This is an ideal romantic vacation spot for couples. It is located in a quiet, serene neighborhood and has a large deck to enjoy. There is usually snow in winter. This is a kid friendly property with a pack-n-play, booster seat, and a play kitchen area in the downstairs. There is a king bed located upstairs in the loft (winding staircase is steep) and a double bed located downstairs in a bedroom. Nele and Brad’s place was perfect for us-not in the center of everything “Lake Tahoe” but a bit removed and still offering grocery, restaurants, coffee shops, and easy access to activities while also offering desired quiet and privacy. We were there in the spring but it would also be a great spot in the winter to ski the various resorts. The house itself was clean and comfortable, the beds were great, the kitchen and dining area well appointed and perfect, and having three bathrooms was a bonus. This beautiful home is in a private residential neighborhood so you need to be respectful of the neighbors and the community in which it sets. It is perfect for a family with younger kids or older couples visiting the area. It is definitely not an active “party” spot and does not offer any “nightlife activities” for those seeking that type of getaway. However it checked all of the boxes for us and easily deserves the 5/5 star review. Appreciated extras include coffee, popcorn, tissues, spices.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, spacious, and had plenty of rooms and beds to comfortably accommodate our group. The hot tub was a great bonus, and we loved all the extra touches—like games, coffee, and a large backyard to relax in. It was the perfect spot for a fun and comfortable getaway. Highly recommend!
