We had an exceptional stay at Chantal and Jean's Charle. Their warm welcome made us feel immediately well. The accommodation, spacious and clean is perfect for relaxing in a quiet setting. Its location is ideal for exploring the region, with nearby restaurants, including Arromanches-sur-Mer and Bayeux, only 5 km away. Every morning, Chantal and Jean Charle prepared us a delicious breakfast, highlighting fresh products, accompanied of an excellent homemade cake. A big thank you to our hosts for their generosity and for making our stay so memorable!

Michels place is compact and very well equipped. The kitchen has everything you would need including a dishwasher. WiFi worked well, bed very comfortable and we especially liked the secure fenced garden. The home is very close to the beach and just a 5-10 min walk from a Supermarket (which also has a petrol station). It is perfectly placed to visit the many WW2 locations. Michel was a great host and we enjoyed our stay.

The property and hosts were both excellent, we had a great time visiting an appreciated the private and beautiful location. It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be truly wonderful people. Highly recommend!

A great location. We stayed for a d-day weekend and the apartment was walking distance to everything. On site parking was a real bonus and the views from the main window were impressive. We would stay again.

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. The place itself was spotless. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it both cozy and beautifully maintained. It felt like a home away from home, with all the little touches that make a big difference — from linens to a well-equipped kitchen and inviting decor. The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, centrally located to the Normandy sites. We appreciated how easy it was to get around. If you're looking for a comfortable, immaculately clean, and truly welcoming place to stay, look no further. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Sophie’s place to anyone. Stayed here for the 2nd time and it remains an absolutely wonderful house. Great view where you can quietly see the tides of the sea come and go in absolute peace. Regardless of the weather, this is a fantastic house, in nice weather on the terrace and with some rain a block of wood in the stove and nice in the living room stay.

Weather was hot when we were there but the property was thankfully cool. Also always shade somewhere to sit out. It was well equipped. As mentioned previously floor upstairs is quite creaky but that didn’t bother us. We ventured out a couple of times on the bikes to explore the nearby coast which was very good. Specially liked the coffee machine and the various pods including decaffeinated. We were disappointed that the village bakery had closed. However, there is an Intermarche just a little further that has a good bread and bakery section. We really enjoyed a quiet few days at Le Petit Pelloquin.

The host was welcoming and gave us the information to access the listing. The location is perfect because in the heart of Bayeux and 2 minutes from the cathedral. I would definitely recommend the owner and the space.

This property is right in the heart of Bayeux, but is quiet and has private parking. It was immaculately presented and felt like home straight away. Milene, the host, was extremely helpful and responds quickly to any query. We would definitely recommend and will be back.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

We had an incredible stay at this beachfront Airbnb! The location is absolutely unbeatable — you literally open the back gate and step right onto the sand. It was such a treat to wake up and be at the beach within seconds. The house itself was spotless and really well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the bathroom was stocked with all the essentials. The kids loved the dedicated room and play area — it made the whole stay even more relaxing for us. It’s hard to find a place that offers this kind of location and comfort at such great value. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

A real little cocoon, beautifully decorated, with a magnificent view (seagulls, boats, etc.)! We really enjoyed the balcony/veranda where we enjoyed eating our meals. The apartment is very clean and very well-equipped. The bedding is excellent, we slept very well. It feels like home. Lots of things to do nearby without taking the car. We were able to recharge our electric vehicle just outside the residence, which is very convenient. We had a great stay at Delphine and Hervé's, who are very caring hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The view was amazing and the place had everything we were looking for. The host was very responsive when we needed to reach her. I would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking to get away from the city for a few days.

I was in Caen for a conference so I didn't enjoy the accommodation or the beautiful little garden much, but everything worked perfectly. Guillaume, who I met, is a great host!

nice apartment everything you need. The garden was great in the great weather. The landlady is super nice and always wrote to see if everything was okay. We walked to the sea about 2km if at all, so a great location. The city was very close. We would gladly recommend it. There's nothing to complain about, always happy. Thanks again for everything

We were very happy at this residence. It was clean and had plenty of space. Would be nice to have a place to hang up clothing but otherwise perfect for us. Safe surroundings and walkable. Anaelle and Evelyne were responsive to any questions we had and very friendly when we met them on one occasion. We would gladly stay here again in the future.
