The Japanese-style room features the beautiful, elegant construction unique to Miyadaiku. It is so carefully maintained that it is hard to believe it is 35 years old, and you can enjoy a comfortable stay while feeling the warmth and calm of Japanese architecture. There are 6 free parking spaces on the premises, which is very convenient for group trips by car. There is a gazebo in the garden, where you can enjoy outdoor dining or a barbecue. There is also a pond in the backyard where carp swim, where you can spend a quiet and luxurious time. A 1-minute walk away is a natural hot spring at a nearby hotel, where you can also bathe on a day trip. Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall).
