Lovely holiday lodge in a quiet location on a holiday complex with a large pool, restaurant, shop, entertainment and arcade. Pitch and putt, fishing lake too. Small shop selling essentials. Excellent accommodation with two twin rooms upstairs, a double bedroom downstairs with en suite bathroom. Family bathroom also. Kitchen well equipped. Smart tv and WiFi. All beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept well during our weeks stay. Close to Wadebridge and Bodmin for the superstores eg. Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda. Around 30 minutes travelling for Padstow/Harlyn Bay/ Port Isaac. Gorgeous pubs nearby, particularly St Tudy Inn and St Kew Inn should you wish to dine out ( which we did ). Can highly recommend this holiday home for exploring North Cornwall or cycling the Camel Trail (which we did). A fabulous holiday with two of our grandchildren. Lots of memories made. We had a lovely experience staying in this charming cottage, located in the quiet village of Trewalder, just minutes away from Tintagel. Pros: A beautiful, all-wooden cottage with modern bathroom fixtures. Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, plus thoughtful extras like dishwasher tablets, coffee pods, and biscuits. We enjoyed our first barbecue with friends—coal, wood, and everything we needed was provided. The place was clean, cosy, and very well maintained. Ideal for a larger family or group of friends, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (1 en-suite). Just a 15-minute drive from Tintagel village. Good Wi-Fi connection and a secure environment. Ample parking space available. The host, Sharon, was responsive and helpful—we were in touch on two separate occasions. Cons: Not much to complain about. Just a heads-up: the location is a bit far if you’re planning day trips to West Cornwall (Penzance, Land’s End, Minack Theatre, etc.), but that’s something to consider when planning

We had a wonderful stay at Wheelwright House! The house itself is beautiful inside, and very comfortable, with everything you need. The beds were super comfy and the sheets and towels were pristine. Our girls (3 &6 years old) loved the bunk beds and the games and books throughout the house were loved by all. Great location with a local pub serving good food in walking distance and a play park for the kids! Perfect base for visiting Wadebridge, Padstow, Rock, Polzeath & Port Isaac. Thanks for a lovely weekend away!!

We absolutely loved our stay – the amenities were top-notch and the decoration throughout the space was beautiful and thoughtfully curated. Kate was incredibly responsive to any messages and went above and beyond with lots of lovely personal touches that made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend booking the wellness concierge experience – it added such a special, relaxing element to our trip. Also, don’t miss a visit to The Pig at Harlyn Bay – the food and atmosphere were amazing. Would definitely stay again – thank you, Kate!

The Ticket Office is very well appointed and located to provide access to the local beauty spots: Tintagel, Boscastle, the SW Coastal Path, as well as other slightly more distant attractions. A most comfortable and roomy property. We shall happily consider returning in the future.

We only had 36 hours in Cornwall. Ian & Allison’s cottage provided the perfect Cornwall experience. Very comfortable and well equipped. I felt I was stepping back in time. Incredibly lovely area and we explored some area gems in our short time there.

Highly recommend Trehaze Cottage. John & Barbara were very friendly and welcoming, the cream tea and wine were very appreciated. Very well equipped with everything you need, lovely and peaceful. Garden is a suntrap when you have the weather. Our dog loved the paddock to have a run round. Within easy reach of Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel. Plenty of information leaflets for places to visit in the area. If youre lucky you'll get a visit from the wildlife.

We had the most wonderful stay at Ladydown Cottage! Mick and Janine were incredibly helpful and thoughtful hosts, staying in contact and providing all the information we needed before and during our visit. After a long 5-hour drive, we arrived at 4 am to find the cottage beautifully warm and welcoming, with lights and heating already on – such a considerate touch that made all the difference. The cottage itself is cozy and charming, and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The detailed guide they left for local places to eat and visit was spot-on – the food recommendations were some of the best meals we’ve ever had! We truly felt at home and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway in Cornwall! Sophia & family X
