’ve ever stayed in, but Miranda truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home! Upon arrival, she met us at the property to greet us and had candles lit, lamps on and music was softly playing in the kitchen where chocolates awaited alongside a list of “local favorites.” The space was clean and so well decorated, it felt more like a retreat. Miranda also was sure to check in to make she we had everything we needed! Every detail felt intentional and beautiful. The location was also perfect and we were able to walk to some delicious restaurants and shops. I could sing my praises forever!

Spent a week in Donald’s place while looking at property to buy outside of town. Perfect location, had everything you could ask for, and so quiet and peaceful! We loved the outdoor area and chairs to sit outside & enjoy the spring weather!! We would definitely recommend staying here. Our only complaint would be the bed may need a new mattress, as my 7 month pregnant self & my husband both woke up with backaches every morning from the hard mattress! Otherwise, it was an amazing stay and Donald was even there at midnight to welcome us and ensure we made it into the house safely!!

The house was so perfect, functional, comfy, and surprisingly accommodated nine people exceptionally well. We felt so at ease and happy that we could all fit so well. We loved the living room couch, multiple naps were taken there and it fit my two aunts side by side on one end! Just can't say enough how family friendly the house is. I felt closer to my family because it was an open concept; however, there was enough space between living and dining room to carry separate conversations. It was also really close to major attractions like Bourbon street, which was not as important for us this trip since tourism wasn't our main focus, but it was so easy to go for a quick jaunt into Jackson Square and Cafe Du Monde. The neighborhood seemed so safe, we all felt comfortable going out to our car late at night. And the neighbors were friendly. Also, with such a boisterous family I felt like we were able to still be ourselves. I'd definitely stay here again, we loved it.

Host was very responsive with questions. Location was just where I wanted to be and there was a private driveway! Will def rent again!

The home was lovely and very clean. Lots of welcome amenities and fresh flowers! Would stay here again for the location and the cleanliness of the home. The drawbacks for us were: 1. no shower, just a tub with a hand-held shower! This could be easily fixed by adding a free standing shower curtain rod and shower curtain and taller shower head. 2. No blackout curtains in the bedroom, so this room never gets really dark for sleeping. Paper shades were light filters in all night long. Not bad for the rest of the home, but would be nice to have the bedroom dark. This would be easy to replace the paper shades in the bedroom with blackout shades on the window and the sunroom door. Plus, the AC (which works very well in hot, humid NOLA!) blows directly on the head of the bed. The home stayed cool! Quirky....asked to not wear shoes in the house. I am sure this helps protect floors and keep the house clean. We would recommend and stay here again....just things to be aware of.

Thank you Mia for a wonderful stay. The home was beautiful! The beds were comfortable and most of all we were not to far from French quarter driving wise or for uber prices. The area was safe quiet and we were able to walk around for some last minute needs.

Davon’s place was perfect for my family vacation! The location is great we were able to take day trips to new orleans and baton rouge! There were lots of great restaurants just minutes away from the home! There was a neighborhood power outage and Davon let us know right away and kept us updated throughout the day and when it was turned on while we were out! His communication was outstanding and much appreciated! I highly recommend a stay at Davon’s house when i come back to the area I would surely stay here again!

I had a great stay! The property was just as pictured and the host was responsive in all ways. The location isn't far from central New Orleans, but perfect if you have reasons to be in this part of the area.

This is a marvelously quiet neighborhood. Convenient to the interstate and airport. Great neighborhood to walk the dog. Place is immaculate and comfortable. Plenty of good restaurants within easy drive. We did not visit the French Quarter but this would be a good spot for this. Maybe 15 - 20 minutes away but well worth the quiet and price.

The house was very clean, roomy and had plenty of accommodations. Super nice backyard and furniture. Looks even better than the photos! We had a group of 8 people, and it fit us all comfortably. Easy drive to the French Quarter, and very worth the price! The host was quick to respond and we were able to check in a little early upon request. Highly recommend!

We felt the house was in a safe and peaceful neighborhood, very clean, and convenient location. The house was just like the photos. We also did enjoy 2 of the attractions from the array of pamphlets Walter left there.

This was such a relaxing beautiful place to stay. Very close to so many things to do and see. Alex was wonderful at communication!
