Parking if you have a car is right in front of the house on our quiet street. We are nestled among the Douglas Firs and Western Cedars on a rock. We call it our treehouse. 5 minute drive, 25 min walk (hill involved) from the ferry/Cove/restaurants. 10 min walk to Miller's Landing Beach, wonderful swimming, overlooking the North Shore Mountains. 10 min walk to Crippen Regional Park! Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Come relax and enjoy a quiet, comfy stay on a country farm. The spacious open plan studio suite features a comfortable bed, small kitchenette, bathroom with shower, television and wifi. We are dog friendly and welcome sociallized, neutered/spade dogs to romp in the yard with our four. We have limited cooking facilities (toaster oven, induction stove-top and BBQ) and encourage our guests to support the local restaurants.
